19 Absolute Immortality

"Your eyes, you hair, your skin. You feel different.."

Lilith's eyes unscrupulously scanned Alan's body, before she uttered, drawing a smile from the youth.

Offering his hand, she took it and arose from the ground.

"Anyway, my name is Lilith, wife of Adam. The first glorified creatures formed by the hand of the creator himself, from the dust of the earth….or so my husband says.."

She smiled and gave a long introduction of herself, to which Alan furrowed his brows.

'Lilith? Interesting..'

He smiled inwardly, but still maintained the stoic facade.

"The first glorified creatures by the hand of the creator himself? That would be the Angels. I mean they are his own flesh and spirit after all. You guys are humans like me."

Alan corrected as Lilith frowned a little.

"That's not what my husband said.." She shook her head in denial, firmly believing her husband's words.

"Well, who cares what your husband says? Definitely not me. I've been around before you guys were even made by the creator, so I think it would make sense to believe me."

Alan laughed and took a seat on a small rock, as Lilith watched his every gesture, as if trying to detect the lies in his words.

"Anyway, if you're Lilith then this must be Eden?" Alan asked and then turned to look at her to which she nodded with a smile.

"Yes. This beautiful garden was made by the creator himself for our own pleasure.."

She sounded like a tour guide, as Alan merely nodded.

"That explains a lot. But anyway, something's been bothering me for a while now."

Alan scratched his hair and and forcefully kept his eyes off the giant pair of tits.

"You can ask whatever you want." Lilith smiled and said.

"Why are you naked?..Like doesn't it bother you to be walking around in public with your umm, your massive properties?"

Alan gulped uncontrollably and asked with the most stern expression he could muster.

"I do not know what being naked means, and what are my massive properties?"

Lilith innocently asked in confusion, while Alan shook his head.

"It's fine. Why don't you uhh show me around here."

He stood up and stretched his waist lazily, before he and Lilith walked into the inner parts of the garden.

.

"The garden is divided into four sections, by the four great rivers. Adam and I call those sections the North, West, East and Southern sections. Amongst all of the sections, the only forbidden is the Northern section which contains the two divine trees, the tree of Life which you have desecrated and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil."

As they walked through the garden, Lilith explained, while Alan listened and merely perked up his brows when she mentioned that the Northen part was forbidden.

"So if the northern part was forbidden, then what were you doing there?"

Alan nonchalantly asked, and immediately Lilith halted in her steps.

"I was searching for something I lost." She cleared her throat and acted naturally, not even blinking once. To the ordinary person, it looked as if she was telling the truth, Alan couldn't help but furrow his brows.

"You're lying." He stated, as Lilith turned to watch him. Even he didn't know how he knew she was lying. He just could tell from watching her expression, as if he could see through her heart and soul.

'Could it be a new ability?'

He pondered on it and took his mind off the topic. Not that he cared though.

"Anyway, as I was saying-"

She was about to continue explaining the sections of the garden when she suddenly stopped, seeing the angry figure standing before them.

"What in the name of the creator are you doing with this filth, Lilith?!"

A golden haired naked man angrily barked, before he walked towards them and forcefully grabbed Lilith's arm and wanting to distance her from the filthy creature in his eyes.

"And who are you?"

Alan asked and grabbed Lilith's other arm, preventing her from being taken away from him.

"Let go of her you lowly creature, I am Adam. Firstborn of the creator!!"

The man known as Adam roared while Alan merely raised a brow and turned spoke no further, making his intentions clear just from his actions.

"It's alright, Alan. I will see you later. Hopefully."

Lilith smiled towards Alan and wrestled her arm out of his grasp, before she and Adam left into the deeper regions of the garden.

Shaking his head, Alan walked back where he came from, to the outskirts of the garden and sat on a small rock.

*SWOOSH!*

About a few minutes later, a handsome figure dropped down from the heavens and folded his wings behind him, watching Alan sitting alone on the small rock with a smile on his face.

"Oi, where have you been all this time? Did it not even bother you at all to come see me?"

Without turning around, Alan instinctively knew who it was. Part of the reason being due to the fact that he knew Samael very well. The other part was that, he had some way somehow, seen him before he had entered the earth's atmosphere.

"I was busy with pressing matters." Samael walked forward towards Alan, about to take a seat near him when he stopped in surprise.

"You've changed, Alan." Samael walked with before him with his hands behind his back and examined his friend carefully.

"What do you mean? I'm still the same old Alan you fell in love with hehehe."

Alan joked, as Samael reeled in disgust and shook his head in annoyance.

"That's not what I meant. Your essence, it feels different, beyond mortality. What happened to you?"

Samael asked in confusion.

"Well, I got beaten up and killed by your little sister's servant and then I awoke in this garden, met a naked woman and a man and ate some sweet tasting fruits that is supposedly forbidden by the creator and from some tree of life."

He summarised everything and delivered in one breath.

"I know what happened with my sister. I apologize. But I already took care of it."

Samael nodded and patted his shoulder.

"It's alright buddy. Now I know when you meant not a chance with your sister you were doing it to protect me."

Alan sighed, before flashing him a gentle smile.

"But moving onto pressing matters, my father has finally made humans and has placed them in this garden, with the tree of life in the very centre of it. Even I don't know what his plan is by placing two divine trees in the midst of mortality."

Samael placed his hands on his chin, thinking for a bit before he shook his head.

