An Awkward Misunderstanding

The girl was snapped back to reality as she saw Zane staring at her with his cold black eyes. Though he was demanding to know what her name was, the two women by his side were glaring at him. She had to admit, this was indeed was a peculiar situation to be in.

Nevertheless, the young blonde woman lowered her head before answering her new master. I mean, it was not like she really had a choice, now did she?

"Angelica…"

Zane immediately shifted his focus to Elena and Olivia, almost as if Angelica was not even there, while addressing the concerns that the other two women had regarding the sudden appearance of this third beauty.

"See, her name is Angelica. She's the new slave I purchased…"

Elena and Olivia immediately became outraged. Not necessarily because Zane was partaking in a morally abhorrent practice, one that had only recently been re-founded in the United States following the beginning of the apocalypse.
