55 Chapter 69: Divine form.
"Arrogant as always." Gaia spoke with a loving smile.
Rao takes his attention off of Thanatos and looks at Gaia. "Don't talk like you know me, I'm not the Rao you met."
Gaia's smile broke and looked at Rao again. She looked coldly, but then she swallowed when she felt Rao's pressure falling all over her.
Rao slowly flies towards Gaia then he lightly caresses Gaia's face: "I am me, I am not the old Rao... Don't get confused again."
Gaia's face burns when she comes into contact with Rao's hands, but she doesn't cry out in pain; she just looks at Rao.
"You are right, you are not the old Rao." She spoke with absolute certainty, it was as if an illusion had been broken.
Rao shows a small smile and stops stroking Gaia's face.
"The old Rao would never treat me that way ..." She grunted a little annoyed as she caressed her burnt face but, as if it were all a lie, her face started to heal.
Rao smiled coldly at Gaia. He looks at Thanatos then a few seconds later, he looks at the titans.
* BOOOOOOOOOM !! *
Rao suddenly disappears in a sonic boom.
The gods present only looked to the horizon for Rao, but soon they saw a vision that shocked them.
"Hmm ... I can't control my speed." Rao spoke in a neutral tone, he looked at the titan with an open stomach. He was slightly surprised by his current strength; he managed to open a titan's belly with just his speed!
* BOOOOOOOOOM! *
The Titan fell to the ground but he was not dead, he was just incapacitated and he would soon recover.
Thanatos finally wakes up from his stupor and looks at Rao. "Attack!" He commanded in a cold voice.
The Titans soon began to attack Rao.
A titan covered in lava and volcanic stones attacked Rao with a punch.
Seeing the huge fist coming towards him, Rao swings the blade of Olympus!
"AHHHHHHHH!" A titan's cry of pain can be heard by everyone.
* BOOOOM! *
A huge arm of volcanic stones falls to the ground.
Gaia and Rhea just turned their heads; they didn't like to see their brothers and relatives being harmed by Rao. But they can't do anything now, they know they have no chance of beating the current Rao.
"Damn it! Zeus!! Why did you create this sword !? " Thanatos lamented. If he had possession of the blade of Olympus this war would not be necessary, but he lost his chance. He was thinking of using this war to secretly invade the treasure room of Olympus; he wanted to steal the blade of Olympus!! But everything went wrong!! That damn foreigner invaded Olympus and took the throne that was supposed to be his!!
And to make matters worse, Hera the queen of Olympus betrayed Zeus!! She gave that foreign god the blade of Olympus!!
"Use your divinities!! Don't approach Rao!! " Thanatos ordered.
A titan made of just water attacked Rao with his divinity. "Die!"
Rao looked around, but nothing was happening. When he was going to attack the titan made of water, he started to feel vibrations.
* Tremors! * * Tremors! * * Tremors! *
He looked at the horizon and a gigantic tsunami was approaching Mount Olympus!
"Hey ... this is bad, right?" Hermes spoke.
All the goddesses looked at Hermes as if he were a fool, they ignored the screams of the lesser gods who were being killed, tortured, and imprisoned by Hades.
"Hmm, I think everything is fine." Hera spoke with a smile on her face as she looked at the sky.
All the gods present followed the direction Hera was looking at and saw a giant sun.
"Fuck, does he want to kill us all?" Dionysus complained, he could withstand a simple tsunami. After all, he could fly; all the Olympian gods could fly. He also knows that entities like Gaia and Nyx can defend everyone from Olympus easily with their divinity.
But a star? This is crazy.
Rao looks at the titan whose body is just water with neutral eyes: "Only one goddess in my entire existence managed to fight me with the water element, she was a goddess in my pantheon." He spoke in a neutral tone.
Rao points his finger at the water titan, "And you are not at her level."
The star that was standing in the air suddenly flew at high speed towards the water titan.
"What did you say!? Are you comparing me to that crazy one!? " The titan shouted angrily, apparently he knew who Rao was talking about.
"Oceanus!! Move yourself!! "Thanatos ordered.
"It's too late." Rao spoke.
The star hits Oceanus' face.
* BOOOOOOOOOM! *
An explosion of heat happened, if this fight had not happened on another existential plane; Rao was sure that Earth would have suffered great damage now.
The sun swallowed the titan. He tried to escape or defend himself using his divinity, but it was useless. Everything in front of the sun is only destined to become ashes.
Soon the tsunami evaporated as if it had not existed.
Rao controls the energy of the sun and prevents it from spreading too much. "Come back." He orders, and soon all the energy that has been spread by his attack begins to return towards his body.
He looks towards the water titan and sees a tall, bearded man that was seriously injured.
"Oceanus ..." Rhea was sorry to see her brother in that state, but she wasn't the only one.
"Father, you fool ..." Metis also mourned for her father.
The titans are a fundamental piece in the Olympus story, it was because of them that the current gods were born. Because of that, the titans are basically the elders of Olympus.
Zeus knew this, and because of that he just killed his father with the blade of Olympus and locked up all the titans who revolted in Tartarus, he did it so as not to light flames of vengeance.
And Rao? He is aware of this connection, but he is not going to do like Zeus who just locked the titans.
Rao flies towards Oceanus and stops just above him.
Oceanus wakes up and looks up, the first thing he saw was the divine figure of Rao. In a stunned state he raises his hands to the sky, he looks like a lost son seeking his father's help.
"I, Rao, as the king of Olympus, remove all divinities from the being known as Oceanus. " He declared in a neutral voice that he had the authority to move worlds.
Soon the world obeyed Rao. Slowly, Oceanus's divinity slowly accumulated in Rao's hands.
Gaia, Metis and Rhea just looked at this action with relief. When removing the divinity from Oceanus he will still be alive, but he will be a powerless being.
Unlike entities that when their divinities are stolen return to the source of their power, the titans and gods who already have flesh become ordinary humans.
Soon Oceanus's divinity was in Rao's hand, and an ordinary human was standing in front of Rao.
Rao lifts his finger and the human known as Oceanus begins to float; with a finger movement, the man's body flies towards Olympus.
Metis quickly flies towards Oceanus and catches the old man in her arms.
Metis looks at Rao and sees him looking at her.
Metis nods in gratitude, she'll make sure to keep an eye on her father.
Rao didn't need to say anything, his intentions were very clear; he left Oceanus alive as a powerless human. In a way, this was the most terrible punishment for these titans who were used to being powerful. Now they will be weaker than their own grandchildren, they will be just ordinary humans; aged humans with no power.
