Away He Goes

"Jesus!" Flash exclaimed in shock as the League members looked at the aftermath of the fight. Happy Harbor was no more, simple as that. In its place was a crater that was ten times the size of the town and still filling with sea water. My Justice had survived just because it had been reinforced multiple times to withstand the most powerful members sparring.

"This is bad. The injured are numerous and we can thank our luck for no casualties thanks to the early warning they received. But, a whole town disappearing will bring too much attention, especially when there are two elephants involved," Captain Atom said with a displeased scowl.

"Yes, this is a problem," Batman agreed before looking at Mt Justice. Due to this incident, Mt Justice might not be the pe fect base for the team. Also, Allen was about to become world famous, or infamous due to this. The US government will want to persecute him due to this and due to his power, the Justice League will the ones that will be pressured to do so. If they fought him without knowing how to put him down, he would become too powerful thanks to his powers.

"So troublesome!" he growled before looking at Superman. "We need to contain this as fast as possible. The president listens to you, try to convince him we are on top of this."

"On it," Superman said before flying away. Batman turned to Shazam

"Black Adam was the one behind this. As the one who frequently opposes him, its your job to find out why he attacked Allen,"

"Right," Shazam gulped at the glare Batman was giving him. He is as still a pretten, Batman's glares were enough to make grown men piss their pants. He flew off too.

"Flash, you follow him and keep an eye out. If Black Adam was not working alone, he could be in trouble," Batman said. Flash gave him a salute and took off too

"Was that necessary?" Wonder Woman asked. Batman did not answer, just grunted.

"I don't understand," Green Lantern Hal Jordan was puzzled by this line of question. The way she asked meant there was more to Batman's decision of sending the three Leguers away.

"He wants the hardened members to make a decision about what to do with Allen," Captain Atom explained.

"What's there to decide? He wants out of the planet, we give him what he wants," Green Lantern said.

"Not after this. Black Adam attacked him, meaning he wanted something from him. We have to know what exactly it is or we will only keep in guessing. It might be important," Black Canary said.

"Or it might not be," Martian Manhunter contradicted her.

"The matter of the fact is, Allen has something someone wants. Something important to warrant Black Adam to attack him with killing already in the table. We have to know what it is in order to keep him safe," Wonder Woman said.

"We will be keeping him safe and our planet too by sending him off," Captain Atom spoke up before pointing all around them. "It is evidently clear he holds this planet in little regard. If he fights again, I am afraid the casualties will be staggering, we got lucky!"

"I second that," Green Lantern John Stewart spoke up. "If more come after him after this, he will start killing. Better we take him off planet before." The argument continued till the ones agreeing to Allen leaving the planet won. That was until they received a notification, or rather Batman received one.

"I'm afraid its too late for that," he said, closing the HUD with the article.

"What do you mean?" Black Canary asked. Batman projected the article.

'Alien attack Happy Harbor, reducing the town to nothing. 86 people gravely injured, homes lost, permanent relocation needed. Amanda Waller states alien is now a threat to national security and is a fugitive. An inside source has confirmed the Justice League have apprehended the alien and they are advised to hand himnove to the authorities to pay for his crimes.'

This article was surprising for the fight was barely half an hour before. How exactly did they get the news that fast! More worrisome was that Amanda Waller was involved. Thay meant her Task force would be on the case. But Allen was a different kind of fugitive, one on par with the Legue's heavy hitters.

"You knew, didn't you? That's why you were silent all this time, you were stalling," Captain Atom said as he scowled at Batman.

"Yes, I knew something like this was going to happen. Allen is important to Cadmus and the shareholders were not about to let him go. He is an alien in a hostile planet, his first thought would be to leave the planet. They had to make sure he didn't so that they could capture him once again. Now that everyone knows we have him, they have tied our hands. We have to comply or else we will be accused of harboring and aiding a fugitive," Batman explained. The others were silent, some in awe at his intelligence. "What I do know is that no matter the outcome, Allen will not like it."

...

"I guess you're full now, huh?" Allen laughed as he saw the kittens mewling contentedly and laze about. They were in Mt Justice waiting for the Justice League to give their verdict. But, more than that, he was feeling his rise in power after the boost he got from self harm and the masochistic fight with Black Adam as he was called.

He was amazed at how high he had climbed. While before it might have been two times two equals four, now he felt like it was a five numbered didgit multiplied by itself! The results were so vastly different it was no joke! He could barely carry a country before, now he felt continents would weigh nothing to him!

"This is ridiculous!" he laughed, looking at his clenched fist. He wanted to test out his new found strength in the gym when he felt a psychic wave wash over him. Allen had limited telepathy that grew with his power and now, it was strong enough to be acknowledged by someone like Professor Xavier. He looked at the direction it came from but frowned when he didn't see any one, yet could feel there was someone there.

'Someone's playing tricks here,' he concluded as he prepared himself.

