46 Winter Solstice: Council of Gods II

"I'll just came here to be excited. Don't bore me, otherwise I'll just have to kill you all.."

Alan's words hammered at the pride of these Gods, as their expressions suddenly warped into that of anger, and their divine energies stirred within them in response.

"Let's not allow our emotions get the best of us..this could spiral into something uncontrollable.."

Odin spoke, his words soothing and comforting, possessing some sort of power that instantly calmed the rage within their hearts.

"For someone who claims to hate Heaven and the Host of Angels so much, you sure do imitate them a lot..."

Following a brief silence, a cold snort sounded out, as Alan raised a brow and turned towards the speaker.

"You must be Osiris. I heard you refused to show up when my forces attacked Egypt. How brave.."

Alan placed his hands within his pockets and walked forward, mocking the great Egyptian God without fear.

"Bastard!!"

Roaring out in fury, the Supreme Egyptian God smashed his palm onto the beautiful table the Gods sat behind, causung it to shake immensely.

"Calm yourself, Osiris. He's trying to bait you into attacking him, and the moment you do, will be the end of you. We won't be able to help.."

Odin turned towards Osiris in seriousness, grabbing the Egyptian God by the shoulder to stop him from succumbing to Alan's trap.

"Interesting..you must be Odin.."

Seeing that scene play out, Alan chuckled and then scanned Odin's body before he spoke, causing the Aesir God to frown a bit.

"You must be Amaterasu. You..your name is mouthful, I might bite my tongue in the process of trying to mention it.."

Alan then pointed to the Shintoist Goddess and the Aztec God with a slight smile, and finally he landed on Zeus.

"And you...I can sense the ever growing list within your body, and how you're trying to supress your horniness just from sitting beside her..You must be Zeus.."

"I will not allow you to insult me, demon!!"

*CRACK! CRACK!!*

*BOOM!*

In response to Alan's words, the king of Olympus instantly arose from his seat in fury, while thunder boomed within the skies.

Meanwhile, beside him, Amaterasu couldn't help but sigh and shake her head. Alan was right, the debauchery and lust of the Olympian king was something well known throughout all pantheons.

As someone possessing rather keen senses like her, how could she not notice the lustful glances he occasionally stole, and how he couldn't keep his eyes off her body.

It was disgusting and disrespectful, however she endured, as the representative of the Shintoist pantheon. She could t allow herself be swayed by mere trivial stuff.

"Enough of the games, demon. We summoned you here for a reason."

Odin spoke, his remaining eyes squinting even further.

Being the God of Wisdom and War, outsmarting opponents and defeatibg them tactically was his expertise, however in just a few sentences, Alan had sent the entire council into disarray, by preying on their ego and inadequacies.

These type of enemies were the trickiest go deal with and normally required even more strategic plans to go up against..

"We are well aware of your grudge with the Host of Heaven, however we do not understand why you attack pantheons and kill Gods.."

Amaterasu chipped in, as Alan finally flexed his shoulders, and folded his wings into his back, before smiling towards the group of Gods.

"First off, your gazes sit too high, I don't like it. Let me solve that."

The moment he spoke, a sense of foreboding rang out in the hearts of all the Gods, as the quickly disappeared in an instant.

*BANG!*

Right then and there, millions of invisible slashes swept out ripping apart and cleaving through nearly everything in its path, almost destroying the entirety of the temple of the Gods.

"Demon!!!!"

Roaring out in anger, Osiris was fed up with Alan's disrespect and exploded in fury, summoning a massive amount of divine energy within his body, which caused life and death energies to blossom around his body.

"DIE!!??"

*BOOOOMM!*

Stretching out both of his palms forward, a massive beam of black and white energies instantly blasted forward, disintegrating everything in its path.

Smiling towards the incoming attack, Alan simply stretched out his hand, and stood there, allowing the massive energy beam to collide into his body.

*BOOOOOM!*

The entirety of Olympus shook in response to the dimensions rattling attack, followed by a shockwave that startled all the Gods.

