1 Ch 1: Good Life
" Are you going, Tom?"
" I don't know, I have not made up my mind yet." replied Tom still pondering over whether he should go or not.
"What about Sherlin? Is She going?" Tom asked Harry with curiosity.
"Yeah Man, She has even packed her bags already, just talked to her over the phone. She is extremely excited about the trip." said Harry.
"Now you have made up your mind, don't you?" He added.
"Yesss buddy, I never said I am not going" replied Tom grinning cheerfully.
Tom became hyperexcited on hearing the news about Sherlin, one of the most beautiful girls in the college with straight blond hair and blue eyes that made almost every guy in the college have a crush on her.
Tom was one of those guys who adored Sherlin from inside his heart but never had the courage to admit it infront of her.
Tom was too a young handsome man of about 21 years of age with dark coloured hair and an ideal masculine body with a tall frame of 6'1".
His best friend Harry, a basketball champ, taller in comparison to him with strong athletic tanned body, was one of the popular guys in the college. Both of them were best friends since their childhood and had immense love for each other.
"I already knew that you are gonna say this. Now stop showing your teeth and start preparing. We are leaving day after tomorrow." said Harry.
"I'll just check on the rest of us in the college canteen. See ya tomorrow in the campus." He added.
"Yeah, sure. I myself have to get the things that are needed and pack my bags too. Catch you tomorrow, bye-bye." replied Tom and hugged Harry.
After this, Tom left for his home on his bicycle and Harry moved towards college canteen which was just few minutes away from there on foot. Reaching there, he saw rest of his 4 friends sitting around a table having coffee and gossipping.
"Hey Harry, Come on. We were just talking about you and our trip to the Island of Banoi."Alex welcomed Harry.
"It will be once in a lifetime trip and we will be having tonnes of joyous and precious moments that we will cherish till our end."Catherine said enthusiastically.
"Absolutely, it will be a thrilling and fully adventurous experience that we have been lacking in our lives."Peter added.
"We have been planning for this trip for so long and finally this is going to happen."Juliet said in a screaming tone.
"Yeah Guys, we have been waiting for this moment since a long time. There will be no one watching over us, putting restrictions on us or anything else like our parents do. We are gonna do lots and lots of Party, swimming, dancing, boating and hiking, trekking in the forest and what not."Harry added jumping on his feet.
'Island of Banoi' was an isolated but beautiful island in a triangular shape on one side of which was soothing beach with golden sand by the side of majestic deep blue ocean whose waves crashed against the bigger stones on the shore and dazzling sunrays falling upon the golden sand making the sand sparkle like thousands of tiny jewels along with gentle but chilly breeze blowing making it feel like a heaven.
The other side of the Island was dense forest with heavenly trees which seemed touching the sky. A little hill rose in the middle of the Island from where one can have a magical view of both the beach and the forest.
" Alex, you will have all the seven people's tickets with you, do not lose any of them or else I will kill you"smirked Catherine at Alex.
"We have to board the ship early in the morning day after tomorrow" She added.
Alex and Catherine were one of the ideal couples in the college. They had been dating each other for 2 years now.
"Nah, I will not give you any chance to kill me." said Alex Winking at Catherine along with a lovely smile.
"Both of you will never stop your little fights"Juliet giggled.
"Infact, it's good for both of you. It actually deepens your love for each other." She added.
"I completely agree with Juliet", said Peter in his rythmic voice.
"All right guys, It's quite late now. We are left with only one day now i.e., tomorrow. Everyone get all the necessary stuff and be prepared. Catch you all later." Harry said to all.
Saying this, Harry shook hands with everyone and left for his home on his bike which was parked near the college campus in the parking area.
"We should also leave, it is getting dark now."said Juliet and everyone agreed with her and they started moving towards their respective homes.
Alex and Catherine started moving together on foot holding each other's hands.
"Are you happy, Catherine?"asked Alex.
"I have never been so happy in my life as I am today. I had always wanted to go on a trip like this and with you being there, I could not want anything more. It will be the best trip of my life."replied Catherine pulling Alex closer to her.
"I am too very excited about the trip and seeing you so happy, I do not want anything else from God."said Alex and they shared a romantic kiss and continued moving towards their homes which were just a few minutes away from there and not very far apart from each other.
Peter and Juliet went the other way opposite in direction to Alex and Catherine in Juliet's car. They were very good friends as they knew each other from their school times.
Peter was a young, slim, innocent but adventurous guy with rythmic voice and a charming smile which one could see on his cute face all the time.
Juliet, on the other hand, was a bold, beautiful, confident and glamourous girl with a dream of becoming a supermodel one day. Her shiny long black hair made every girl in the college envious about.
"Peter, do not forget to take what I told you."said Juliet smirking at Peter.
"Don't worry, I won't. I will pack your underwater Camera as soon as I reach home."Peter said comforting Juliet.
Reaching Peter's home which was just small distance behind Juliet's home, "Okay, we have reached. See you Soon. Take care."said Juliet.
"Yeah, sure. Bye bye." Peter said and got off the car and went towards his home.
Thus, it was a group of seven friends namely Tom, Sherlin, Harry, Alex, Catherine, Juliet and Peter who were so enthusiastic and jubilant about their upcoming trip to the Island of Banoi, totally unaware of the upcoming threat and danger and how their lives were going to change forever.
