Reunion Pt. IV

A few days went by since the ball and everything has calmed down. Since then, Cecilia and Ashera signed a peace treaty at my request and agreed to unite their two kingdoms together. While that process went on, I was beginning to grow closer to Usagi...

"Claudio!~ Come on slowpoke!~ Hurry up!~" Usagi called out to me and waved.

"Man, she's got a lot of energy huh?" Dearie said as she looked at Usagi.

I smiled at her and chuckled softly. "She's been like this for a few days now. After all, I did just basically save two kingdoms from going to war~"

Dearie smiled and shrugged. "Barely, but I give credit where credit is due~"

I looked at Dearie then rolled my eyes and caught up to Usagi. "What's the big rush anyway? Have you found something unusual or something?"

"No, but look at what I found!~" Usagi said then stood in front of a house. "It's your old home!~"

I looked at the house and rested my hands behind my bed. "Hmm..? Wow they still haven't demolished this old landmark?"

Usagi skipped forward toward the porch and hummed happily. "C'mon!~ I know you want to explore around it!~"

I watched Usagi and followed her curiously. "Usagi, hold on. How are we gonna get in?"

Usagi turned back toward me then giggled softly. "Just watch~"

Usagi looked around and looked at the old container that needed a passcode. I watched Usagi extremely closely and watched her punch in the passcode and getting it correct on her first try then took out the spare key to the house. She showed me the key and smiled happily. I was in total shock because the passcode was something only my original mother knew. The password was the day my original mother and Leo first met.

"Usagi...how do you know that passcode?" I asked.

Usagi smiled sweetly at me and walked toward the door to unlock it. "There's something I wanted to show you..~ Something very important..~ A secret that even Leo has kept from you and he wanted to tell you this said secret, but died before even getting the chance to..."

I watched Usagi walk inside the house then looked at Dearie. Dearie shrugged and didn't know what Usagi was talking about either. We both followed Usagi inside, wondering what Usagi wanted to share with us.

I looked around the house and memories rushed back into my head of the old times. I looked at all of the old broken pictures that were still hung on the walls...It had been forever since I last even attempted to visit here.

"This house is very important..~ It holds more significance than anyone could ever truly realize..~" Usagi said then looked around. She stopped at a table that still had paperwork on it. "This house almost hurts to be inside..~"

I looked at Usagi and crossed my arms. "Really? Even though you've never been in here before? If anyone should be hurting, it should be me. I suffered in this house..."

Usagi paused for a brief moment then gave a bittersweet smile. "I know..~ And Luke will still pay for what he's done..."

I watched Usagi walk off then followed her while Dearie scanned the area for hidden information. As Usagi and I traversed down the halls, I could feel goosebumps forming on my arms. I stopped walking and Usagi noticed then looked back at me.

"C'mon..~ Nothing's gonna hurt you..~" Usagi said then held her hand out toward me.

I held my head and closed my eyes. "I don't know...I am still not ready to see her body again if she's still there..."

Usagi stared at me then walked toward me and held my hand gently. "Just come on..~ It's very important that you see it..~"

I looked at Usagi then gently squeezed her hand. I reluctantly agreed to follow her then we walked down the halls together once more. The air began to feel colder the closer we neared the danger point. Usagi noticed the door was still open and nodded. We walked into the secret room and I kept hesitating to keep going forward, but ultimately pushed on...

"When you were younger, you've seen Alice in a chair lifeless right? Well if you didn't know, Alice was still alive...and her clone...her clone has turned evil. The Alice you knew...the Alice you thought was your real mother before discovering the real version is now truly under Suxen's control." Usagi explained.

I listened to Usagi then noticed we had entered the room I found my original mother in. I looked at the chair and noticed it was empty now. I looked at Usagi and noticed her smiling.

"Claudio..." Usagi started then turned toward me, placing her hands on my shoulders. "Are you ready for what I am about to say?"

I stared at Usagi then looked away a bit. "Truthfully, I am not prepared...however I am willing to listen."

