4 CHAPTER 4: EMERGENCY EXIT 2/2

Krypto didn't hesitate to follow me either, apparently, the door to the elevator is getting closer, and we can't stop for a second. wait...

What is that yellow silhouette, it looks like a lightning bolt, shit it will be another one of the monsters, Krypto growled again, he must be ready to attack, I still have the gun, although I find it hard to hold it tightly as my hands don't stop shaking.

P.O.V ROBIN

"GUYS WE ARRIVED AT THE ELEVATOR, kid flash take guardian to the elevator on the left we will cover you, I leave some bombs on the G-troll's back, at least enough to knock it down and take away one of the biggest problems so we can get out safely.

"Activating the bombs, the G-troll fell a few seconds later letting out a grunt of pain that further upset the genomorphs and now they move more violently, some clones were crushed by the G-troll's body, not many, but at least they are one less clone to fight.

"Guys apparently there is someone else alive, it's a guy who is running towards the elevator with a dog...what is flying?, I'll leave the guardian and try to help him, it looks like they are injured."

"Ok kid flash, then we'll interrogate that kid, Robin cover the right side, I'll take care of the ones on the left."

I lasso my explosive birdarangs on some of the G-Elves, while I take care of three of the defective clones in close combat and long distance with my extendable staff that I manage to recover after taking down guardian, Kaldur is fighting against almost the same amount, while the other genomorphs and defective clones fight to the death against each other.

As soon as Wally reports that the guardian and that guy with his pet or whatever that is are safe we'll make a way to get to them and flee.

"AAARGH!"

Shit, Wally got hit, did one of the genomorphs or clones get away and we didn't notice, impossible, we've been careful.

"KID FLASH ARE YOU OKAY?"

"Shit that hurt, apparently this guy and his flying dog don't need my help and they are better than I thought."

"Kid Flash be careful, there are some clones coming your way along with the G-Troll."

"I'm on my way to back you up kid flash, Aqualad, cover me, don't let anyone else get close."

Things got out of control too fast, we already had almost a foot outside, and we just have to get on the elevator while the clones and genomorphs fight, but more importantly, what's a kid our age doing in this facility, and a dog that flies?

But what... is this... the G-troll practically went out propelled as if something had hit him hard in the side, I managed to dodge him just in time, a few more meters and he would have been a piece of shit.

He's still breathing and trying to get up, but that was surprising, was it some defective clone with superior strength to the other clones, if so it's going to be very complicated to take care of him while we deal with the other creatures and protect the guardian and the boy along with his flying dog.

The G-troll is getting up again, I only have 6 sticky bombs left, but we have no choice, we can't let it get back on its feet. I throw the sticky bombs on its legs and some on its torso and stomach.

The explosion causes some debris from the ceiling to fall and the place shakes, but it still allows me to keep running towards the kid flash, who is fighting with the genomorphs and some clones along with... the boy and his dog?

P.O.V SUPERBOY

This silhouette is too fast, I don't know if I can at least get a lucky shot, I can barely see him, when he finally stops, between his arms he is carrying a man, he is a young boy.

My first impression is that he looked like the man called flash that appeared in movies or comics that were on television, but his suit was not red, the boy's suit was yellow with some red details, he must be some kind of fanatic.

But still how is it possible that he runs at such a speed, this place never ceases to amaze me, somehow I'm not so surprised anymore by the things that are happening, I guess it's because of everything I've seen until I got here.

Still, I can't stop, if he tries to stop me I will shoot without hesitation, my hands are shaking and my heart goes fast due to the nerves of shooting someone and with so many noises of the fights that are taking place, knowing that, at any moment, their attacks can be directed towards us.

The guy leaves the body on the elevator floor and directs his gaze toward me.

"Hey kid waits, stop a moment... Aaahgrt!"

Krypto lunges towards the speedy boy, hitting the side of one of his ribs, he hasn't bitten him or anything like that, he just pushed him knocking him to the floor and out of our way towards the elevator.

I think we are finally going to make it, I didn't need to shoot thanks to Krypto... I still didn't feel I had the capacity to do it, it's one thing to say it and another thing to actually do it.

We are almost with one foot inside the elevator, but some strong footsteps come towards me again, shit it's that giant beast, it's coming towards me, I won't make it I have to dodge it, but I can't run any faster.

It's going to crash me, if that happens I'll get smashed into one of the walls, everything seems to go in slow motion, suddenly I see all my life going through my mind.

I remember how my life was before waking up here, I did not complain about anything, it was quiet, and it had its difficult moments, but I was used to solving everything alone, so I never needed anyone.

I guess that's the reason why I had trouble socializing and having friends at school and even at work, I was only accompanied by my loneliness, even if it sounds sad or boring, I guess I lived so long that I got used to that kind of life.

Now that I am about to be crushed or stamped I realize that I wasted every moment of my life if only I had not met that man...

"AARGHH...!"

A powerful blow as if it was a bullet hit my thorax taking all the air out of me and pushing me backward again, my sight seconds became blurred and my senses scattered again, I could only see a white silhouette flying... ¿Krypto?

It was all in a matter of seconds, my sight manages to come back little by little and the image of the silhouette becomes sharper, no doubt its Krypto, he hit me to get me out of the way, but now he doesn't have time to dodge that monster, shit krypto, I have to help him, shit, quick.

"NOOOOOOO!"

Krypto receives a direct hit from that beast which sends krypto flying towards the wall, its impact was so big that it created a break in the wall...SHIT KRIPTO...

I couldn't do anything, his body falls to the ground after being a few seconds nailed to the wall, and he doesn't move, SHIT, this was all my fault, Krypto was protecting me all this time, and I couldn't do anything to be able to help him, I feel helpless, NO, if only I could fight.

The beast calmed down, but there were more medium-sized beasts and some deformed ones surrounding me while fighting... I HAVE TO GET TO WHERE KRIPTO IS AND HELP HIM, I HAVE TO GET HIM OUT OF HERE.

My anger increases due to the impotence generated by what just happened, I feel as if my body increases its strength, and my whole body burns with anger, I raise my eyes and the giant beast is heading again towards me, and the deformed with the same intensity as a moment ago, but this time I don't feel fear.
