156 Chapter 156: Resurrection

LexCorp Tower.

Underground base.

The Martian Manhunter used his intangibility to travel from the Arctic Fortress to LexCorp Tower's underground base after confirming his safety through various twists and turns.

Previously, Jor-El had communicated with him and provided the address, so he had come here to observe and understand everything Jor-El had mentioned.

There were almost no discrepancies, and now it was his second time entering the underground base.

The Martian Manhunter swiftly materialized in the experiment lab, his shape-shifting body leaving the Flash's body like molasses, departing from his mental will.

The Flash stumbled a bit, his eyes flashing yellow arcs, and he recovered to see the well-lit lab. The Martian Manhunter had his eyes closed, sitting to the side, recovering his slightly torn psyche.

On the lab table lay a humanoid body with gray skin, with the appearance of Jor-El.

And Professor Ivo, who was busy observing computer data, paid no attention to the appearance of the two people in the lab.

"Welcome back, Flash. Thank you for your trust, Martian Manhunter," projected Jor-El's figure in the lab, sincerely thanking the Martian Manhunter.

"I'm just doing what I believe is right," the Martian Manhunter replied with his eyes closed, sitting in a corner as if meditating, resting to restore his mental strength.

"I also have to thank you for saving me. But who are you, and what's your plan? He is extraordinarily powerful," the Flash said with a wry smile, engaging in a conversation with Jor-El.

They got to know each other, learned from Jor-El about the shocking events, the enmity and grudges from Krypton to Earth.

They also learned that Jor-El wanted to activate the atomic cell link in the Amazo's body through his speed-force and implant his own will into Amazon to gain incredible power to confront H'el

"Are you sure this will work? According to what you've said, Superman and Amazo are similar, but Superman couldn't even resist him. He's too powerful," the Flash's azure eyes flashed with hesitation.

Speed Force was not a power that could be easily controlled, even though Barry was the first to possess such power.

He only had a vague understanding of this ability and couldn't predict what would happen.

Plus, when he was used as an experiment by H'el, the mysterious Speed Force's will had reminded him that the former should not exist.

It made the Flash doubt whether it would be difficult to completely eliminate the H'el through conventional means.

Especially this direct method of creating powerful forces for confrontation might not be the right choice.

But what did "the person who should not exist" mean? Barry only had a slight clue and could only guess its authenticity.

"Agreed. H'el's potential has not been fully unleashed yet. As for Amazo, he is willing to tap into his potential without considering the consequences. He can confront H'el head-on, and even if he can't kill him, I can destroy Amazo's body, creating a singularity portal to send H'el to a timeless place of silence, preventing him from returning to Earth," Jor-El said with determined and righteous eyes.

When he enters Amazo's body, it meant that his life was now within Amazo's body. Destroying its body would be akin to sacrificing himself.

This spirit of self-sacrifice moved both Barry and the J'onn. The Martian Manhunter even opened his eyes from his meditation and exchanged a glance with Barry, looking at Jor-El's projection.

The Flash's lips moved, wanting to say something, but in the end, he couldn't say anything because even he didn't know how to save the Earth or defeat H'el.

Now, there was a way to defeat H'el, but it required the sacrifice of Superman's father.

How could the Flash stop this? Could he even stop it?

The Martian Manhunter suddenly stood up, his deep blue cape rustling behind him, and his blood-red eyes filled with emotional reason.

"I'll go rescue Superman."

At that moment, the Martian Manhunter's inner self was touched.

He had the power to let Superman see his father one last time.

He could let this great father touch his son's face, say goodbye to his own son.

It was something he believed he could do, a small and insignificant act.

"No, it's not necessary. Martian Manhunter, you've already risked your life to rescue the Flash. He won't fall for the same trick twice, H'el will surely have a way to deal with you. You can't show up in front of him, don't blindly trust intangibility," Jor-El's face changed, hurriedly stopping the Martian Manhunter.

The power and wisdom of H'el, Jor-El always had the deepest and clearest understanding of it.

Perhaps he could gain an advantage the first time against H'el, but the second time would undoubtedly be a suicidal act with no escape.

"He did surprise me by using his psychic power to force me out of intangibility, but that's it. I was free there."

The Martian Manhunter spoke with a rational tone in his blood-red eyes.

Intangibility could resist and neutralize about ninety percent of H'el's psychic shock, making it almost invulnerable, the most potent psychic resistance ability.

Being able to be brought into physical form while in intangibility was already quite impressive.

But being able to kill himself in intangibility? Impossible.

The Martian Manhunter didn't believe that the Kryptonian ruler had such a rapid means of restraining him.

After speaking, the Martian Manhunter entered intangibility and disappeared in front of Jor-El and the Flash.

He directly traversed out of the underground base and arrived at the surface of Metropolis's LexCorp Tower.

As he raised his head, he was instantly stunned.

In the sky, the flagship Marshall's Sacrifice projected a massive image.

The projection clearly displayed the deep red Marshal's Sacrifice flagship sailing through the dazzling starry sky at an extremely fast speed, about to reach the outer space of Mars.

The Martian Manhunter's face changed drastically, and he flew towards the Arctic Fortress like a madman.

Jor-El's expression changed, watching the Martian Manhunter disappear, then turned to the Flash with a stern request, "Flash, please help me, help Kal, help Earth, help the Martian Manhunter. His journey is undoubtedly dangerous, and I know H'el better than anyone. We need to save him!"

The Flash didn't hesitate for a moment, nodded heavily, and walked resolutely to Amazo's side.

"I've entered Amazo's body. Please start inputting the Speed Force," Jor-El's voice trembled.

Professor Ivo, who was standing nearby, had shining eyes, mumbling excitedly with a flushed face, excitedly breaking the connections to Amazo. He stared at Amazo with wide eyes.

The Flash looked at the gray-skinned Amazo, and yellow electric arcs flashed in his eyes. His hands vibrated rapidly, blurring, and sent yellow electric arcs towards its chest.

The dense yellow electric arcs passed from the Flash's hands, crazily penetrating Amazo's skin pores.

It was shrouded in the thunder of yellow electric arcs, constantly trembling. Every atomic cell inside it began running according to the preset program, forming a network.

After a while, the Flash stopped the vibrating and blurry motion of his hands and stared at Amazo intently.

Jor-El suddenly opened his eyes, got up from the lab table, and touched his hands in amazement.

Feeling the immense physical strength was a completely different sensation from being in a digital form. Jor-El's face was filled with surprise, and his palms continued to make rapid clapping sounds.

"It worked! It worked!" Professor Ivo cheered on the side. Jor-El's success gave him a glimpse of eternal life and powerful hope.

The Flash's tense face suddenly relaxed.

Jor-El's lips curved into a wicked smile as he lightly controlled his body, flicking his fingers toward Professor Ivo. (A/N: */Insert "Oh shit" meme)

Professor Ivo's upper body exploded into pieces, and blood splattered across the extensive laboratory.

The fresh red blood still carried the warmth and aroma of crimson, dripping onto the Flash's skin under his hood, leaving him stupefied.

*Boom!*

Jor-El unleashed a bio-force field, which directly slammed the Flash into the wall, pressing him against it.

He slowly retracted the bio-force field, and the Flash slid down the wall, collapsing on the ground.

With a smile, Jor-El stepped down from the lab table, walked over the unconscious Flash, and his figure stretched long in the light outside. Tall and dark, he left.
