Spacing Out

Leo looked at me and smirked, seeing I was in a good mood. I stretched and looked at Leo then adjusted my gloves. Leo chuckled softly and crossed his arms.

"You know, I've never seen you smile this much before. The last time I've seen you smile so freely was when you first got with Hannah. It seems like last night was a good night for you huh." Leo said.

"It was and it's got me in the spirits and ready for this training session. Plus I'm training with one of the best again. My dad taught me everything he knows, now it's time for his rival to grab the torch." I said and chuckled.

Leo smirked and got into his stance. "Right, let's see what you've got."

Arabella and Everleigh watched the sparring match and smiled at me. Daisy and Vesta watched as well, studying Leo more and excited to see how far I've come. Mihr had her arms crossed, leaning against a tree in the distance as she watched us. Yuki smiled excitedly and cheering for me.

"Ready when you are, Claudio!" Leo said.

I ran toward Leo and went for a punch, but he pushed my arm away. I used that momentum to go for a spinning kick, but he stopped my leg then grabbed it. He smirked and pushed my leg back, but I used that moment to go for a spinning heel kick. He dodged my attack then palmed my back, making me stumble forward.

I chuckled softly then pivoted into a roundhouse kick, but Leo dodged it then began parrying all of my strikes. He caught my fist then swiftly struck my chest with an open hand strike then followed it with a powerful bump, pushing me back. I stumbled then noticed Leo rushing toward me. I quickly leaned back, evading his roundhouse kick and lost my footing then groaned as he hit me with a straight kick, knocking me back.

"His reflexes are noticably better, but you can tell he was caught off guard." Everleigh said and smiled.

"Yeah..~ All those battles made him into a better fighter...There is no better teacher than experience..~" Arabella said.

"C'mon, Cloudy...Let's see some more." Daisy said.

I stood up and smirked then dusted myself off. I hopped up and down then got into my stance. "This is only just beginning, Mr. Reigns."

Leo chuckled softly and got into his stance, gesturing for me to come at him. "Show me, Mr. Angels.."

I smirked and looked at Leo's feet then ran toward him. Leo shifted his feet then prepare to dodge my attack, but I feinted my punch into a spinning jump kick. Leo smirked and ducked under my kick.

'He's always ten steps ahead... It's like playing Chess...but his King Piece is stronger than mine...' I thought to myself.

I landed on the ground then went for a spinning sweep kick, but he dodged my attack then watched as I stood up and went for a right hook. Leo parried it then looked down at my feet then took a step forward, knowing I would instinctively take a step back. I blocked his strikes then pushed his hands down then went for a swift open hand strike, but he blocked it then palmed my chest, making me stumble backwards. He watched me then rushed forward. I prepared to dodge him, but he stepped forward again going for a kick, knowing that I would shift my body to dodge. He feinted his kick, throwing me off guard once again.

"Checkmate." Leo said and went for a left hook.

I grunted as my positioning didn't allow me to react the way I needed. Leo stopped his fist before hitting me and gently tapped my cheek with his fist twice then backed away. I watched them then chuckled softly. I properly bowed toward Leo. He bowed back and walked away.

Mihr smiled and got off the tree. "Well, there's the winner..~"

"Wow, that was a great sparring match~" Vesta said and smiled.

"It was~ Leo was just too smart for him though...as always, he's always ten steps ahead..~" Daisy said and smiled then looked at me.

I finished freshening up then got dressed and ready to go out. I made my way downstairs and noticed Cassie and Hannah sitting on my couch bonding and gossiping. I smiled and grabbed my keys. "I'm heading out!"

"'Kay!~" Hannah said.

"See you later~" Cassie responded.

"Ah ah! Not so fast!" Daisy said and crossed her arms.

I looked at Daisy and noticed her blushing. I smiled and walked over to her. "Daisy, it's supposed to be casual..~"

"It is casual.." Daisy said with a slightly whiny voice and looked at me with puppy eyes.

I sighed softly and smiled. I kissed her lips and pulled away. "I'll see you later okay..?"

"Mmkay..~" Daisy said then blushed madly.

Mihr watched me leave and looked at Daisy. "Casual huh? Why not just...break the rules for once actually date him? Loopholes, if an agent falls in love the VIP 20 Policy no longer remains in effect."

"I dunno, maybe I'm just waiting for when the stars align for us..~ I know it's stupid but..." Daisy said.

Mihr placed her hand on her hip and shook her head. "May my God be with you, woman..."

I got into my car and started it then looked at my phone.

"Proposal: Go visit Aurora. Coordinates to her location marked on map." Dearie said.

I nodded and backed out of my driveway then drove off to Aurora. From the direction I was going, it was looking like I was going to her house. I decided to call Aurora and let her know that I was headed there ahead of time so I wouldn't surprise her. She let me know it was okay for me to come and was happy that I was showing up.

