I sat in the black love seat Asher had in his Office. Asher sat at his desk, he ran his hands through his brown hair, sitting back in his seat.
The room was silent, all you could hear was the ticking of a clock. Tick tick tick.
Finally a loud knock came from the door. I sat up, forcing my head to pay attention.
/"Come in,/" Asher's deep voice traveled across the room.
An older man with a small blond accompanying him walked into the room. He smelt like embers dying out on a beach... spice, smoke, and salt. It wasn't an unpleasant smell, reminded me of summer.
/"Young Alpha!/" The man boomed as he walked in, a smirk playing on his lips. I watched as he approached Asher's desk. They both reached out to inlock in a firm handshake. The blond stood beside the man, not making a peep.
I stood up and flashed him a brilliant smile.