"Life and Death are quite powerful concepts to control, however, I once held that same power too, and I'm completely adapted to it..."

As the dust settled, Alan simply walked out of the explosion with his hands in his pockets before he simply teleported before Osiris, clenched his fist and punched out.

*BOOOM!*

A massive shockwave exploded forth from the point of collision, after which a powerful wave swept out in all directions, sending all four remaining Gods flying a few meters.

The next moment, the Gods couldn't help but lament, watching golden blood rain. Blood that once belonged to Osiris, the now fallen God of Egypt.

"Now, lets talk like civilized people.."

Alan waved his hand, conjuring multiple chairs around a table, to which he gestured and everyone sat down, despite the intimidation in their hearts.

"What are you? How are you so powerful?!"

After sitting in silence for a moment, Amaterasu asked, steeling her resolve and swallowing her fear.

"Good question.."

Alan responded with a small laugh, as he conjured a wine filled glass for himself and sipped a little.

"My name is Alan. I'm a human, or at least I used to be. As for how I am so strong, it's really simple, but complex at the same time.

You see every God has control over a particular concept, allowing them to affect the metaphysical.

In my case, my concept is adaptation. Each passing second, my power increases exponentially to the point where, even I can't tell my own level of strength."

Even the Gods couldn't help but frown after hearing his statement.

"As for what I want, it's easy. Millions of years ago, an unjust punishment was mete out to an innocent boy and his friend. I just want to punish those responsible for that heinous act, and you are going to fight alongside me.."

He downed his wine quickly, as he spoke, as an uncomfortable expression materializef ok his face when faded memories flashed within his mind.

"We have never agreed to help you on your suicidal quest!"

Odin slammed his spear to the ground, as his one eye glared towards Alan.

"You see, here's the thing. You're gonna have to choose between dying, just like Pharaoh, a few minutes ago, or you'll join me. It's that simple. Any method you choose will still help me accomplish my goals so choose wisely.."

Silence instantly permeated the atmosphere, with the only noise reverberating being the continual clicking of Alan's fingertips tappijg against the edge of the crystal table.

"Exactly how does killing us fulfil your goal? If you're going to go against Heaven, you'll need an army, isn't that what this whole situation is about?!"

Amaterasu spoke, while Odin nodded. With them being the actual intellectuals amongst the four of them, they dealt with Alan, while Zeus and the Aztec God listened.

"Yes and No. You see, when I actually came out of purgatory, I planned on going to kill those birds in that moment, however I learnt that they shut off their gates and have secluded themselves.

Interestingly, they relegated authority over the multiverse to the children of Khaos which includes you. So, once I get rid of all of you, and drown the mumtiverse in chaos, that should be enough for them to rear their heads once more.

So it's your choice. Honestly speaking, I'd rather you choose not to surrender. Killing all of you including those pompous buffoons you call Primordials should be exciting, though a little draining.."

Alan confessed with a small smile, as the hearts of everyone shook.

"But if you can just go about killing all of us, why not just go ahead? Why give us the second option to join you?"

This time, Zeus spoke, as his electrifying blue irises glared into Alan's own.

"You see when the battle begins, I'll go straight for the son of a bitch who trapped Samael and I and torture him in the most brutal way possible. I don't want to be distracted in that period and that's where you lot come in, to battle the other angels while I revel in his screams of pain.."

Alan's eyes shone with a blood red colour, inspiring fear in everyone present.

"Sigh. Well discuss this with the Primordials. We cannot give any reasonable answer for now, but we will after deciding with them.."

Odin spoke, and the others nodded.

"I'm giving you an ultimatum. Either join me, and we merge all pantheons into one glorified rule on Earth and battle against Heaven together, or I'll eliminate you all, both body and soul. You have three months to decide.."

Alan disappeared the moment he finished his statement, as the Gods finally relaxed their guards and gwaved deep sighs.
