Chapter 8

"And who might you be?" Alfred enquired.

"I'm Sebastian, I helped him to hide from the thugs" Sebastian answered.

He saw Bruce making a death stare at him.

"I'm sorry could you elaborate why you just said now" Alfred said in a requesting manner but Sebastian felt it was an order.

"Well..." Before he could finish,Bruce interfered.

"Alfred Sebastian here has other matters to deal with, right Sebastian" Bruce asked.

"Oh no I got nowhere to be at this moment." He replied.

Sebastian then informed Alfred about the little adventure he had.

Sebastian grinned at the success of his prank on Bruce. As Alfred scolded Bruce for his reckless behavior, Sebastian struggled to suppress a chuckle, finding amusement in the situation despite the gravity of Alfred's words.

'Oh boy this is gold' Sebastian thought.

Alfred extended the invitation to Wayne Manor. "Sure, Alfred! I'd love to visit," Sebastian replied.

"I always wanted to see the inside of a mansion. Looks like today is my lucky day. Isn't that right Bruce" he asked.

"Yep" Bruce replied.

As the trio settled into the car.

He exchanged a knowing glance with Bruce, unable to resist a playful smirk in response to the death glare he received in return.

"Let's put a smile on that face." Sebastian said in a creepy voice.

"Shut up man" Bruce said while swatting off Sebastian's hands.

Alfred navigated the bustling streets of Gotham with practiced ease, the rhythmic hum of the engine providing a soothing backdrop to the conversation unfolding in the backseat. Sebastian engaged Alfred with small talks, learning more about the Wayne family and their storied history.

Meanwhile, Bruce seethed silently beside Sebastian.

Without warning Bruce hit him on his shoulder.

Sebastian winced at the blow.

"Hey, what was that for?" he exclaimed, rubbing his sore shoulder with a scowl directed at Bruce.

"That's for ratting me out to Alfred, there's more coming for you just wait." Bruce whispered in Sebastian's ear.

As they stepped through the grand entrance of Wayne Manor, Sebastian couldn't help but be awestruck by the sheer magnificence of the sprawling mansion.

"So what do you think ?" Bruce asked.

"It's big like really big" Sebastian said while looking around.

Bruce led the way with a sense of pride evident in his demeanor, his steps confident as he guided Sebastian through the many corridors of the manor. "Welcome to Wayne Manor," he said with a smile, gesturing towards the impressive surroundings. "This place has been in my family for generations."

"Man, you sound like a certificated tour guide." Sebastian joked.

Sebastian nodded in appreciation, taking in the grandeur of his surroundings with wide eyes.

As they strolled through the vast halls, Bruce regaled Sebastian with tales of the manor's storied past, pointing out notable features and sharing anecdotes from his childhood.

'man I don't understand some of the words he's saying!' Sebastian thought to himself.

Passing by art works from artists he never heard of and priceless antiques, Sebastian couldn't help but feel a sense of reverence for the history.

'there are things here that could fill a museum' he said in his mind.

"I've never seen anything like it." he said to Bruce.

Bruce smiled warmly, pleased by Sebastian's reaction. "There's still so much more to see," he said, leading Sebastian towards a sweeping staircase that ascended to the upper levels of the manor. "Shall we continue the tour?"

"Oh sure I like seeing expensive things, I usually go to the mall and stare at them." Sebastian said while Bruce grabbed his arms and walked towards the stairs.

Sebastian eagerly followed Bruce up the staircase, his curiosity piqued by the prospect of exploring further. As they reached the second floor, Bruce pointed out the various rooms and chambers that comprised the living quarters of the manor.

"How many rooms are there in this manner?" He asked.

"Around 12 rooms, why did you ask?" Bruce replied.

"Just enquiring" Sebastian said.

They continued the tour.

From the grand library filled with centuries-old books to the luxurious drawing room adorned with plush furnishings, Sebastian was captivated by the opulence and elegance of each space. "It's like something out of a fairy tale," he exclaimed.

"I know right, it feels good to have someone to talk to." Bruce said while looking down.

"And there's still one more area I think you'll appreciate." he continued.

With that, Bruce led Sebastian towards the expansive gardens that surrounded the manor, where lush greenery and vibrant blooms stretched out as far as the eye could see. As they wandered through the tranquil oasis, Bruce shared fond memories of spending time outdoors with his family.

"I see that you have a whole park for yourself. Good for you. There's a lake there. Do you fish there?" Sebastian asked.

"No there's no fish in the lake, but I used to go fishing with my dad. But after his death I don't do that anymore." Bruce said while looking at the lake.

"Ohhh" Sebastian replied without knowing what to say next.

"You should visit my apartment, it's not a fancy space but I like the view from the rooftop." Sebastian said while breaking the silence.

"Yeah we can do that" Bruce said with a smile.

They walked around the garden for a while.

After that Alfred came and brought the two of them for lunch.

After a delicious lunch Sebastian decided to return to his apartment.

Alfred offered him a ride back but Sebastian declined it.

Bruce took his apartment address from him so he could visit him.

After that Sebastian left Wayne manner and walked towards the city.

He returned to his apartment.

"Now I feel like I'm living in a cave." Sebastian said to himself.

'It was a nice experience, I still can't believe that Bruce got mugged by Selina'. He thought.

He then decided to attempt to complete his homework but fell asleep soon.

He woke up around 7:30 pm because of hunger.

He got out of his apartment and walked to the nearest pizza shop and bought a family size pizza.

I hope everybody enjoyed the chapter....😁
