Pilot

It has been five years since Henry arrived in this world, he spent the first four years in an Accelerated Dual-Degree Bachelor of Science Biology/Masters of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology program. It was also during this period that he managed to create a silk-like substance which was both bulletproof and fireproof, he made an entire wardrobe with the same material. This silk-like substance was simply an improved web fluid minus the adhesive.

He spent the last year living a simple life as a community college professor, having quit his job as a translator. He could have gotten other jobs that paid more, but he enjoyed teaching and had more flexible hours.

(MC POV)

It's been five years since my transmigration and I've done nothing noteworthy, at first I wanted to be an anti-hero but, I already had everything I needed and had enough money to indulge myself. Some people in my old world might bash me for not doing anything, but why should I risk my life for wealth I already possess. I am technically immortal, but immortals have a long history of being sealed for centuries or tortured for their gift of eternal life. Maybe I should have become a superhero, but I knew that heroes produce villains, add-in the fact that there wasn't much crime in my area and I had no reason to. I wasn't afraid; I just saw no reason to go out of my way for something that held no benefits.

Snapping out of my thoughts, I continued eating in the restaurant when I heard an explosion. Looking outside, I saw my 1967 Chevrolet Impala with the hood broken as a man wearing a bat costume and another man in green uniform bounced around in a green ball while Superman chased them. I was a little angry because they damaged my favourite car, but I knew that it was not their fault as they weren't familiar with each other yet and it must be significant if a Green Lantern was involved. Quickly moving to a secluded area, I changed into my super suit and followed them.

I was going for 500 words(my previous max in a chapter), but grammarly keeps giving me errors and I thought, why not just release it as it is and see how people react to it. Please comment your reactions and suggestions(aside from increasing length, grammarly won't let me make past 300 words without informing me of a mistake I don't know how to fix)

Personal Note: This is 353 word excluding the line breakers with a perfect score in grammarly.
