1 Rebirth!
A soul, seemingly lost in the void, wondered what had happened to him. He couldn't remember most of his life, not even his name, yet the only thing stopping him from going insane in the loneliness were the few memories he had, which he kept replaying so he won't forget them.
Suddenly, he found himself in an area filled with stars as a bright ball appeared before him and started speaking.
[Error, Error, an soul has escaped from the rebirth cycle to the void. His state seems stable Searching for possible solutions... Terms of reincarnation met. Greetings lost soul, I am the rebirth system employed by the higher dimensions to guide you back to live another life. Host has reached one of the conditions of reincarnation or transmigration. Does the soul accept it?]
The soul stared blankly at the screen in front of him showing the yes and no options, and didn't feel anything. He knew the old him would have jumped in joy, but after the isolation in void, he's more cautious , if anything.
'Well, something is better than nothing, I guess.' Thinking that, he clicked the yes option.
The screen changed to show two wheels, one showed the 'world' while other showed 'origin universe of race'.
The system then started explaining,[ The system will decide two things, your destination world, and the origin universe of the race you will be born as. For example, if you got MHA world with origin species from Invincible, you could choose your species as human or Viltrumite, as you desire. Choosing human may also lead you to not only gaining powers they do from the invincible universe, but you also have the option to select a quirk, since it's the norm of the universe you'll be reincarnating in. WARNING- You cannot choose a race which is born Omnipotent, Omnipresent or Omniscient. It could have the potential to do so. Shall we begin the process?]
"Yes." The soul said, somewhat surprised he could speak without a mouth. The roulette deciding the world and stopped on 'DC'. The soul couldn't help but curse his luck for going to such a dangerous place. Though he was glad it wasn't DBZ or Resident Evil. The second roulette rolled, and the wheel stopped at 'Marvel'.
'Is this a coincidence?' The soul thought, as he felt is eye twitch, even in his soul form.
A screen opened in front of him showing the different races. Kree, Skrulls, Protoss(Asgardians/ Olympians), Eternals, to Homo sapiens(Normal), Homo-Superiors(Mutants) and Homo-Kreesians(Inhumans). He scrolled for a while when his eyes fell on one option. 'Homo - Perfecton:- A race which contain potential to be both, mutant and inhuman.'
The soul was impressed by this option. He could also gain meta human abilities also if he chose this. But, suddenly he was hit by an idea. Thinking about it, he decided to ask. "Hey system, is it possible to combine species?"
[DING-DING-DING!!! Host has managed to find the hidden function. For this, host will be granted 2 perks.] The soul heard, as the species tab split showing two tabs, saying 'Species 1' and 'Species 2'. He hoped to get more than just two, but the system denied it. he sighed and filled both tabs.
For the first, he chose 'Eternal' and for the other, he chose 'Homo-perfecton'. Entering it, a character customization tab opened up with a powers tab under it. Apparently, the species only provided the limits, as in how many powers could it hold. For powers, you could choose a character, or just choose a power.
"System, if the character I choose has some mental or physical issues, will I get them too?"
[Negative, only the powers, and you would have to train to reach it's full potential.] The system explained.
He set his appearance similar to Caster Gilgamesh, just with blue eyes. There were 4 slots for power, Eternal, Mutant, inhuman and magic.
In his Eternal slot, he wrote- Complete Sentry. Basically the same as when Sentry accepted the void and became even more stronger, and the tab accepted it, opening a new character design tab to insert an evolved appearance. He chose the option of Anos Voldigoad, just a little buff, not too much, and a little longer black hair. He also made the uniform similar to the main character from 'Eminence in Shadows', just a bit of white highlights here and there.
For the mutant powers, he chose a connection to a realm of my own. It represents the relation of universal forces and matter. It also has a library with knowledge. As for the abilities it grants, it's like a combination of Vulcan, Captain Marvel, Magik and Blue Marvel. The abilities need to grow though, so no getting too strong too quick.
For the inhuman slot, he chose Sage's eye from God Of Highschool, except it also comes with fundamental force manipulation as well. And he combined it with Magic eyes of destruction from Anos Voldigoad.
The magic slot was filled with 'All archer Gilgamesh's knowledge, affinity, skills and weapons'. Unfortunately, the system interfered, making it so that Gate of Babylon is a unique magic to him, with the stronger the item, the more the mana cost.
Satisfied with his status, he submitted it.[ All terms accepted, what are the perks host wants?]
"I want my DNA to look completely human and no matter who or how they search, they won't find anything from it. Second, I don't want any clones of me made, no matter what method use."
