9 Stop Talking

Zhou Lu was already dressed neatly. He turned to glance at her and patted her head comfortingly. "Don't mess around."

Then, he left without looking back.

Ye Nuan Nuan saw that he had really left, and she was so angry that her lips curled into a cold smile, and threw the pillow at the door.

There was a car accident that night. Three cars collided, causing two deaths and eight injuries. Among them was a pregnant woman. They were rushed to the nearest First People's Hospital. The doctors and nurses were all busy.

That was why no one picked up Zhou Lu's call.

As soon as Zhou Lu arrived at the hospital, he was dragged away for surgery. Doctor Zhao from the Cardiothoracic Department, who had just received the notice, had also arrived at the hospital.

The hospital had originally planned to arrange for Dr. Zhao to perform the surgery, but Zhou Lu happened to be here, so they wanted him to do it.

From the corner of his eye, Zhou Lu noticed that water was seeping out of the bathroom door. A bad feeling welled up in his heart, and he immediately smashed the door lock and broke in.

He saw Su Jian lying on the wet floor. Her face was pale and she was in a semi-conscious state.

Zhou Lu's expression suddenly turned nervous. He carried her and rushed to the emergency room.

Fortunately, she was discovered in time and only had a slight concussion which wasn't too serious.

The nurse forgot to turn off the tap when she left the bathroom. That was why Su Jian slipped and fell when she went to the bathroom. The hospital was also responsible for not discovering it in time.

Jiang Yan bought a light back immediately after she found out that Su Jian had slipped and fallen. She was in the ward telling Su Jian that she had to be held accountable when Zhou Lu came to check on her.

Jiang Yan's anger could not be appeased. She did not care that the other party was Zhou Lu and vented her anger, "Your hospital is too negligent. If I didn't call you last night and something were to happen to Ah Jian, would you be able to bear the responsibility?"

This morning, the careless nurse kowtowed to Su Jian in the ward to apologize. She said that she had people to take care of at home and Su Jian pitied her and let her go without asking for any compensation.

In the first place, it was embarrassing enough that Jiang Yan had to call Zhou Lu so late at night. She would not hold the hospital responsible.

Zhou Lu glanced at her expressionlessly before his gaze fell on Jiang Yan, "Miss Jiang, please take good care of your friend. Or, perhaps find a more reliable nurse for her next time so that no one would cause trouble."

Su Jian blushed. She covered her face with her hands, not wanting him to see her.
