Elective

All of the students of Duemi Academia need to complete all the courses for each semester. There are five basic subjects for the courses: Magic Spell, History, Domain, Physical, and lastly Formation.

What differs Duemi Academia from other Academia in the continent is the elective classes. Elective class is the subject that each student needs to take based on their capabilities. Three elective classes are needed to be chosen from which are Combat, Magic, and Intelligence.

Combat is for the people that are good in a physical fight and close-range fight while using their domain power whereas magic is for the people that are good at using their domain power in large amounts and long-range. Intelligence is for the people that are decent in both close-range and long-range.

All of the graduates from the Academia will get to choose their occupation based on their performance in the Academia. Most of the students want to become a soldier as their occupation that people are wanting from as they will get a lot of perk of benefit by being a top rank soldier in the kingdom.

Elites and strong students in the Duemi Academia mostly choose Magic as their elective classes while several of them are choosing Intelligence if their capabilities of domain power are not up to par with the standard of the elites. Combat is for the ordinary student as they are the ones who had the lowest domain capacity in their body compared to others.

Bobby choose Combat as his elective class because his domain power is not suited in the large area's war and he also wants to increase his capabilities in physical combats to ensure that he didn't have to use his domain power too much.

In the combat classes today, Sir Rye teaches one of the battle tactics that can be used in the war. The tactic is by putting the majority of the people on the left side while the others are on the middle and right side. The left side will gank up the opposition while the middle and the right side will slowly come toward the left side in the rear and join them when the left side gets into the backline of the opposition.

The student is being put into the formation while the opposition will consist of the dummy that will fight them. The dummy is one of Sir Rye's domain power which is made of clay. Sir Rye has a Domain of Earth which he can use the earth to build something from it.

"Okay, all of you stay in the formation and only start when I said so. There will be no domain power that can be used and if any one of you uses it, I deduct your marks for the test later. You can only use your weapon to fight. All of you can go home once you clear out all the dummies. Make sure to remember your role in the formation and don't act alone."

Sir Rye raises his hands and starts the training. The left side follow the tactics and it's going smoothly but as they reach the backline of the dummy, the middle side and right side is being pushed back, thus they can't get into the left side rear in time and led the left side rear to be swarm by the incoming dummy.

Bobby is being put on the right side but he messed up by going into the backline of the enemy by himself without following the tactic.

'I just want to beat some people up cause Luna annoyed me yesterday…how come I already arrived in the backline… is the dummy is too weak?'

Seeing Bobby battling the dummy with ease with only using his fist makes other students in his sides follow him but when they try to battle the dummy, they can't cope with battling many dummies at once, thus making them pushed back by the dummy.

"Ya!! like I said earlier, you need to control yourselves when going out from the formation. Everyone else will fuck up in the line if you going like that!!" said Rye towards Bobby while stroking the canes on his hands.

Sir Rye stop the training and gave an earful to Bobby for his mistakes in acting like that in the training. After several minutes, the training was held once again and it is going smoothly this time as they don't want to hear another shouting.

After a long day at classes today, Bobby arrives at the treehouses and he met Hans who is still in his uniform looking anxious in the room.

"Hans… what's wrong? did you get beat up in Magic classes today?"

Hans finally notice Bobby at the door and he said in a low voice

"…..it seems Kingdom of Anadia in trouble… some bandits pretending to be the Kingdom of Anadia's soldier and began rioting around the outskirts of the Kingdom of Holt. Lord Dunne already said it is not our Kingdoms doing but it seems the sentiments of the public seems in favor that the Kingdom of Anadia orchestrated it."
