18 Chapter 20: The legacy of an intelligent man.

Standing in front of a holographic device, I start making modifications to the first helmet I designed. Initially, I thought about making a helmet-shaped protection, but I realized that I was limiting my options.

With a hand gesture, I broke the holographic helmet to pieces and left only the main device that protects the mind from telepathic attack.

Studying a little bit about the device, I discovered a few things. The principle of this technology is quite simple. It creates a force field around the user's head that prevents any form of energy from passing through and causing damage to the user's mind.

Despite being simple, it is very difficult to apply in practice. After all, this type of helmet prevents communication between two people through technology, because of this flaw that the ancient Kryptonians used this helmet only when they would personally meet with races who had the ability to use telepathy.

Krypton's technology has evolved over time, this kind of problem no longer exists, I just have to redo the design of the device and amplify the protection capacity.

By doing this, the helmet gains a 100% increase in efficiency compared to the old one.

Finishing making the technological adjustments, I start to design a new design, I am planing something simple like a crystal that is attached to the armor, casual clothes, etc.

I begin to modify the structure of the device, and soon a small blue crystal is formed on the hologram.

[My Lord, the efficiency of the technology has increased by 100%, it is quite manageable in any Kryptonian outfit. Should I make the necessary adjustments to the clothes and armor produced in the future?]

"There is no need, I made the design so that it can be used immediately, just start producing the crystal." I say to the artificial intelligence.

[Affirmative, My Lord.]

Thinking about it, this is an opportunity. "Start a new project." I say for artificial intelligence.

[Affirmative. My Lord, what is the name of the project?]

I pull up the hologram again and get the basic design of the Kryptonian armor. I hear someone trying to contact me, but I ignore it.

Looking at the armor hologram in front of me, I give a small smile. "Kryptonian solar armor project."

...

"What is the Lord doing?" Non asked curiously.

Faora looked at Rao. "He is creating new armor."

"Hmm." Non put his hand on his chin and started to think deeply about something.

Faora ignores Non, she gets up and clicks some buttons on her armor. "General Zod."

General Zod's image appears on a hologram. "Faora, where is the emperor, I cannot contact him."

Faora looks at Rao. "He's busy right now." She responds.

"I see, he must have ignored the communicator." Zod deduces. "Faora, inform the emperor that we need his attention on a matter."

Faora raises her eyebrow a little. "What do you need to report to him?"

Zod looks at Faora silently, he was wondering whether to tell her or not, but when he remembered what Faora and Rao's relationship was, he said:

"Through the study of the Kal-El spacecraft, we found a signal that leads to the north of the planet Earth. That signal is Kryptonian, looking at the image of the place, we found a Krypton spacecraft." Zod sends the images of the place location to Faora.

Faora opens her eyes a little, but soon her expression returns to the usual cold. "Is it possible that this is the work of Jor-El?"

"Knowing that man, I think it's quite possible. Before he became that ... he was a very intelligent man, he must have sent something to help his son on this barbarian planet."

"This is strange ... Why can't we find this ship with our scanners?" Faora asked.

"Jor-El is a great inventor, maybe he created something to interfere with scanners?" Zod spoke.

"Probably ..." Faora said while thinking about it. "I will inform Rao."

"Good. Currently, this is classified information. Only a few people know about it, I hope it stays that way. " Zod hangs up.

Faora frowned a little at Zod's warning, she understands that this is important information. After all, Jor-El would not send something useless to his son. Whatever Jor-El sent to this planet, this must to be quite important, because of that, Zod classified this information as confidential.

What Faora didn't like was Zod's warning tone.

One thing that Faora didn't realize is that Zod always spoke to her like that, after all, she was his subordinate. Zod hasn't changed, she is changing, and she didn't like Zod's attitude towards her.

Faora spent a few minutes thinking about this discomfort she felt, but as she was not finding the cause of this sensation, she decided to stop thinking about it.

...

Finishing making the first model of the solar armor, I realize that I spent a lot of time on this project, I must fulfill my duties.

"My Lord, to there is something that requires your attention." Faora said as she approached me.

I look at her and say, "Continue."

"Through studies of the Kal-El spacecraft, we found a Kryptonian signal north of the planet Earth. Images from the location show that the signal came from a Kryptonian spacecraft." Faora clicks on a few buttons on her armor and soon I get an image.

I frown a little when I see this. "Jor-El ..." Looks like he wouldn't let his son go to a barbaric planet without extra protection, huh?

First, he sent Kara Zor-El as protection for his son. Leaving aside this girl's ability to protect a baby, she is still smart and with her Kryptonian genetics, she might be able to protect herself on this planet.

Apparently not satisfied, Jor-El sent something else to protect his son. Was he that concerned about his son? How did he get enough time to send something that big to this planet?

The time it took him to evacuate Kal-El, the time it took him to steal the codex with me, the time it took him to prepare Kal-El on a small ship, the time to destroy Krypton ...

It doesn't make sense, the time is too short, something is not right. With the information I currently have, I can only think that he knew for a long time that the planet of Krypton would explode and with that information in hand, he did made preparations to save Kal-El.

I contact General Zod.

"My Lord?"

"How long will it take for the terraformation of Mars to be ready?" I ask.

Zod looks somewhere and then he turns his attention back to me. "Taking into account the structure of the planet and how that will change when the operation begins, I think that in six months the planet Mars will become Krypton."

Six months ... this is a short time ... Usually, this process is long. I think the time has been reduced because of the size of planet Mars, after all, it is smaller compared to the ancient Krypton and the other planets that Krypton terraformed to over the ages.

"Keep up the good work and prepare a ship for me, I will go to this location. The group will be composed of me, Faora, Non and five more Kryptonians." I hang up and start walking towards the exit.

I look at Litha for a moment. "Faora, include your disciple in this mission." Let's see what capabilities she is hiding.

Knowing Jor-El, he set deadly traps on this ship, after all, he was a smart man. I can use these traps to see Litha's capabilities.

"Yes, My Lord."
