1 Chapter One

Tyler is a 20 year old boy, who is isolated from the rest of the world. He's a socially awkward person. Tyler's parents were the reason why he became a socially awkward person. Tyler's parents Linda and John were business magnets. They were known for being unique and successful in their own field.

One fine morning, Linda found John on the couch and thought it was the correct moment to tell him about the thing that has been going on in her mind.

"Morning John" Linda greeted him, "Morning honey" John replied. "So this thing has been going on my mind for a while now, and I wanted to let you know about it. Have some time?" Linda asks. "Sure Linda" John replies while he's drinking his coffee and drops the newspaper to the side. "So I've been wondering if we could homeschool Tyler?" Linda says nervously. A frown appears on John's face, "Linda, why would you want to do that? He's our son!" John says. "Exactly, that's the reason I want him to be home schooled. Who knows, maybe in future we may become more involved in our field and become more busy. Then who's gonna look after Tyler? My parents said not to even look at them or talk to them for any kind of reason." Linda says. "Lemme give it a thought" John says and goes back to reading his newspaper.

Linda walks back into her room with an irritating expression on her face because of the unexpected answer from John. Even though she wasn't his first wife and obviously not the biological mother of Tyler. She actually cares about him, but she somehow seemed to be more suspicious than ever before.

"Mummy, can I have some pancakes?" little Tyler asks his mother. Linda tries to keep her irritation inside her and tries to put on the best act of the day. "Sure my baby!" she fake smiles as she ruffles Tyler's hair.

Linda is Tyler's foster mom. His biological mom passed away after giving birth to Tyler due to health complications.

Linda came into Tyler's life when he was 1 and a half year old and from that time she was his mother. He loved her all her heart and soul and tried to make her as happy as he could.

Finally it was time for Tyler to go to school and socialize with his fellow peers. Linda doesn't want Tyler to go to school and instead of it she wanted him to be home schooled.

At first Tyler liked the idea a lot and persuaded his father to agree to with Linda. Poor Tyler, only if he knew what was coming for him in the future.

Tyler wakes up to his irritating alarm clock. He groans as he gets out of his bed. He regrets his choice of persuading his dad for getting home schooled. His life had become a changeless cycle. He was in his last year of his high-school and it's his almost graduation time. He felt how idiotic it would be receiving your graduation paper from the fax machine. He wanted to know how the outer world looks at least once in his lifetime. But pandemic hit him like a load truck of sadness. His only way to kill the time was playing with his Playstation. He wasn't even allowed to use any kind of social media apps or anything that makes him know about the outer world. He secretly uses Google search engine even though he is restricted to use it. Thanks to Linda's restrictions he got to know many useful things about the world out of his house. He learnt hacking from YouTube. And Linda can never ever know that what he's using and doing in his room, because he erases the history of whatever he does. His home is like a prison for him. He is like a life time prisoner in there. He wants something or someone to pull him out of his house.

He's got his gaming buddies and he calls them his homies.

"Alright homies, gotta go! Linda would be coming in soon!" Tyler says as he relaxes on his chair after playing for a long time. Linda comes in after half an hour he logs off from his computer. He makes his bed neatly and opens his book to read and Linda enters his room making an annoying sound out of her heels clicking against the marble flooring.

"Hey mum! How are you doing?" Tyler tries to be as cheerful as he can. "Tyler wear something nice baby, we will be going out of your room and house today." she says and leaves. He feels shocked and collapses on the bed. Linda didn't even allow him to come out when his dad expired, but has now initiated to take him out of his prison? He feels like he isn't a prisoner anymore.

He picks out the best outfits he has and styles his hair into curls. He, for the first time, looks into the mirror to see how he looks and he gets mesmerized by his own beauty. His beautiful green orbs light up in the light of his room, his brown hair imperfectly yet beautifully curled, his oversized hoodie go along with his black ripped jeans and for the first time he loved himself. Linda calls out for him and gets stunned by how beautiful he looks.

"Mom I'm ready!" for the first time he calls Linda 'Mom' whole heartedly and she feels the warmness in his voice and love in his eyes. She always wanted to do something for him but she always ended up not thinking about it. Since it was the first time she ever did something for him, she always wanted that warmness of his voice and love in his eyes showed only to her.

"Okay let's go Tyler!" she takes his hand and runs out of the house and enters into the car.

"Where are we going to mom?" Tyler asks and she replies with a smile on her face which is unlikely her, "We are going to grocery shopping my honeybun".

He didn't know how to react but all he knew was act mature and not to act like he had been locked up in his room for years. He was admiring the whole city's night look. He loved it so much. He wanted this freedom forever. He wanted to be selfish for one time, but his goodness took over him and he couldn't go out of his Linda's way and betray her. He thought that she would be hurting if he betrays her.

"Mom, can I come along too?" Tyler asks Linda to which Linda responds with a dry 'yes'.

He roams around in the grocery store and finds everything fascinating yet acts like a mature man. He sees many new things and wants to try them all. He puts all in the trolley and goes to find out more. He gets caught up in reading a book's summary which caught his attention. He wanted to buy it but he already had many books in his room lying there.

He goes to his mom and says that he's all done and doesn't need anything else. Linda brought them all and sends him back to his room and locks it up from outside.

"You will get these sort of rides whenever you behave nicely or I feel good about your behavior." Linda says and his heart breaks.

"So, this is all a one time thing" he thinks and changes into his nightwear. He tries to sleep but that one book's summary is all that is roaming around his head. He didn't know much about it so he decided to ask his homies the next day coz he cannot access the internet at night. He takes his book and starts to read from where he stopped. Unknowingly he falls asleep while reading it.
