Then, Dio suddenly stood up from the chair and pushed it towards the table.

"Since you can't train me, there's nothing more to say. Let's go, Diana."

Diana clearly found my behavior strange, but she remained silent and also stood up.

"Thank you for the tea and hospitality, Zatanna."

Diana said.

Meanwhile, Zatanna stayed still in her chair while the two of us made our way to the exit.

"Wait, aren't you going to try to persuade me again?"

Zatanna asked as she finally came to her senses.

"I can certainly try to come up with a bunch of reasons, but it would be a lie, and you understand that perfectly."

Dio replied.

"Isn't that how people usually act to get what they want?"

Zatanna asked again and looked somewhat sad.

"I'm not going to lie. I don't rule out the possibility that I could lose myself studying necromancy, but that chance can be reduced if you become my teacher."

Dio said.

Zatanna stared into my eyes, and Dio held his ground, then she closed her eyes and turned her body forward.

He was a bit disappointed that his idea didn't work, but then she turned around and tossed the book he left on the table to me.

Dio caught it in mid-air and looked at her again.

"Your lessons will begin tomorrow evening. I want you to have this book memorized by tomorrow."

Zatanna said and turned her face to him.

Diana and Dio tried not to jump for joy as they left the house with a big smile on their faces. She talked to him as we walked up the steps and onto the yard.

"That was smart of you to tell her the truth and not try to trick her. The people she had relationships with before broke up with her because they lied and manipulated her."

"True, I'm glad it worked out,"

Diana said it sincerely.

'There wasn't much information in my memories about Zatanna, but I knew she had a boyfriend in the comics, a magician, a trickster, and a liar named Constantine. '

A lot of paintings hang on the walls of her living room, and on a small shelf, there are pictures of her with Constantine.

He could think they were still together, but his head in the photo was torn off, and Dio recognized him only by his unusual clothing.

Dio thought that the reason they broke up was pretty much the same as in the comics.

Constantine lied to her and did something stupid.

He thought that she wouldn't agree to a request that wasn't completely serious based on these words.

Dio said to Diana when she increased her flight speed to almost maximum.

Diana asked and slowed down her flight speed.

"The problem isn't with me but with Vanessa."

Dio replied.

"You're talking about her issues with her mother and you?"

"Her relationship issues are just signs of the real problems, and one of them is you."

"Me!?"

She was so surprised that she almost dropped me when she tried to look me in the eyes.

"Not just you; I'm also part of this."

Dio began to explain.

"What do you mean?"

Diana asked.

Dio told her the reason behind Vanessa's behavior.

Diana didn't react well when she found out that she had become a part of the reason why someone she considered family was acting that way.

"I was stupid. I didn't realize that this whole problem was my fault. All I can do now is apologize to Vanessa for not understanding her feelings and try to make things right."

Diana said it sadly.

"I don't think that's right, Diana."

"It is."

"Apologizing, yes, but it won't solve the main problem—the issue with Julia."

"I'm also going to talk to her and try to convince her to take time off from work to spend time with her daughter. It may slightly improve the situation."

Then they stopped talking, and Diana continued to fly. Her smile disappeared, and she became thoughtful.

'I think Diana needs to step aside for a while to give mother and daughter time to be together, but I won't say that now.'

On the other hand, sorcerers use artifacts to make their magical abilities stronger and lower the risk of casting powerful spells.

The artifact they use has an enormous impact on how strong they are.

Another type of magician is one with magical blood flowing in their veins, such as half-demons.

The theoretical part was very interesting, but curiosity made Dio temporarily forget about it and focus all his attention on the useful part.
