During Ominous's time as an arch imp, he had developed a method of converting his magical power into faith energy or death magic power. Faith energy, although unusable, possessed the unique ability to strengthen his body, fortify his magic heart, and played a crucial role in his wishing spell. However, the conversion rate was not very efficient; one month's worth of magical power would yield just a single day's worth of faith energy. This limitation led him to explore an alternative solution – merging his various energy sources into a singular energy type, which he termed Deadric energy. This combined energy source contained a blend of the properties from different energy types.