Usagi made me look at her then I stared at her, nervous for what she was about to say. Usagi smiled at let me go then walked backwards. I watched Usagi then she held her arms out then her energy spiralled around her body. I noticed her changing her form and my eyes widened.

Usagi's hair turned platinum blonde, her eyes shined a beautiful blue color, and her outfit turned into a beautiful blue and white dress with black and white striped stockings. Once Usagi finished transforming, my eyes widened as I looked at her.

Usagi smiled at me as she revealed her true being. "Claudio..~ This is my secret..~ A secret I've had since the beginning...I am the real Alice Angels."

I stared at Usagi in disbelief and couldn't process it. A memory flash in my head of first meeting Usagi until now. I grunted and held my head then a rush of memories flowed into my head. "No...no way you're the real—but how..? All this time...you've been in front of me and..."

Usagi walked toward me and held my arm gently. "I know how hard this might be for you to take in, and trust me it's already hard enough for me to reveal my identity to everyone else...but the woman you're seeing right now in front of you, is your biological mother.."

I looked at Usagi once again, still in disbelief. So many emotions rushed into me, but the only thing I could do at the moment was hug her. Usagi looked at me then hugged me back.

Dearie finally found us and noticed me and Usagi sharing a moment together. She was confused at what was going on then scanned Usagi. Dearie looked over her information then looked surprised.

"You're Alice Angels?!" Dearie yelled out in shock.

Usagi looked at Dearie then smiled. She let me go then nodded at her. "Please keep this between us...if anyone find out who I am...if Suxen finds out who I really am, I don't know what might truly happen. I already lost someone who I love, I can't lose my world as well..."

Dearie stared at Usagi then held her arms. "How long have you actually been alive? How long have you been living amongst us?"

"I've been alive...just like Leo at the time, I went hiding. I used a different alias to keep my true identity hidden from Suxen, disguised myself and my energy to prevent him from catching on. He just thinks that I am some woman Leo fell in love with, but in reality... I've been here. Watching my son grow stronger by the day..~" Usagi said then smiled at me proudly.

I looked at Usagi, still processing...however everything changed from here. Knowing my true mother is still with me put my mind at ease truly. I couldn't help but smile at her and think of all the stories I wanted to tell her and everything that's happened.

"This is ground breaking, but...what if someone finds out?" Dearie asked.

"No one's gonna figure something like this out. I've been hiding my true identity for years and it's only right that Claudio, my baby, sees the real me first before anyone else. I just needed the perfect time to show him. With that said, if you even accidentally leak this information out...remember that I'm your originator. I'm vastly stronger than you can even imagine being. Do not ruin this for me!" Usagi said.

"You have my word. Besides betraying you would mean betraying Claudio and I love Claudio. I could never betray him for anything or anyone in this universe. I wouldn't even betray him for Yascha himself." Dearie said.

"Now that's dedication~" Lilith said to me and giggled.

I grunted as I heard her voice. 'Cmon, not now!'

"It's true though. I've never seen anyone more dedicated to a mortal before. Dearie is a one of a kind." Nexus chuckled softly.

I shook my head and sighed softly. 'You too..?'

"What's wrong, honey?" Usagi asked as she looked at me.

I looked at Usagi and smiled. "Oh nothing, just arguing with the voices in my head..~ They do tend to grow quite annoying when you form special bonds with them. Speaking of bonds...even though others shouldn't know of your identity, I think one woman should know who you are..~"

"Who?" Usagi asked.

"Someone who's been watching over me since the accident I had..~" I said and smiled.

_______________________________

Mihr stared at Usagi and crossed her arms. She looked at me then looked back at Usagi then back at me. "You know, I'm quite surprised that you would come out of hiding now because we really could've used your help like a long time ago."

"C'mon, you still hate me? What happened at Reverence Corps was like so long ago!" Usagi said.

"I'll still never forgive you. You caused all of this!" Mihr fussed. "My Angel, are you sure about this?"

