Colonel Guren spoke lightly as he descended the stairs to the location of the cursed weapons storage.
Shinoa walked into a group with her future squad members while contemplating the recent incident.
Guren was testing Yūichirō Hyakuya, Yoichi Saotome, and Shihō Kimizuki with his activated cursed demonic weapons.
They seemed to grip their hearts and whisper in their ears while trying to possess them, but Shinoa felt absolutely nothing.

She grew up learning about magic by seeing her father perform and listening to his stories, but he never seemed to want to share them with her.
However, she chose to follow in her father's footsteps since she saw him as a hero who had saved many lives and also wanted to honor him.

I asked again.
"Yes."
Zatanna nodded and changed her clothes with magic.
"I'm in."
I still decided to go with her.
In the evening, I was able to hunt down the actual risen dead whom the amateur necromancer resurrected... and he died from the summoned undead who tore his throat.
After such an "exciting" journey, I returned to Lena and continued to deal with company matters.

Lena turned away from me, like a child, and went to the closet to get dressed.
"Don't forget, we have a meeting with the representatives of the district army today. They probably want to renew the contract, but only on more favorable terms for themselves. The reviews of other professors about your doctoral thesis were highly praised... They might ask you to make some weapons."
I could hear concern in Lena's voice.
"Don't worry. Cortana will remind me if I'm too busy."
I said I was watching Lena in official attire.
"I must admit, I like you better without clothes."
"Tony, I'm serious. I know you're not just a normal guy... but it's a whole army, so spoiling relations with them could be dangerous."
"Lena, if things get out of control, we can always resort to plan "B" and brainwash their brains with magic."
