I said this while shocking the man.

I looked at his squad.

"Who are you?"

Guren nervously asked, placing his hand on his sword while his squad members had questioning expressions on their faces.

"Neither you nor your demon will help you if you decide to go against me."

I honestly told him.

"Shinoa, this world is turning me into some kind of villain..."

I said this to Shinoa when I realized what I had just said.

"Uh-huh, Hermione noticed that too and already left the broadcast."

Shinoa replied.

Hermione Granger: How do normal people even fight against vampires like these⁈

Rias Gremory: With magic...?

Hermione Granger: By the way, this redhead has the same hair color as you, Rias.

I said, and with pure Will and magical seals appearing under each vampire, I began marking them.

There were some who tried to jump away... but they immediately exploded showing that it wasn't a good idea.

"And you said you wouldn't stoop to their level, yet you literally branded them... like livestock."

Shinoa said it with a smile.

I addressed the vampires.

Crowley replied.

Ferid commented.

Yūichirō Hyakuya grew up in the Hyakuya Orphanage together with his best friend, Mikaela.

"Please, come with me, Yu and humans will use you and throw you away when you're no longer useful!"

Mikaela raised his voice slightly while tears welled up in his eyes.

"Vampires aren't our friends. We're livestock to them, Mi... Mika?"

An arrow flew past Hyakuya and stuck into Mikaela's shoulder.

Yuichiro saw what looked like a blade flying toward Mika in the corner of his eye, moving slowly.

He started pulling out his cursed weapon to block the blow.

Guren wasn't idle either and his hand reached for his sword at his waist, but he clearly wasn't fast enough.

Then Yuichiro saw sparks from the sword, and lightning seemed to run along it, but that didn't stop him.

He tried with all his might to speed up the enhancement, but it was still working from Anthony.

Yuichiro managed to deflect the blow at the last moment, but the cursed energy seemed to hit Mika, sending him several meters away.

"Soldier, what the hell are you talking to a vampire for!"

Kureto Hiragi exclaimed that he had recently tried to kill Mika.

"Don't touch him!"

Yuichiro exclaimed while holding his sword.

"He's my family!"

"I'm Lieutenant General Kureto Hiragi. Seize the vampire."

Kureto Hiragio pointed at Mika, and the Imperial Army soldiers appeared.

It was Yuichiro who stood in their way at that time.

"I won't let you touch him!"

Yuichiro clenched his sword even tighter, and tattoos appeared on his face.

"You will be punished for disobedience. Guren, deal with your subordinate."

Kureto pointed at Yuichiro.

"Yuichiro, calm down, or you'll jeopardize your whole squad."

Guren said while approaching Yuichiro.

"No."

Yuichiro shook his head.

"Guren, he's my family. Do you hear me? I thought he was dead, but he's alive even though he became a vampire! It's still possible to fix this!"

"Squad, step back from Yuichiro."

Guren ordered Shinoa's squad, and they froze not knowing what to do.

"Are you handing him over for experiments?"

Yuichiro exclaimed.

"I wasn't enough for you? I know they experimented on me; Tony told me. What else are you hiding from me?"

"Don't touch him!"

Yuichiro tried to stop the people from grabbing Mikaela, but Guren hit him in the face and fell to the ground.

The squad couldn't take it anymore and also tried to stand up for Yuichiro, but the soldiers of the Imperial Army immediately aimed their bows at them.

"No! Don't touch him! You're hurting him! NO!"

Yuichiro exclaimed much louder as his left eye turned red and blood began to drip from it.

"Ahh!"

Yuichiro screamed with an inhuman cry.

"Damn, not now."

Guren said, and then something that looked like a black wing suddenly came out from behind Yuichiro.

It was like water under pressure started to leak out a black, oily liquid that turned into blood as soon as it hit the ground.

"Yui! What have you done to him!"

Mikaela exclaimed with worry about his friend.

He started screaming even louder and suddenly jerked his hand that blew away everyone who was about to grab Mikaela.

"A-a-ah."

Yuichiro grabbed his head and suddenly lifted his head with a sword in his hand a second later.

"Damn it, get out of here!"

Guren exclaimed.

Yuichiro raised his sword over his head towards Kureto and lowered it.

Then, a huge pillar of black salt just appeared out of nowhere and moved toward the sword blade crashing everything in their way.

This wave simply cut multi-story buildings in half and ultimately created a huge crater, larger than the one created by the same golem.

"W-what's wrong with him?"

Yoichi asked fearfully.

"Retreat!"

Kureto shouted to try to minimize losses.

"Yui!"

Mikaela looked at his dear friend in such an altered state.

The Seraphim clearly heard the shout and turned his head while looking straight at him with his red eye.