"Hey, big guy!" someone else greeted him. He turned to the speaker to see the supposed clone of Superman walking towards him, rather stiffly though. "I wanted to see how you're doing. Saw the aftermath of your fight outside."

'Something's wrong,' Allen concluded but still played along.

"Nothing I couoldn't handle. Shame about the residents though," he said as he went back to playing with the kittens. His hears had picked up heartbeats all around him, especially one from the direction the psychic wave came from.

'They have me surrounded. Probably sent the clone first because we share a common history. So they are stalling. For what though?' he concluded to himself. The scents of the ones surrounding was the same as the proteges. Supervoy came closer to him, a determined glint in his eyes.

"Listen, I just want to say I am sorry for this," Superboy said apologetically.

"Not as sorry as I am," Allen said before he moved faster than Superboy could comprehend, clutching him by his face and lifting him him. Superboy was stupefied for a moment before he sprang into action. His arms were not long enough to punch Allen on the face so he tried to free himself, only to fail spectacularly. Allen's grip on his head was vice like.

"Come out or I'll crush his head like a grape!" he warned, looking at the invisible girl while squeezing Superboy's head. The clone groaned in pain, his efforts to free himself becoming desperate to a point of trying to kick himself free, but Allen was like a steel block, he didn't budge or react. M'Gann quickly became visible, a terrified look on her face.

"Please, stop hurting him!" she begged him. Allen didn't bother with her, his senses already identifying what the others were doing.

The one that smelt like fish was stalking him from behind, the other that had a calm like heartbeat was in the rafters and the last one was standing still. He could feel the waves of psychic powers emanating from the girl meaning they were conversing telepathically. Immediately, he knew something was up. Considering what he had just done, it had to do with the government. He had thought this group were unlike the Avengers, that is, the government had no hold on them; guess he was wrong.

"I really hate this planet!" he sighed disappointedly. "Did you think you could ambush me with the power of friendship on your side?" Allen mocked them

Suddenly, he threw Superboy to the rafters right where Robin had prompted himself. Robin nearly had a heart attack when Superboy slammed into him out of nowhere, sending both of them flying off. M'Gann jumped into action, diving towards Allen to tackle him while Aqualada pounces towards him, his weapons drawn and ready.

However, Allen didn't even acknowledge their attacks, just blasted upwards, leaving a shockwave behind him. Metal, concrete and stone were pierced through like a hot knife through butter as he flew up, emerging in amdist exploding rocks and soil. He didn't stop there, going to Mach ten almost immediately and out of the planet in seconds.

....

BOOOOOOM!

The Leaguers heard the explosion, prompting them to look at the cause. Most of them could only see a dot fly out of My Justice and just disappear in an instant. But, the others like Wonder Woman and Shazam had managed to see who it was..

"What was that?" Green Lantern Hal Jordan asked in shock.

"That was our guest," Wonder Woman answered. "It appears he knows something was wrong and decided to take his leave."

"What about the children?" Aquaman asked, anxiously. (A/N: just remembered he existed, lol!). Batman tried to call Robin but he wasn't answering. This brought his anxiousness to an all time high, making him sprint towards Mt Justice. The others did the same, though Aquaman and Martian Manhunter were less reserved. As the fastest, Martian Manhunter got there first and immediately went to check on his niece.

"Are you alright?" he asked Miss Martian who nodded stiffly.

"Just a little shaken, nothing much. Robin and Superboy might be injured though," she answered, pointing at some rubble. Martian Manhunter used his telekinesis to lift them and was pleasantly surprised to see Superboy had used his body to shield the unconscious Robin.

"He's unconscious, a broken rib maybe but otherwise fine," Martian Manhunter diagnosed as Superboy carried his teammate out of the rubble. Aquaman arrived next and fussed over his protege before the rest arrived. Batman had a scowl when he saw Robin in the med bay, still unconscious.

"What happened?" he asked while his eyes were still glued to Robin. The proteges were silent, afraid to speak up for this was their blunder.

"Allen is telepathic," Martian Manhunter spoke up. Miss Martian had showed him what happened and his vast experience had deconstructed the entire scene to perfection. "Their mission was undone because we had no idea he was telepathic. M'Gann was the first to be discovered and from there the plan went downhill. Superboy was used as a wrecking ball to take Robin down, probably saving his life for if Allen had flown away while he was still up in the ceiling..." Batman didn't say anything but they could still feel his rage.

"We're sorry for our mistake," M'Gann spoke up.

"Don't be," Batman said as he walked into the ward Robin was in, "be better next time." He closed the door behind him, unbothered by the fact that his chilling words nearly made the young Martian melt in fear. If Batman had a superpower, then inflicting fear would be up there. Martian Manhunter gave his niece a comforting telepathic impulse, making her relax.

"Guess I have my work cut out for me," Black Canary sighed, trying to soothe the downtrodden proteges.

"I'm down for a hug," Kid Flash spoke up without missing a beat, buth shriveled under the glare given to him by the women in the League.

"Poor timing, kid," Green Lantern Hal Jordan pitied him