"The tree of life is known to break the shackles of mortality to grant eternal life and youth to whomever consumes it."

He looked towards Alan and spoke, while the youth perked up his ears and listened.

"So you mean I'm immortal now?" Alan asked, clearly not surprised by the answer .

"I'm afraid it's more than that, my friend. Not even the eternal life granted by the fruits of the tree of life can cause the changes that are happening in your body."

He spoke and paced around for a bit.

"Hmm. There's only one way to do this."

*BOOM!*

Samael spoke and held out his finger, as a mass of pure concentrated demiurgic force materialised. Space and reality shook, as dark clouds materialised in the sky, along with streaks of lightning.

*BANG!*

The small orb of demiurgic power ripped through space and time and smashed into Alan's body and exploded, sending out a massive burst of energy that ripped through the void.

A few moments later, a figure was seen standing in the void with his arms crossed and brows furrowed, wondering in deep thought.

Where the entire galaxy that housed the planet Earth should've been located was now filled with multiple singularities within the void.

Meanwhile, the only thing left of Alan was the golden dharma wheel that faced Samael in the void, clearly unharmed by reality destroying power.

"How is this possible?!"

The next moment, Samael roared out in surprise for the first time in eons, seeing Alan's body slowly reform in the void, not due to any adaptation from the wheel, but rather from his own ability.

"No being in the universe should be able to survive a point blank explosion of demiurgic power to the face. Not even immortals can survive that!"

Samael wondered in shock, as Alan reappeared with a shocked expression looking around in the void and searching for earth.

"What happened? Where is the earth?" He wondered and turned towards his friend.

"What have you done, Alan. This is not eternal life. What is it? What did you do?Is it another of wheel's power?"

Samael wondered, but Alan shook his head

"I don't know, I just gobbled up a few of the fruits of the tree of life." He shrugged innocently, watching the expression of the archangel go from shock to fear in an instant.

"You did what?!!!!"

Samael's voice resounded throughout the void as the expression of shock and a bit of fear became even more apparent.

"No. This is impossible. The fruits of the divine tree of life have such potent essence that even my brother and I nearly died from ingesting one of them. How could you have ingested a few?"

Samael wondered, while Alan raised a brow.

"So you destroyed an entire galaxy just to find that out? Come on. I only ate a few, I mean I was really hungry and there was nothing else to eat."

"You don't realise the gravity of the situation, do you? If ingesting one of the fruits of the tree of life grants eternal life, what do you think ingesting 'a few' would do to you?"

Alan was trying to defend himself innocently, however the gravity of the situation was immense.

"I don't know make me more handsome?" He joked, but cleared his throat and stood silently, watching Samael's stoic face not reacting to his joke.

"Absolute immortality, Alan. A being that's cursed by Death. With the exception of my father, no one has gained access to this ability. Eternal life is endless, but an eternal being can still be killed by other means. But you, Alan cannot. It won't matter if your soul is erased, or the very concept of your existence is erased, you will not die. Someday if the multiverse is to be destroyed with me and everything within it, gone forever, you still will not die. That is the gravity of it."

Samael's tone was ominous, as if he was telling a midnight story. He snapped his fingers and returned everything to the way it was previously, as he walked to Alan and sat beside him.

"Well, I mean. It's not really much of a big deal if you think about it. I just gained a power to not die."

Alan scoffed while Samael turned to look at him.

"There are fates worse than death, Alan, and having eternal life makes those fates all the more dreadful."

Samael shook, taking in a deep breath and calming himself.

"I trust that you'll put in a good word for me with Daddy up there so he spares me from such fates, right buddy?"

Alan patted Samael's shoulder with a smile as the archangel turned to look at him for a moment and then laughed, a phenomenon that was quite rare.

"You know, I thought my abilities revolved around my eyes, you know due to how it looks and how much I can see now. For a moment there I thought I was an Uchiha."

Alan sighed with a downcast expression while Samael shook his head and rolled his eyes.

"Abilities won't just activate by themselves unless their passive, like wheel's adaptation and your immortality. Try sending a stream of the endless life energy within your body to your eyes and see what happens?"

Samael chuckled, and guided, as Alan nodded and did as he said.

As he channeled the life force within his body, he began to glow like the sun.

'It's as if his body is some sort of cosmic life force energy generator, endlessly producing within him energy.'

Samael thought, watching Alan in wonder.

"Wow…it's as if the world is made up of different colours. Woah wait wait! I can see the subatomic particles of everything! I can see it all!! No wait! It's like I'm seeing the true essence of everything! There's more!! I can see the life force coursing through the atoms of each living thing!!

The world in its purity! But I can also see dark lines attached to life. It's like some form of death line connected to every single thing!!"

Samael watched Alan roar in fascination with a smile. Having the power to see everything was thrilling at first, but it grew boring with time. His ears however perked up when Alan mentioned death lines.

'Life and Death are intertwined. I guess having the power of life makes him susceptible to death the most.' Samael thought for a moment, but then he saw Alan conjure a sword in hand and walk to a tree.

*SLASH!*

Simply waving his sword, Alan cut through one death line attached to a tree and all of a sudden the tree was instantly slashed by an invisible force, crashed to the ground, decayed and disappeared almost instantly.

Samael was a bit surprised, but Alan was ecstatic.

'Hold on! Isn't this the ability of the mystic eyes?! How the hell did I end up acquiring this power?!'

He stood in shock for a moment, lost in thought.