After a long drive, I made it to her house and noticed another car was already there. I got out of my car and went to her front door then rang the doorbell. Aurora opened the door and looked at me with a smile.

"Hi..~" Aurora said.

"Hey.." I said and smiled at her. "Can I come in?"

"Yeah of course~" Aurora said and let me in.

I walked inside and noticed Azalea sitting on the couch. I looked at Azalea and smiled at her then looked over at Aurora. "Didn't know she was here too."

"Yeah..~ Azalea came by to drop some things off. Come on and chat with us~" Aurora said and led me to the living room.

Azalea noticed me and giggled softly. "Well, hello there my handsome stranger~"

"And hello to you, Ms. Nature~" I said and smiled.

"Azalea was telling me about how you and her had history together?~ I can't believe you used to be her student, and you two just fell in love like that?~" Aurora asked.

"Yeah, I mean basically it started as a crush then I saw her on the Dearie App and decided to take her on a date and everything. Ever since then, we've basically been a couple." I chuckled softly.

"Yeah, but this famous stud here has been busy with other women and forgot about little ol' me~" Azalea said in a dramatic way, teasing me.

"It's not even like that.." I chuckled and crossed my arms. "I am an agent now, but as of now I'm on break."

"Ahh~ You rose up the ranks huh?~ Arabella must really like you.." Azalea said.

I chuckled softly and looked at Aurora. "So what have you been up to, Ms. Space Watcher?~"

Aurora blushed and looked at me. "M-Me? Well I've been just watching the stars as usual and I was thinking about going to the Stellar Museum today because I want to learn more about our universe~"

"A museum huh? That's sounds like fun." Azalea said.

[Suggestion: Take Aurora and Azalea out to the museum.]

I looked at my phone then back at the two ladies. "If you want, I could take you two there~"

"Really?~ You don't have to, Claudio..~" Aurora said shyly.

"C'mon, I'll pay for everything. Plus it'll be fun hearing you teach about the stars and such." I said.

Aurora looked at Azalea then Azalea nodded and smiled. Aurora looked back at me and nodded. "Okay~ Let's go~"

I stood up and spun my keys around my finger. "Alright, let's ride~"

The three of us made it to the Stellar Museum and got out of my car. I looked at the building and admired it. The building's coloration made it look as if there was an entire galaxy on it. I looked at Aurora and watched her walk up to me.

"I can't wait to see all the...stars..~" Aurora said as she began spacing out.

Azalea looked at Aurora and laughed a bit. "Yeah she does that often when she becomes exuberant. Usually just a simple snap of your fingers should wake her."

I nodded and snapped my fingers then Aurora snapped out of her trance. I chuckled and crossed my arms. "I'm gonna be doing that a lot huh?"

"It only happens when she's very comfortable around people~ You must've stolen her heart rather quickly~" Azalea laughed a bit.

Aurora blushed and hurried ahead. "L-Let's go! There's so much to see!"

Azalea and I looked at each other then shared a soft laugh then followed Aurora inside. Aurora led us around the museum, basically lecturing us about the different stars and galaxies. She sounded excited to teach us about everything and I enjoyed listening to her. Azalea found enjoyment being lectured about a topic she barely had any knowledge of.

As we traversed the museum, we noticed a huge crowd of people surrounding one artifact. My phone beeped and I looked at it.

[Alert: Large amount of Spiritual Energy nearby.]

[Hypothesis: A Wonder Star is nearby.]

"Is that what I think it is?" Aurora asked in awe as she walked toward the crowd and noticed a Wonder Star on display. "A Wonder Star."

"A Wonder Star? What is that?" Azalea asked.

"It's a Star that holds wondrous power based on the reports. A star that comes form an entirely different dimension in the form of a solid form. Just simply touching one can ascend anyone into a higher condition...I have been waiting my entire life to see one of these..." Aurora said as she gazed upon the Wonder Star.

I grunted as my marking shined. I looked over and noticed a woman in the crowd.

The woman's beauty was angelic like Mihr's but much darker. She was a woman with lustrous jet-black hair and the face of a goddess. She had golden irises and vertically split pupils. On her left and right temples were two white, smooth, thick horns protruding crookedly, and on her waist are a pair of black angel wings. She wore a pure white dress with silky gloves covering her slender hands and a red diamond-eqsue cross necklace that covers her chest. She had a halo over her head. Her Halo had red sharp daggers on her star shaped circle with a four-pointed star in the middle.

The woman looked at me then smirked. She walked into the crowd and suddenly, one by one, the crowd of people began to fall into a deep slumber. I grunted and noticed Aurora and Azalea fall into a deep slumber as well.

"Human~ You have gazed upon my beauty and have not fallen victim to my Sloth..~ Such a wonderful man...I can not resist a man like you..~" The woman said and noticed a pillar of light appear beside me.

"Well well, Jabril. The members of the Omega Faction have finally decided to rise up and stir up more issues for us huh?" Mihr said.