[Terms accepted, beginning transmigration. Hope you have a good life...] The system said as the soul got sucked into a dimensional hole behind him.
*near a barn, Smallville Kansas*
In a small truck passing by the farmlands, you could see a couple sitting in. But there expressions were far from happy. They were Jonathan and Martha Kent, who just learned the fact that Martha can't have kids. They both sat silently and when the reached there farm, they noticed a glowing meteorite crashing near them.
"What was that?" Martha asked, a bit scared.
"I'll check" Jonathan said and went ahead. They reached the impact side, to discover a pod, with a 'S' on the side. They stood at some distance, when suddenly a portal opened nearby, scaring them, and an object came through and crashed near them. It was another pod, but it showed no symbols on it.
The couple stood confused, when both pods opened up. The first pod showed a small baby with black hair, sleeping peacefully, while the other had a baby, little older than the first one with blond hair, sleeping as well.
The couple stood still in shock, when Martha walked forward and checked on both.
"Martha, what are you doing?" Jonathan asked his wife, looking at the kids with caution.
"Jonathan, look at both. They're kids." Martha said.
"In strange pods, like the aliens." He said.
"And does it matter. In fact, with my condition, aren't they a gift from god" She said with tears, looking at them. Jonathan couldn't argue hearing her. And he also looked at both softly, without the caution he showed before.
"So, you want to take them in" He asked his wife, who nodded quickly. He chuckled and said, "Well, I'll have to take care of these before the authorities come." He said looking at the pods. "You thought of names" He asked.
"Yes, the older one will be Adrian and the younger on will be Clark. Adrian Kent and Clark Kent." She said, holding them both, while Jonathan stood smiling at his now happy wife.
*15 years later*
"*sigh* This is really annoying" Clark said, sighing in tiredness, which he couldn't get.
"Oh, you have read stories of the JSA, though them we can be sure there are others will powers as well. You need to learn how to control them, or else..." Clark heard someone say above him and replied.
"Else, I cannot call them my powers if I couldn't even control them. I know Adrian, it's just... hearing the people so far, hearing their happiness is fine, but hearing those that are crying for help and suffering, while not being able to do anything.." Clark said, biting his lip.
"Hurts. More of a reason for you to get stronger. Right now, we can't afford to make other's find out about this, or Ma and Pa would be in danger. When you have to stand up for yourself, you can do whatever you want, okay?" Adrian said, jumping down from the tree.
When Adrian realized he is Superman's brother, he was overjoyed. Both for having a loving family, and having powers. But unlike his brother, all Adrian had was peak physical fitness and a smart brain. Though he kept his hopes up that his powers will unlock soon.
"Indeed, what Adri is saying is correct. We don't want to supress your powers Clark, but the people are scared of the unknown. They don't necessarily have a positive outlook." Jonathan said, coming to them. "Come, I have to show both of you something." He said and lead the way.
The three reached a shack in the middle of the farm and entered it. Adrian knew it was finally time for him to learn his origins. They entered it, and Jonathan removed a cloth covering the stuff, showing two pods.
"When we were coming back from Martha's check-up, we found a meteorite crash in the farm. It was this pod Clark. this is where we found you." Jonathan said, while Clark looked at the pod in awe. He noticed an indent, same as his locket and inserted it. This made an hologram open up, showing Jor'El.
"Greetings Kal'El or Clark now, I see you have finally turned on the ship" He said
"You know me?" Clark asked.
After this, Jor explained his relation and about the El house of Krypton, the origin of Krypton, it's population and then, the problems and war that happened. After that, he explained how they had to send Clark away. Then he thanked Jonathan for raising his son and told how he was an AI now and there is a ship in the Artic circle, and Clark should activate it at the right time.
Clark was in tears after it, while Jonathan hugged him and said he'll always be his son, while Adrian stood away, smiling at them. Clark looked at him, and smiled as well.
Jonathan wiped his tears and turned towards Adrian and said, "Well Adri, your turn. Yours'... interesting." Jonathan said, making Adrian raise a brow.
"How so?" He asked.
"Well, it's because your ship... came out of a hole. A portal, if you will." Jonathan explained.
"But Clark said my cells look human?" Adrian asked in confusion.
"Well, only one way to find out" Clark said, looking at Adrian's ship. Adrian nodded and stepped near it, and put his palm one one part, showing an hand print, causing it to hum and a hologram opened up, showing an man in an... eccentric outfit, with Golden hair and blue eyes.
"I see you have managed to unlock your ship, son. I am Icaris, an Eternal, the protectors of humanity, and your Father" The hologram explained, making Adrian's jaw hang in shock.
