Chapter Thirty-Four

"I'm a werewolf..."

Straight away Lucas picked his head up once he registered what she said. Shocked and confusion was playing on his face.

Lizzy was just silently praying for him to take it well. But boy was she wrong.

"This is no time for jokes Elizabeth!" He demanded out.

Maybe his reaction was so because he knew she was telling the truth but did not want to believe it to be true.

Lizzy took a sharp intake of breath because of the stinging sensation of the salt in her wounds and also trying not to lash out on him for not believing her because not like she can turn into her wolf and show him.

Firstly: it's too dark to see figures in this room.

Secondly: Skyler seems to be missing in action since the accident.

Lizzy has spent may days and nights like this without her wolf and she did feel lonely. But now she is in the same situation again and her wolf is gone again but strangely she does not feel lonely.

Could it possibly be because of Lucas that she does not have a whole in her heart?

"Lucas I am a werewolf and you just got to trust me on that please. Believe me."

"But how?" Lucas asked wondering how she could be a werewolf.

"Umm okay you see the world that you live in is not what you think. You are not alone and no I not talking about Aliens. I'm talking about werewolf, vampires, demons, fairies, shadows. There are so many that you don't know of. Human are not allowed to know of us because well you know you humans will broadcast it to the whole world and you will die. But since you are in this situation I guess it's alright to tell you but you have to promise not to tell anyone!"

"Who can I exactly tell right now besides the four walls huh?" He turned to look at the wall his facing.

"Lucas I'm not joking!" Lizzy said in a dead serious tone.

"Fine." He said like a small child being scolded by his mother.

"Thank you." She had a small smile.

"Now I still want to know what's going on and who is this Alpha Max."

"Its kind of a really long story."

"Well We have time and it seems we're not going anywhere anytime soon!"

She knew he was not going to give up so she told him everything.

"To sum it all up an Alpha is the highest rank and leaders in packs, then it's a luna she keeps peace and is like a mother figure to the pack. A luna is an Alphas mate. Second in charge are Beta's the third is Gamma's. The lowest are omegas. Rouges are wolfs who are not in a pack. There are many packs over the world. We are currently in the blood moon pack. My old pack is the Lunar pack but that pack is no more."

Lucas tried to intake this new set of information before asking another question.

"What happened to your pack?" He wondered what she meant by her pack is no more.

"This blood moon pack destroyed my pack. My parents were the Alpha and Luna. I was next in line to be Alpha but I could not cause my mate took me and lied to me. I am the only one from my pack that's alive. I was only little when this happend."

"What's a mate?" Lucas felt something strange when she said 'her mate.'

"A mate is your everything, your other half. It's like a soul mate for humans. Our mates are given to us when we are born, we are matched with someone perfect for us that's true mates. A mate protects you and does not want to see you hurt."

"What did he mean by so called moon goddess?" He recalled Alpha Max saying something about a moon goddess. Maybe its something to do with greek mythology he thought before.

"Well the moon goddess is someone we worship. She created us in the beginning of time. She matches mates. And she is real and the strongest of us all."

So Alpha Max was not going ballistic he thought.

"Why were we taken?" All seriousness came back. Things were going so well until they were taken.

"You are not involved in any of this. I knew it was a mistake coming to Seattle. Before I came to New York this was my life for a year."

"So you mean you were chained like this before?" He was shocked when she said that this is how she lived before. That explained the marks on her body to him when he saw her that night when they did the deed.

"Yes. From what i heared,  and I was small during this time. The blood moon pack was under attack and the Lunar pack was not able to help. So Alpha Max's parents were killed infront of him. So he grew up and trained only for revenge on my pack. He took me  and lied he said rouges attacked my pack. I lived in this pack house and made friends and went to school but everything was a lie, they hated me. They used me."

"You said you have a mate?! Who is he?" He recalled her saying she had a mate. That meant she already has someone in her life. His jealousy was making it's way out.

"Had a mate! Alpha Max."

Straight away he turned his head to look at her.

"Wait you mean you and him were supposed to be together. Than why is he like this?"

Lizzy wished things were not like this. Could she just have a loving mate.

"Yes Alpha Max is my true mate but he rejected and broke the bond." She recalled the day when he rejected her infront of the whole pack.

"He choosed someone else. He played me, took away my innocence on my eighteenth birthday." That night her whole world went dark and her last support beam collapsed.

"Since the next day he had me locked in the pack prison and i was an omega and was thrown around like dirt. That's until he took his so called Luna on their honeymoon and that's when I ran away. I went straight to the airport and came to New York where i can't be controlled andvare no packs. The rest you know."

That was alot for Lucas to take in. The pain was hurting him really badly and he needed aid.

"Because I'm back he brought me back here. You are not involved but he will hurt you to hurt me. He wants to see me brake and he enjoys it."

That explains why she had an attack on the plain when he said Seattle. She knew what was to come.

"Can we escape?" He could not help but think maybe...

"I'm not sure. I can't feel my wolf again. She's stronge cause we have Alpha blood in us but something is blocking her again. We need to find another way out."

Lizzy was beginning to miss Skyler. She needed sky when it came to their mate.

"Cole must be looking for us. I'm sure he will find us soon."  He really hoped.

"No he can't. He will only get hurt. He does not stand a chance against a wolf. Alpha Max will rip him apart. Plus the hotel we stayed at is far away from here, say two hour drive."

All hope to get out was lost. They were going to die in this place chained.

"Lucas it's only going to get worst from here. I can heal faster than you. He will kill you. I'm sorry."

He knew that he won't last long but he knew a way to help both of them and he needed to push that self front...

"Hey I promise we will get out of here. I won't let him take you away from me." He made a promise and he shall keep it. After all he knew he could.

"Lets get some rest for now. He will be back tomorrow."

The paining sensation kept going on, not stopping. How were they going to sleep with the pain?

They did not know!

The last thought on lizzy's mind was of how were they going to get out cause Lucas is not strong enough.

But before Lucas could sleep. He felt a tingle sensation on his back. It was not burning excerpt this tingle felt good.

What was the feeling he thought?
