"Yes"

[Generating skills....complete]

[Fire Nova]  [Ice Spear]  [Lighting]  [Grand Fissure]  [Hurricane] [Radiant Spear]  [Dark Chains]  [Repulsive Blast]

Hmm...i see [Fire Nova] is a more powerful version of [Fireball], same with [Dark Chains], the other ones are for the other elements. I need variety in my skills, so I will go for [Lighting], hit hard and fast, [Ice Spear], and for last, I think I will choose [Repulsive Blast].

Are you sure you want to choose those skills?

"Yes"

[Confirmed]

As for my attributes, I have 24 points, so I will go with 4 into [body], 15 into [mind], and 5 into [soul]. i decide to abandon [luck] and [faith]. After all, these are attributes that I don't need for now.

Now it's time to get revenge on those damn goblins; I will burn their settlement to the ground.

*********

All this hate began when I first tried the dungeon [Goblin Settlement] at LV 15. I was confident to complete it the same way I completed [Dark Cavern], whose only difficulty was the lack of space and visibility, but after I completed it, I receive the skill [Dark Vision], which allowed me to see in the dark, so now it was a walk in the park.

So with my overconfidence, I challenge the dungeon. My plan was simple: to summon the golem, making him taunt the enemies, and then I would rain terror from somewhere safe. Not of that happened; in the first place, those bastards had limited intelligence, but it's still there, and I paid the price for my foolishness.

In the first 20 minutes into the dungeon, I got myself surrounded by them. I thought that my golem was dead, but no, my golem was still fighting, which means there are a lot more goblins than I imagine, and they use that to their advantage.

I tried to make space by running or using my staff as a blunt weapon, but it didn't work. I got jumped by 10 goblins who began to bite, slash, and hit all my body. The pain was unbearable, but luckily I passed out before anything more traumatic happened. I couldn't sleep well for 3 days.

Now I'm in a clearing of some forest with a settlement burning brightly in front of me. I can still hear my golem going on a rampage; the joy I felt when I was killing goblins and destroying that settlement is now gone. I looked past the immediate danger, and now I see clear: this was a place they called home.

I can see the bodies of the goblins, some male, some female, and some too small to tell, but I know what they are. In my mind, I was asking over and over again what I've done.

When I finally came to my senses, I was in my bedroom. I see the blue screen in front of me, and although it felt real, it was not. That was just a memory of a place far away from here.

***********

It has been 4 days since I finished the dungeon. I didn't try another time. I just keep going to school, helping on the farm, and reading in my club.

"Are you ok?" That's the question my brother is asking me. We are currently fixing some fences on the border of the farm.

"To be completely honest, no. I experienced something bad, or more like, I feel like I did something bad."

"Did you regret it?"

"I...I don't know. On one side, I know I need it to do it, and on the other, I question why it has to be that way."

"Doing what you think it's the best...it's the only thing we can do. We can also ask others for advice, but at the end of the day, it's you who decide what to do".

"Thanks, brother".

"Any time I'm here, you know, we're family, you can ask for help".

"Hey brother"

"Yeah?"

"When are you going to ask Lana out?"

I only hear a crack. The wooden pole broke, and I reinforced that thing.

**********

It has been a year since I completed that dungeon, and I completed it again many times after that. Clark, my brother, is finally graduating this year, and another shocking news is that Lana and Clark are a couple now. According to him, I helped him make his mind about her.

Unfortunately, some things are not meant to be. On the day of the prom, the plan that Clark had in his head was thrown out the window.

POV: Clark Kent

I'm finally graduating this year, and I also confessed my feelings to Lana, and she said yes, I couldn't believe that it was that easy to do this; every day it was amazing, although for some reason Chloe didn't like that. Pete, on the other hand, congratulated me, saying that I finally had the girl of my dreams, and it's true.

Today was the last day of school for us. Lana and I were discussing prom night, and when I got home, I saw my mom and dad chatting in the kitchen.

"I'm home"

"Oh hi, darling, how was school?"

"Good mom"

"Are you going with Lana tonight?"

"Yes, dad, we discuss where to see us."

"Clark, remember to use protection."

"Jonathan!!"

"What? Come on, Martha, don't be naive; he is a healthy boy and needs to experience life."

Mom just began to hit my father in the shoulder, and my father just began to laugh hard. That's when I heard my brother.

"When is the wedding?"

(Sigh.) They really like to tease me; I just grab my bag and proceed to go to my room. I had nothing better to do, so I went to the barn when it happened.

[aknoidxocinolivnoeivo]

A voice began to scream to me loudly inside my head; it was so loud that I began to grab my head with my hands, and the pain forced me to kneel down on the ground. Then,  for a moment, it stopped.

[Kal-El, the time has come to fulfill your destiny, child.]
