224 Chapter 224: Reliving The Past

In the vast expanse of space, the Krypton research and exploration spacecraft drifted alone.

H'el, carrying the Flash, opened a shuttle passage, traversing the distant, tens of light-years away, to find the Krypton research and exploration spacecraft, entering the cryo-chamber, returning to the beginning of the first act.

Inside the spaceship's cryo-chamber.

"Father, is that you?"

Little H'el emerged from the cryo-pod, a tall figure stepping out from the frozen mist. He was tall, with powerful limbs, his skin tight against his muscular frame, outlining a perfect male physique exuding testosterone.

With a mix of joy and confusion in his eyes, he asked, "Father, you've awakened me now. Have we succeeded?"

The Flash felt his body gradually recovering, his muscles no longer feeling sore from H'el's restrictions. He was gradually breaking free from the shackles imposed on him by H'el.

The Flash's heart sank, unsure of what H'el intended to do. Looking at Little H'el, he immediately realized that this was H'el's attempt to create a closed loop by making Little H'el relive his experiences.

But reliving the past didn't necessarily mean achieving closure.

"Even if you make everything repeat, even if you flawlessly relive the past, it won't form a closed loop," said the Flash with a sharp look in his eyes.

If he weren't in H'el's spatial interlayer dimension, unable to touch anything related to Little H'el, the Flash really wanted to appear and disrupt the reconstructed past created by H'el.

Although it couldn't form a closed loop, the Flash was still uneasy.

"In your mind, is completing the closed loop the only way for me to return to my future?"

H'el's expression remained calm, watching his past self confront Jor-El at this moment.

Especially at the moment when he destroyed Krypton with his own hands, seeing this moment again, he suddenly felt...

What does "the impermanence of worldly affairs" really mean?

This is called the impermanence of worldly affairs. The self who always wanted to save Krypton is the true culprit behind its destruction.

It's as if everything he did in half his life is being mocked by fate.

But H'el won't blame others.

Back then, wanting to save Krypton was truly heartfelt, sincere, passionate, and a love for Krypton, the second home.

Now that he's the one destroying Krypton, he won't hesitate.

At every stage of a person's growth, there are always thoughts and actions typical of that stage. As long as there's no regret in each stage's choices, it's fine.

Though H'el's emotions are complex and uncomfortable, he understands it very clearly and won't deny the fact that he's the original sin.

Krypton must be destroyed, whether by self-destruction, Brainiac, or by his own hands.

If there are no outsiders, then he'll do it himself.

He can bear the destruction of what he sincerely wanted to save in his youth and his ideals.

He doesn't seek to change the past because he has always been grounded in the present and looking towards the future.

H'el follows Little H'el's footsteps, and with the Flash, they arrive at the control room, seeing Little H'el sitting in that steel seat, facing off against Jor-El.

The Flash remains calm, occasionally casting distrustful glances at H'el's side. He can only passively follow H'el's steps under H'el's spatial control and says, "There's no other way, don't harbor any delusions."

"Krypton Emperor, you are destined to be unable to escape from me in this timeline."

"Is that so? Let's watch."

H'el smiles faintly, glancing at the Flash before turning his head to continue watching Little H'el and Jor-El's progress.

The Flash feels as if he's being pierced by H'el's gaze all over his body, feeling uncomfortable all over, and furrows his brow tightly.

Reluctantly, he watches Little H'el with H'el.

"Haha... I won, Jor-El."

...

...

...

The Flash can't help but admit that the confrontation and caution between Little H'el and Jor-El, and the hidden moves they've left behind, are all brilliant enough to make a grand conspiracy film.

Especially when he sees Little H'el forcefully vomit out something to avoid detection of the metal key reaction, swallowing a king octopus stomachs in his own stomach, the Flash can't help but marvel at Little H'el's cunning calculations.

This is also something H'el has experienced before. In deep space, at the end of his rope, he fought against Jor-El's targeting and secured a lifeline.

The Flash glanced discreetly at H'el, never imagining that this Krypton Emperor had such difficult times, abandoned in deep space to await death in the past.

"Zero, format him!" Little H'el commanded mercilessly, formatting Jor-El's projection without any pity.

"Pull up the star map, calculate the distance to the nearest planet."

"How long can the crystal core engine energy last?"

"How far is it from Earth?"

Little H'el kept asking questions and issuing commands one after another.

At this moment, the Flash felt a chill run down his spine, his hair standing on end.

Turns out, even in this most difficult moment, the Krypton Emperor had long set his sights on Earth. He didn't give up on Earth, even though it was 2,940,000 light-years away in interstellar distance.

"What's so special about Earth? What's worth crossing 2,940,000 light-years of interstellar distance to reach such a remote and insignificant planet?" The Flash couldn't help but ask.

But H'el seemed to be focused on Little H'el, completely ignoring him, until Little H'el got up from the steel seat, and H'el's eyes lit up.

"Shut down all life support systems, leaving only basic life support in the meditation room."

Little H'el got up from the steel seat, heading towards the meditation room, preparing to open a vortex for travel to another world where he could bask in the sun.

"Preparations are underway," H'el said, looking at the Flash with a slight smile. Following behind Little H'el, H'el went to the meditation room, controlling the space to keep the Flash always by his side.

The Flash felt a shiver down his spine at H'el's smile. "What exactly are you planning to do, Krypton Emperor?"

H'el focused on Little H'el's movements, his large hand reaching into the space, causing ripples in the space. He grabbed the Flash's neck, lifting him up mercilessly. "I'm borrowing your speed to accomplish it."

"No... it's impossible... you can't complete the loop... you can't loop... your speed won't help you..." The Flash's face turned red from being choked, struggling to speak.

As Little H'el arrived in the meditation room, H'el held the Flash's neck tightly in the interlayer space's temperature, glaring at Little H'el's actions.

Little H'el sat down on the meditation platform, relaxed his body, took a deep breath, and entered his own consciousness space with a slight smile.

Then, his consciousness rushed towards the travel vortex, like rushing towards a gust of air. The slowly rotating travel vortex was swept away by his consciousness and disappeared.

Little H'el's consciousness, along with his body, couldn't help but lean forward uncontrollably, rolling down to the ground, hitting his forehead, which swelled and started bleeding. He looked around with a world-turned-upside-down gaze.

He was still in the meditation room.

"I didn't travel through???".
