6 Legally resurrected

I made my way down the stairs just in time to meet the family getting ready, Oliver was wearing a suit and so was Walter, Moira was wearing a dress looking particularly stressed this evening.

"Good Lucas you are down and ready," Moira said with some relief

"Of course, I'm ready you don't get legally resurrected every day," I replied with a smile

"And that's why I'm here! I have to see my two best friends getting resurrected," Tommy walked in with a cheeky smile

Turning to my sister I asked, "Are you coming?"

"No, I think I've been to court enough times," she replied shaking her head

"Come on Thea you've never seen me in court, ride with me and Dembe," I offered with a sincere smile out of all of my relatives I like Thea the most

She seemed to think about it for a while.

"You should go with him Thea, you two haven't been able to catch up yet," Moira added encouragingly

"Fine," She relented

"Good, I'm glad we got that sorted now let's go!" I said jovially

Thea shook her head in exasperation and followed me to the car. Dembe got in the driver's seat while Thea and I got in the back.

The courthouse wasn't far so the drive won't be too long.

"So Thea how's school," I asked trying to start a conversation

"Oh, you know how it is, boring and uneventful," she replied dryly

"Yeah, I remember those days is Ms.Reinfeld still teaching English?" I asked

She looked at me and shook her head, "yes and she's still a bitch,"

"Haha, yeah she was but she is hot so it balances out," I replied smiling at her

"Of course, you would say that, every boy does," she said with an annoyed look

"I'm glad you are coming today," I said giving her a side hug

"Didn't give me much of a choice," she mumbled

"Ah stop whining it's unbecoming of a young and respectable woman such as yourself," I said in a joking tone

"Oh lay off," she said fake punching me

"Hey, I know you don't want to talk about this and I know Oliver has probably tried to say something but coming from him it probably sounds hypocritical. I just don't want you to make mistakes that could hurt you, drugs are bad for you sis they don't do anything meaningful and I'm not asking for you to stop right now but try working on it and I guarantee you will feel better." I said in a serious tone

Her eyes narrowed and her lips quirked into a scowl, "wow I should have known this was going to happen, so this was your plan huh? Be nice and have some small talk then while I'm trapped in the car bring up this stuff?"

"Oh sue me for wanting to be a brother, you know what say the word and I will stop caring, you're destroying yourself and you can't even see it," I responded annoyed

I know that she would be mad and snap at me but she honestly has to realize that where she is going is down a dark path.

"Listen, sis, I'm not saying stop drinking and having fun, maybe even smoking weed here and there would be perfectly fine but, you got to stop taking pills and hard drugs," I added calmly not wanting to sound disappointed

"You want to be my brother now? You got home and immediately holed yourself away in your room I see you less than Oliver and that's saying something," she bit back but she was a little less aggressive

Hearing what she said a sigh escaped my lips, "Yeah you are right I have been a pretty shitty brother, Thea the island fucked me up bad."

She looked at me with raw emotions she was about to say something when the car stopped, "we are here," Dembe said getting out of the car and opening my door

As soon as I stepped out of the vehicle reporters bombarded me, Oliver arrived as well and he got the same treatment.

As we made our way through the crowd of reporters, lights were flashing, and the constant questions made me annoyed, the sun was beating down heavily today so my skin felt like it was sizzling. I was beyond annoyed, more like furious.

Eventually, we made it through the crowd and made it to the courthouse. As we walked through the courthouse people turned to stare but it wasn't annoying, just another part of being famous.

We reached our courtroom Oliver and I sat down in our seats with our Lawyer with us, soon the room was filled, and the judge took her seat

Once the judge got the introduction out of the way Oliver and I stood and began to tell our tale.

"Our father didn't make it." Oliver said

"We almost died, we thought that we had," I added in perfect sync

Oliver turned to me and put his hand on my shoulder for the emotional value,

"We thought that we had, cause we spent. So many days on that life raft," Oliver continued in a sad listless tone

I looked at Oliver and sadness in my eyes and turned to the judge, "We saw the island and it felt euphoric but also foreboding in a sense we didn't know what will happen once we reached it," I added sadly

"But we knew we had to survive for our dad and our family back home, we needed to live for him for his sacrifice," I finished off Oliver and me sharing a look of grief

"Your Honor, we move to vitiate the death-in-absentia filed after Oliver and Lucas's disappearance at sea aboard the Queen's Gambit, five years ago. Unfortunately, we will not be requesting that the declaration of death filed for the two petitioners' father Robert Queen, be rescinded. The Queen family is only entitled to two miracles I'm afraid." our lawyer spoke

The rest of it passed like a blur, Oliver and I soon left with our family Moira brought up the business thing but Oliver and I both agreed to go tomorrow.

While we were heading out I had to shuffle past all of the reporters to make it to my car, Thea hoped in and we made our way back home, the drive was mostly silent, music was playing in the background as we drove through Star City.

"I'm sorry," Thea suddenly said while looking out the window

"For what?" I asked softly

"For being a bitch, you and Oli have been through a lot and I'm just being a bitch," she replied equally as soft

"Aha, Thea you are being a human, emotions are things we all have and you are a teen so you have more, we all need to work on improving ourselves I need to spend more time out of my room and you need to stop taking pills both will be challenging and I hope both of us work on it together," I replied sincerely

She finally turned to look at me, her eyes were moist but a smile was adorning her face as she replied, "id like that,"

Smiling back at her I nodded my head and gave her a side hug, we made it to the house shortly afterward.

All three of us got out of the car, Thea went inside first and I turned to Dembe, "Do you think I did well in that talk?" I asked

"It was good, you seemed to make an impact," He replied stoically

"Haha, good!" I replied patting his shoulder and walking inside

Once inside a pulled up my secure laptop and began to search the less friendly areas of the internet that I know of for any auctions or antiques, I want to get more material that could relate to the tomes I found, I think with the Dc universe and how dangerous it is you have to cling onto any possible way to get stronger, and magic is a very smart way to gain strength.

Magic can do so much, it's like the ultimate multi-tool, and I plan to have a good grasp on it even if I just learn the basics.

When I left the Island, I learned some frightening news about the world I'm in, this isn't just the Arrowverse, I have seen footage of Superman stopping crime and Batman taking down criminals in his broody fashion.

The only things that I know for sure are that the Arrow plot is happening the same and that Flash will most likely be the same as seen on tv, the particle accelerator is said to have its showing in 2013 at the same time as in the Flash so at least I have knowledge of that.

Now I know a decent amount about Batman, Superman, and the Dc Universe but there are so many storylines I can't tell which is which.

But that's fine honestly because I still know the important stuff, hopefully, I'm not in one of the crazy whole world is going to get killed storylines. Wait, that happens every fifteen seconds in dc!

On a positive note, I do want to run the family business, Oliver honestly wasted so much not jumping on the opportunity to run Queen Consolidated, I'm not a businessman or CEO and I don't pretend to be so I'm going to need to do research and learn a lot before I take up the mantel, honestly, It blows my mind in some novels or Fanfiction when a nerd or someone with no business skills somehow runs a multi-million dollar company like it's nothing.

Me being a Vampire I can study all night, and learn faster than a regular human, and that is one thing I love about being a vampire I love books and now I can speed read when I want, and learn so much.

One of my dreams as lame as it may sound Is to have the best library in the world, it hopefully would be filled with magic tomes, ancient literature, and more.

Pulling me out of my thoughts was a line of text that read on my laptop screen, 'Antique Auction-6m' the six m meant that the auction was in six months, and once the counter gets to one week before the page will show coordinates, I have used this site before so I know the site only allows legit people to post things like this.