"C'mon, Mihr...This is my REAL mom we're talking about. You know, someone I've been getting visions about to see the entire truth and now the story comes to a full circle!" I said.

"Yeah but now Leo's dead and she's still alive. I don't give two damns if Usagi is the real Alice or not. She's the originator of all our troubles!" Mihr said.

"And I know how to truly stop it. You mentioned visions right? Claudio, what visions have you been having?" Usagi asked.

"The usual. Running away from my father, getting into a car accident, seeing your barely alive body in that chair, going to Lilith herself and praying to her and Nexus." I said.

"You did what?! You went to Lilith?! THE BANISHED ANGEL?!" Usagi asked in shock.

"I thought you were watching the entire time, Miss Wonderland." Mihr asked mockingly.

Usagi glared at Mihr then put her hand in Mihr's face. "I don't even want to speak to you. Whatever you've got to say, you can say it to the hand."

"Or I could put my hands on you." Mihr said.

"Ladies! Enough!" I sighed and separated the two of them. "Listen Mihr, I know Mom has caused all of this, but I am at fault too. Even though it was involuntarily, I am part of the reason why System: Wonderland even exists and this is basically something I have to stop."

"Ugh, I'm only cooperating because you're telling me to, NOT because I want to work alongside this crazy witch. I mean come on, what were you thinking marrying Luke?!" Mihr said.

Usagi pointed at Mihr and gave her an annoyed smile. "You're this close from being a victim to my Wonder Sword."

"Oh you think you can take on me? The strongest Alpha Angel? I've been waiting for this very moment, Alice." Mihr said then popped her knuckles.

"No one's fighting so stop it now!" I yelled and they both looked at me. "Geez, I can't have my Guardian Angel and my mother fighting each other regardless of what happened. We need to all get along, please.."

Mihr sighed then calmed down. "Fine..."

"I guess I'll cooperate." Usagi said then crossed her arms.

I didn't realize how much Mihr actually hated Usagi, let alone knew the fact that she knew my mother before even coming to protect me. Things were going to become more complicated for me if I didn't figure out a way for the two of them to get along and not be at each other's throats.

"How about this. Cecilia and Ashera are planning to use the new land they were originally fighting over to start Spring Kingdom together. How about we help them get set up after their done with their peace treaty? This should give you two some time to catch up and actually start liking each other? We're all in this together you know." I said.

"That's actually a great idea." Dearie said.

Mihr didn't like the idea initially, but came into terms to it. "Fine, but under one condition."

"What is it now?" Usagi sighed.

"You tell us everything you know. Nothing left out. You know the truth more than anyone here, so it's only right that you tell us everything." Mihr said.

Usagi closed her eyes then sighed. "I guess, but there's just some things I can't tell because I'm not 100% certain about it myself such as how to stop my clone. I mean she's a perfect copy of me and even I don't know my own weaknesses taken that I have none. Everything else, I can sing like a bird...only if you do something for me."

"What?" Mihr asked.

"You tell me about this supposed City of Heaven." Usagi said.

"Deal." Mihr said then held her hand out to shake Usagi's hand.

Usagi took Mihr's hand then gripped it tightly, smiling and shaking her hand. "I'm glad we can agree~"

Mihr felt how firm Usagi held her hand then began to tightly squeeze Usagi's hand with the same sound of pressure. She chuckled and gave an annoyed smile. "Me too~ I'm glad we are agreeing..!~"

Dearie and I watched the two and sighed softly. We both knew there was nothing we could do to stop them from bickering. It was nice to have them working together now and it was nice to finally have some information of our own about Suxen and his plans. I was just hoping that this alliance doesn't end up going south.

Once we all came to an agreement, we went off to East Spring to see Cecilia and Ashera. I was excited to see what they were going to do with Spring Kingdom and they even told me that I could be king of Spring Kingdom. I knew I was in for a heck of a ride and didn't want to disappoint either one of them.
