Chapter 11: Princess of another world

"Wow, this flash guy seems interesting." Naruto said, as I showed him clips of the red blur traveling around Central City.

I informed Naruto about my world, anime culture, the many countries we have and how advanced our technology was.

"Naruto-kun, we can help a lot of people with how advanced technology is here." She mentioned to the man who was more focused on the super hero side of the world.

It was then I realized how advanced modern medicine was, and they could probably bring back a couple of laptops with data to help their scientists.

"Lucas, is it ok if I bring a couple of friends here?" Naruto asked, to which I just shrugged.

I didn't really care who he brought, since all of Naruto's friends should be extremely good people at this point.

Naruto then nodded, and just disappeared from his current location. 

It also didn't seem like he was really worried about Hinata's safety, well probably from what he has seen of the world he doesn't deem it as a threat whatsoever.

Hinata stayed and continued to pat Tom, who this time was appreciative of the attention he was getting.

It became slightly awkward, since I didn't really know how to converse with Hinata, who up till now was an anime character for me.

I also wasn't really the most chatty person with other people.

And it was also really weird, I basically knew everything about her so I didn't even have too many questions for her.

Just as I was about to awkwardly bring up something to talk about, Hinata starred in a random direction.

Tom, who was resting his head on her lap, suddenly started to sniff the air like a dog.

Then, I saw an extremely scared expression appear on his face as he ran towards me and hid behind my back, shivering.

"What's going on ?" I asked out loud, and now Steel, who was working, came out of my room and explained.

"I sense some dark-matter fluctuations. Best be prepared." He said, as he merged with me and my steel suit enveloped me.

I then saw veins bulge from Hinata's eyes as she activated her kekkei-genkai, Byakugan.

"Some sort of darkness is enveloping this entire neighborhood, and someones in the middle of it, controlling everything." Hinata said, as she saw through this supposed darkness.

"COME OUT, MAN IN BLUE!" A large voice resounded in our entire neighborhood.

At that, my eyes shone as I realized that he was looking for me.

"I know you live in this area. If you don't come out, I promise to submerge you all in eternal darkness!" He screamed in passion, and I didn't doubt his words.

Hinata, realizing what was going on, turned in my direction as if asking me what I wanted to do.

I stayed silent as Steel analyzed the situation.

A dark sort of fog was beginning to seep into our apartment, so I clinged to the ceiling by stuffing my fingers in the walls.

I didn't know if the darkness would affect me yet.

Hinata simply stuck her foot onto the wall, as Tom was clinging to her.

"I cannot see through this darkness, if we go in we are going in blind." Steel mentioned.

I then sighed, I didn't want to rely on my new guests and make a bad impression…that being said, I also knew Hinata's character.

"Urm…Hinata, if it isn't too much to ask, could you help me out a little?"

Hinata, who was currently hanging upside down and tilted her head and spoke slightly confused, "Why would it be too much? I will, of course, help my friend."

"We should be able to touch the darkness, but we might possibly be tracked the second we touch it. I suggest we discreetly change our armor and go out through a window." Steel suggested.

He spoke out loud, so Hinata and Tom could hear them.

Suddenly, as if realizing something, Tom's eyes literally bulged out of his head and he dropped right into the darkness without a care in the world.

"TOM!" I shouted, but he ignored me, and ran into my room.

At this point, my apartment was submerged into darkness, until Tom's height, so he by right shouldn't be able to see at all.

But when was it ever by right with Tom?

He ran into my room and took out a box.

As I looked at the box, I realized why Tom went inside the room.

Buzz was inside the box, and he wasn't making any sounds because another human being was here.

No wonder the house has been so peaceful lately.

"Let's go." I said, as I changed into [Flight Mode], opened the window and flew out.

Hinata joined me, as she walked out of the house with Tom in her hands, and ran to the rooftop where I met her.

She then gently placed Tom onto the floor, as he tightly grabbed the wooden box in his hand.

Hinata patted his head a bit, then nodded in my direction. After that, she turned towards the enemy.

The second she did, her entire aura took a sudden shift.

From the nice, gentle and humble person I had just met, I felt like I was standing in front of someone much more…noble.

Someone who exude confidence that she normally didn't portray.

It was as if nothing in the world could ever phase her.

And I also knew where her confidence came from, while the source of confidence himself was obvious to it.

She knew no matter what happened to her, he would be here the instant he heard about it.

And well, if he couldn't take care of it, they were bound to be screwed anyway.

"THERE!" I heard the voice, as I saw the darkness form steps, as a human body began to emerge, while walking on the steps.

As he emerged, Hinata positioned herself in between him and me and she seemed to be extremely calm.

I turned around to hide Tom, but he disappeared, not to be seen anywhere.

Then, I looked up to see Tom wearing what looked like a cap with mini propellers on it that let him fly high into the sky.

He waved his hand at me excitedly, motioning me to join him.

I smiled a little as I flew towards him.

"Where are you going?" The man cloaked in darkness asked, as he shot some shadows towards me.

Before I could even comprehend what was happening, Hinata moved her palm towards the attack.

She gently pushed her palm into the air, and I could only watch in awe as a gust of wind completely blew past the shadows, making them disappear.

"Are you going to get in my way?!" Asked the man in anger, as more darkness swirled around him, and started to cover the entire roof in a domain.

I couldn't even see the fight anymore.

Hinata POV

I could clearly see where the man was, so I stared in his direction, waiting for the smallest of movement.

I remember brother Neji teaching me, reacting is better than initiation when you know nothing about your enemy.

Suddenly, I saw from behind a fist materialize and try to punch my head from the back, but I managed to dodge it easily.

"Eight trigrams palm, rotating heaven." I announced, as I rotated my chakra and made all the darkness move away from the battlefield, but then it immediately just got covered again.

I then channeled chakra into my palm and pushed it towards the man, a gust of air rushed towards him and he just let the attack hit him.

"You cannot touch me!" He screamed at me,

I was just about to get serious, and see if the manifestation of chakra could touch his physical body which is roaming around in the darkness, but then I heard a voice that made me sigh.

"And I will not let you touch her."

As soon as that was said, the man inside of the darkness looked up to see what looked like a miniature sun staring at him from high up in the sky.
