Unexpected Event

Sile became silent after seeing the sky.

Venkat took a deep breath and said, "Hey Yoma, I think this is also not a good place… the scale of the earthquake is increasing now; it is almost at 5.0 or 6.0; there is no way; this mountain can be safe after it reaches 8.0! We need to run very far from this place… hey!"

He noticed Sile was not listening to him at all and looking at the sky like he was seeing some miracle…

"What is in the sky…" he opened his mouth after looking at the things in the sky. Nine huge statue-like figures were standing in the middle of the sky! They didn't have a face; white light covered their face and whole body, only revealing their pure while hands….

"What is that?" Venkat asked after seeing something in their hands, they were crystal clear glasses which were filled with red liquid, and the cornered creature was pouring the red liquid in the middle of the air while it was also vanishing before it touched anything…

"I don't know… but that looks something dangerous as fuck…" Sile said. He couldn't tell what was happening, but his senses were telling him that he was in a messed up situation.

"Looks like we need to run…" Venkat said after looking back, animals were chasing them… more like running in the same direction as they were in

"Yes," Sile said, and they resumed their running.

BOOOOM

The whole mountain shook heavily as Sile and Venkat lost their balance.

"Damn it!" Venkat tried his best not to fall while Sile was already rolling on the ground, falling backward. However, he could hold a tree branch and stopped falling back.

Jake was also in a troublesome situation. His balance was also quivering.

Sile stood up and took a few steps; even though he could feel his body becoming heavy, it was not enough to stop him.

"Let's go" he started to run while Venkat and Jake regained their balance.

"Yoma, what do you think those things are?" Venkat asked while looking at the statues; it was not leaving his mind. It was like his Intuition was telling him something, but he couldn't understand what it was.

"Leave it for now; we can think about it after we reach a safe place," Sile said to him; he had the same feeling as him, but surviving was the most important thing now!

"Hmm," Venkat nodded, and the three of them ran deep into the forest while running towards the next town, which was not too far from them… but what they didn't know was that earthquakes were occurring all over the world, not only in his town!

Many cities near the oceans were already gone because of waterspouts. The whole world was facing many problems caused by climate changes… the satellites noticed something; the Ice in Antarctica was melting like never before… the level of the oceans was increasing, and many more cataclysms were happening in the world.

"Wrof" Jake barked and stopped running.

Sile and Venkat noticed him stopping, so they also stopped running.

"Wrof" Jake shook his head, refusing to go in that direction.

Sile and Venkat looked at each other's faces, they understood that the next town would be a dangerous place too, and they sensed the earthquake was still increasing…

"What should we do now?" Sile said he felt these actions were too abnormal…

"Maybe try to go to this side? I think there was a town on this side, too," Venkat said.

"Yeah… but do you know the route?" Sile asked; he didn't know the way to that town because it was far from his, and there was nothing essential for him to do there, so he never went to that place.

"No…" Venkat said, "But I think once we start to go there, I will remember"

"Tsk… so you mean you know it?"

"I don't know… maybe yes, we will see once we start running but wait for some time; I think we should take some damn rest; I think I will die at this rate…" Venkat sighed and sat on a rock; his legs became numb because of running too much. Even though he was a good athlete, it was too hard to do that; if not for saving his own life, he would not have done that.

Sile looked at him and sighed; however, he was cautious, he looked around, and after confirming there was no animal, he sat on a rock, taking some breath; he was in the same condition as Venkat.

Jake sat beside Venkat. He was also exhausted from running; he actually ran more than them. Because he sensed this cataclysm before them and took them here, he closed his eyes and tried to take some sleep in the rain.

Sile looked at those nine figures in the gray sky while the rain hit his head hard.

"Yoma, is this thing related to those statues? I think it is…" Venkat asked as he was also looking at those white statues…

"Who knows… but I am having the same feeling," Sile said, and he wondered what there were and what they wanted? But he couldn't find an answer for them with the limited information in his brain, and they looked like they came from a fantasy world.

Venkat sighed and closed his eyes; the rain was too heavy, and he was sure he would get sick after this.

Sile also closed his eye and rubbed his wet face with his hands.

Crack Crack

They suddenly heard cracks sound out of nowhere.

"What is that sound…" both of them opened their eyes and stood up; they saw something…

The ground had a crack between Sile and Venkat!

"Ah! Jump this side!" Sile said to him in a hurry before the crack became big.

"No, you jump this side! The other city is on this side!" Venkat said, reminding him the way.

"Oh, Shit!" Sile took a few steps back… the crack was becoming bigger and bigger.

"Fuck it, man," he said and started to run towards them; even though his mind was telling him to stop, his heart was telling him not to leave his friends.

"You can do it…" before Venkat says anything…

"Ahhhh"

Sile jumped as he got near the crack and landed on the corner of the other side; Venkat held his hands before he fell into the earth, which looked like lava was about to come out of it.

Sile smiled and stood up with his support…

"Hmm?"

Suddenly both of them noticed something wrong… their bodies were moving on to the left side on their own…? Which was opposite to the crack…

"Wrof" Jake barked as he noticed something.

Sile and Venkat turned their head to the left and saw a black hole in the middle of the air…

"It is pulling us in …" Venkat said, but it was too late… their bodies started to float and pulled in the direction of the black hole…

"Hold my hands!" Sile said, and he hugged Jake with his left and held Venkat's hand with his right hand. Jake also held Sile tightly.

Whoosh.

Before they thought of anything, they were sucked into the black hole, and the black hole vanished as it had never appeared before.