Jabril looked at Mihr and held her arms then smirked. "Mihr...You know you can't stop us, but now is the time for us to work together to put an end to the Nexus. You know the story...Nexus is the issue and all we are doing as the Black Angels is destroying those who oppose us."

"What you are doing is wrong. You are only trying to awaken Omega so he can destroy the Mortal Realm. As a follower of Alpha, I can not allow you to acquire that Wonder Star." Mihr said and slowly summoned her sword and scales then combined the two.

"Is that so..?~ Well I've been itching for a good battle against a fellow Angel who commands their lineage~" Jabril said and grabbed her necklace then it shined. She took off her necklace then it transformed into a sword with a long blade.

"Alert: A Powerful Enemy has appeared. Proposal: Defeat Jabril and stop her from acquiring the Wonder Star." Dearie said.

I grunted as I noticed I was being warped. I looked around and noticed we were on the rooftop of the Museum. "Man all I wanted to do was go on a date with Azalea and Aurora... Whose grand idea was it to display a stupid Wonder Star in the damn museum?"

Jabril walked around then smirked. "Here I come!~"

Jabril propelled herself toward us and Mihr propelled herself toward Jabril. The two clashed and entered a blade lock. I grunted as their two energies generated repulsive forces.

"This battle is already getting crazy!" I said.

"My angel! Go back down and get that Wonder Star!" Mihr said and pushed Jabril away then took flight.

Jabril giggled and flew after Mihr at high speeds. "You're not getting away, Alpha Angel!"

"Proposal: Take the Wonder Star." Dearie said.

I hurried back inside the building through the stairwell that was on the roof. I rushed down the stairs and ran toward the Wonder Star. I noticed a masked figure in a black cloak near the Wonder Star then conjured a sphere of light then threw it at the person. The person dodged the Light Blast and looked at me.

"Who is that..?" I asked.

"Unknown." Dearie said.

I grunted and ran toward the figure to stop them from getting the Wonder Star. They caught my fist then pushed me back. I looked at them and their demeanor showed that they didn't want to fight. I rushed forward with a kick, but they dodged it and parried each one of my attacks then spread my arm, double palming my chest, knocking me back.

I groaned as I rolled backwards then recovered on one knee. I stood up then ran toward them and went for a punch, but they blocked it and countered with a knee to my stomach. I groaned and swiftly blocked their attack and grabbed their arm. They struck me with a swift left hook, making me stumble. I turned around only to be met with a boot slamming against my chest. I groaned as I slammed into a nearby wall.

I panted softly and stood up slowly. "This guy...his moves are similar to my dad's..."

The figure adjusted their mask then walked toward the Wonder Star case and noticed me run toward them again. He countered my strike then kicked my leg, bringing me to one knee. I grunted as I tried to recover, but it was too late. He went for the finishing blow, but stopped himself. He pushed me away then took the Wonder Star and walked away.

I grunted softly and tried to stand up. "I can't...let him get away.."

"Jabril, you can come on. I have the Wonder Star acquired." The figure said and disappeared.

Jabril clashed with Mihr then groaned as Mihr knocked her away with a powerful slash. She stopped herself in the air then panted. She smirked and looked at Mihr. "We're gonna have to save this for another time~"

Mihr watched as Jabril flew away then warped toward me. She gasped as she noticed I was on the ground. She hurried to help me up. "My angel...Who did this to you?"

"I don't know...but it was a masked man...he got away with the Star. He was stronger and faster than me in all aspects. I don't know who it was..." I said and held my stomach. I looked over at Azalea and Aurora, noticing them waking up.

Mihr looked at them as well then grunted softly. "Alright...we are going to look into it. You just take them home alright?"

"Okay.." I said.

Aurora brought me some tea and sat beside me. "Are you feeling any better..?"

"Yeah...I'm feeling better..." I said softly and smiled at Aurora.

Aurora looked me and watched me sip my tea. She gently touched my cheek and caressed me. I looked at Aurora and felt her gently stroke my hair.

"I worry about you...With you being an Agent now and having to go through this trouble. It's a lot of responsibility and it gets hard...but you should take it easy alright..?" Aurora said.

I nodded and set my cup down. "Can I ask you why you're so infatuated by the Wonder Star?"

Aurora sat up against me and got comfortable beside me. "Well it's such a strange phenomenon you know..? It's something that's abnormal and something out of this world. I want to get my hands on one someday. I want to know its true beauty and nature."

"It's too dangerous though...I don't want you getting wrapped up and kidnapped because you have something my enemies want..." I said.

Aurora smiled at me and got closer. "I know it's dangerous, but something about it just drags me in...like you do..."

I blushed a bit and looked at Aurora. She stared at me, parting her lips. We leaned closer into each other then gently pressed our foreheads together. She grew shy and looked down, but I held her chin then gently kissed her. I pulled away slowly, but she pulled me back in, kissing my lips.
