Chapter 73: Judgment

"It's time for judgment." Faora spoke coolly. She doesn't care about Gaia's words; she doesn't care if it's Cythonna's reincarnation or not. Faora just cared about Rao and the Kryptonians who needed a new home. She doesn't have time to waste with an delusional goddess who is the same age as Earth.

* Crack! Crack! *

Faora smashes the head of Artemis she was holding and tosses the goddess's head in Athena's direction!

Athena uses her spear and cuts Artemis's head in pieces; she didn't have time to feel sorry for a goddess who has died. She needs to live; she needs to kill that monster that is coming towards her.

"You, without the blade of Olympus, are nothing to fear." Athena snorted and attacked Faora with her spear; she shows a satisfied smile when she sees that her spear will reach Faora's head, but what happens next leaves Athena shocked.

Faora shows a small smile and suddenly Faora's image disappears. "And you are very proud of a goddess who has fought a few wars." She spoke in a cold tone that sent a shiver down Athena's spine.

"Cough!" Athena coughs up golden blood, she looks down and sees that the blade of the Harpe has gone through her stomach.

'Shit, when did she show up behind me? Are all Kryptonians as fast as Rao? ' Athena asked herself confused; she was sure she hit Faora's Head.

"I lived my entire life on the battlefield, but you ... You just fought a few times and relaxed the rest of the time. You got weak." She whispers in Athena's ears.

"You ... You don't know anything about me !!" Athena roared.

Faora shows a small smile and pulls the Harpe from Athena's stomach!

"AHHHHHHHHH!" Athena cried out in pain.

When Faora goes to behead Athena, the land around Mount Olympus begins to shake.

Suddenly the earth covers Athena in a cocoon as if it were protecting her. Faora tries to cut the rocks to kill Athena, but her senses warn her of the danger!

* BOOOOOOOM! *

With an impulse in the feet, Faora quickly flies towards the sky.

Soon she can see all the land around Mount Olympus moving as if it were alive and in the middle of it all was a green-haired goddess who wielded a golden staff that was shining with a green light:

"I didn't want it to end like this, but I think this is inevitable; I couldn't be an ally of a god who kills my children." Gaia said. She had a serious look on her face.

Behind Gaia was Rhea who had a dejected expression and Athena who had a hole in her stomach that was being healed by Gaia. Slowly, the earth begins to protect the traitor goddesses and gods who are still alive, so Gaia can no longer be seen anywhere.

Faora looks at everything with a neutral eye.

"My Queen, Do not underestimate Gaia. Although she is not a combatant; she is still a prime entity. " Hades appeared beside Faora and alerted her.

Nyx and Metis appear alongside Faora.

"Nyx, can you kill her?" Faora asked.

"Yes, I can. But, she needs to be off Earth; while Gaia is on Earth, she is invincible." Nyx spoke in a cold tone.

Faora nods at Nyx's words: "Any advice, Metis?" she asked.

Metis looks at the cocoon that Gaia created: "Gaia is quite a coward; she will not show herself without being sure that she will win ... You have to lure her into a trap."

"I see." Faora starts to think about all the cards she currently has. Suddenly Faora raises her hands towards Gaia: "I, Faora, as the queen of Olympus; I declare Gaia as a traitor and strip her of all her divinity. " She spoke with a voice that could move worlds; she was using her authority as a queen.

But nothing happened...

"The authority of the queen and king of Olympus is quite useful, but that authority only works if you are close to the target." Metis commented. After all, she also had that authority once in the past.

"Yes, I know. But, it never hurts to try." Faora spoke while lowering her hands. She uses her X-ray vision and looks for Gaia and the goddesses that are being protected by her, but she can't find it.

Faora observes that the earth around Olympus was beginning to become sharper; it was as if the ground was a death trap of giant thorns. She raised her eyebrows, a little curious, but she felt there was something wrong; she saw the pointed thorns on the floor, but she felt an incongruity with the situation.

Suddenly these thorns start to be thrown towards Faora!

Faora deflects at high speed from the thorns.

Hades repeats the same action as Faora.

Nyx lightly touches Metis' shoulders and soon the two 'disappear' from existence. They are still there, but at the same time, they are not.

The projectiles pass through Nyx and Metis' body, but nothing happens.

This was Nyx's divinity. As the entity of the night, she can hide so that a being who is not powerful enough cannot feel her existence; it is as if she is in another dimension where she is untouchable.

Faora saw this and thought: 'She has a problematic divinity; should I remove it?'

Faora is a little annoyed with the thorns that keep coming from the earth.

Faora's eyes start to emit a red glow, then a beam of red light comes out of Faora's eyes!

* BOOOOOOOOOOOM! *

The beam of light destroyed all the thorns that came towards the group. The beam of light penetrated the earth deeply, but it did not manage to advance very far. The defense of Gaia was very strong and soon new thorns started to be made and launched towards Faora.

Faora frowned when she saw this. 'This is going to be problematic.' She thought as she dodged Gaia's attacks.
