ESCAPE

I was woken up by heavy footsteps.My maid lina whispered with urgency.

"Your highness the castle is been attacked .His !majesty has asked you to flee to your brothers country".

I was rather calm because my brother had warned me 3 years prior to the attack.His words still rang in my ears as if it were just yesterday .I grabbed a purple cloak and a commoners dress.I put on my flat shoes that were worn out and tight .I followed my maid and met my ladies in waiting crying histerically urging me to run away.I held the tears escaping from my eye as I looked at the youngest of them Viscountess Eleanor whom I revealed my brothers intentions to .She nodded at me and I looked at her with gratitude. I met a cheap carriage already prepared for me at the back of the castle .As I entered I took a deep breath .I started to look at the castle I was leaving,remembering the memories .As the carriage started moving I put my hands by the window resting my head .I began to think of why my brother offered me the role as Princess in the other kingdom.

As far as I knew my brother hated my father Emperor Verladon of the eastern empire whom cheated on his mother Princess Elizabeth of the western empire with my mother ,Miss Mary,daughter of Duke Lucas of the Eastern empire .My brother and step mother fled back to the Western empire and they were accepted with open arms .My brother Williams was immediately identical as crown Prince and as well, started his lessons. While my mother couldn't bear a child and committed suicide.I had no feelings for my mother but I respected my father only as Emperor .I slept on the way to the the Western empire as I only woke up to change carriages.

We finally reached the western empire .My brothers secretary informed him of my arrival.As I stepped in and glanced at my brother .As I was about to curtsy my brother beat me to it.

"If it isn't my darling sister Isabelle?"I look up and my words got stuck in my throat .
