2 Chapter One

If one would wonder what it was like waking up from a sleep you never went to, just be informed now that it was no different from just awakening from sleep.

All that talk about senses enveloping the surroundings, identifying beings next to you, and "sensing" people, was complete and utter bullshit.

When I woke up, I felt like I had just gotten back home from college exams that I had been preparing for three days without proper sleep and decided to take an hour-long nap that turned out to be a nine-hour nap.

Besically, I felt like shit.

Processing my thought process for a few moments, I resisted the urge to raise an eyebrow I dropped out of collage because doing what your parents wanted you to do because you felt like you owed them was a pain in the ass and went to military.

My eyes finally came into focus and I raised an eyebrow at the rocks that met me instead of a normal roof.

Where the hell was I?

Turning my head, I noticed a weird device that was aimed at me, green light coming from it... Was it scanning me? Bitch, ever heard of a permission?

Looking at my arms, I blinked at the fact that they were tied down, not with rope, but with metal, or iron, I didn't really know.

But I was being restrained.

Rolling my eyes, I tugged my left hand, feeling the restraints break with no pain accompanying it, and swung my arm at the thing that was scanning me.

Scowling, I sat up and looked around, spotting a figure in black, who currently had his body lowered like he was expecting a fight.

We kept eye contact for a few seconds which felt like awkward minutes and remained silent.

Finally, I recognized his attire. That black cape, those gray tights, that bat symbol... This was Batman... This little shit scanned me!

Scowling, I pointed a finger at him with an annoyed look.

"Bitch, what the fuck do you think you are doing? Seriously, you see a guy and your first instinct when seeing an unconscious man is not to wake him up, but scan him? Pull that shit on a wrong person and someone will rip out your spine!'

I couldn't see his expression under the mask, so I didn't know if he was surprised or not, but I didn't really care right now. Flinging my legs over the table I was oh so graciously dumped on, and breaking those restraints too, I rubbed the bridge of my nose.

Really, out of Billions of people who could find me, it had to be this little shit.

"Who are you?"

I raised an eyebrow at his tone but ignored it momentarily, looking at my body. I didn't know how old I was, but I was younger, that was a fact.

"Answer the question."

I looked up at the bat and resisted the urge to shoot laser beams at him, I didn't know how to yet.

"Get me pants, I don't know about you, but I have no intention of being stared at while I'm naked."

He just narrowed his eyes at me and I felt the familiar irritation bubble inside me. This guy reminded me of someone from the past, someone controlling, and I didn't like it at all.

"Answer the question."

My eyebrow twitched.

___

After finally getting some fucking underwear and pants, I was sitting in a chair, looking at the Bat with an unimpressed look as he stared at me, trying to intimidate me.

Which did not work, It might be because of the fact that I knew nothing on this planet could hurt me yet, or might be because I still thought that Batman was still a fictional character or a combination of both.

"Where are you from?"

I raised an eyebrow.

"Why would I answer any question you ask?"

He narrowed his eyes at me.

"You are extraterrestrial, you were found on this planet, I am making sure you are not a threat, it would be in your interest to cooperate."

Oh, right, I wasn't technically human anymore.

"And who are you, the ruler of this planet? If so, I'm not really impressed... Like at all."

I gave him the most unimpressed look I could muster and looked around the cave... I still couldn't fly... no, not couldn't, I didn't know how to.

"You don't have much of a choice."

Bitch, please. Rolling my eyes at him, I continued to look around, ignoring the glare that bore into the side of my head.

This cave was really... Meh. I mean it was high-tech, but there were no dinosaurs or giant coins, there were some mannequins that held a few suits but that was it.

"Where do you come from?"

I took a deep breath and released a sigh. First time getting interrogated, not a pleasant experience, I'm giving it a one-star review.

"Krypton."

I shrugged, not like he could go and check my birth certificate, that place exploded.

And guess what he did... Correct, he narrowed his eyes at me...

"You know, If you want to blink, you can just do it right?"

No seriously, this guy looked like he was trying to imitate a Chinese man... and that was racist, if you were in 2023, you would get canceled.

"Why are you on this planet?"

I shrugged. This Batman must have still been a little green, by now, I thought he would already be choking me, trying to get a proper answer with violence.

But here I was, trying to get a reaction out of him. I wanted to get out, and I wanted to get out soon... I couldn't delay him for much longer, where the hell was that exit?!
