CHAPTER 3: Friends in this apocalyptic world

"Hello?" you ask

"Hello Human, i am GT-6718 Pro Atlas or call me G7..i will serve you as a information broker and will accompany you in your travels" said the metal ball or G7 with a automatic voice without any tone, or accent.

"Um, so what can you do?" still perplexed by this robot if you say but its too advance to be created by human.

"I can give you information if you have the necessary clearance level for the information you needed and i can be a worthwhile companion" said G7 with a automatic machine voice

"So how do i get the necessary clearance level for information?" you ask as you sat on the chair as G7 hovered near you.

"By achieving achievements, killing high class monster, giving informations and ultimately destroying a portal" said G7

"Hmm..so what information can i access for now?" you ask with a calm tone

"Current situation of your world, classes of monster, how to gain basic Atlas and what is Atlas" said G7. Something peeked your attention and it is

"What is Atlas?" with your excitement welling up you patiently waits for the answer.

"Cyborg Enhancement for maximizing the human's capabilities. Human's can slot up to 20 Atlas at the same time. Atlas can be found in meteorites which is like a crates coming from our =clearance level= (too low)" as it weirded out the last sentence.

"So are you one of those Atlas?" you ask

"Yes. Any questions?" asked the G7

"Give me all the information that is allowed in my clearance level currently" you demanded

"Understood. The current situation of your world is 56% liberated by Xenomorphs and Dicasus monster, with 78% of the whole population was killed by the first day of this crisis. My evaluation on this is in about a year all human, buildings and all related to humans will be wiped out from the existence while it will take 5 years to exhaust all valuable materials from the earth and ultimately destroying it and about 100 years the solar system will be gone. Now we proceed to the Classes of entity that is situated in Earth. There are currently 7 classes of entity and the most powerful entity that appeared on Earth is Class 05 Entity with 2 Class 03 Entity coming in about a 6 weeks. Class 07 is the same of the power of 10 humans . Class 06 can defeat 50 humans. Class 05 can defeat 500 humans. Class 04 can defeat 2000 humans. Class 03 can defeat 500 Class 06. Class 02 can defeat 1000 Class 03 and Class 01 can defeat any number of Class 02 and below entity and a fellow Class 01. Class 03 and above only appear if the world is truly liberated or a champion was born. If you have 2 to 5 items you are considered as a Cyborg, If you have 6 to 10 atlas you are considered as a Atlas Soldier. If you have 11 to 15 you are considered as a Apex Survivor and if you have 16 to 19 you are considered as Hope and if you reach 20 Atlas you will be announced as Champion of the Earth. " explained G7 as all information takes longer to process. You are worried about the future of humankind and you are scared of what will happen to you and your family.

"Dammit, i need to go where my family is" you decided as you stands up and starts to look around.

"G7 what is the general direction on where my family is? and what is their status?" you ask in a hurry worried what happened to them. "PROCESSING INFORMATION PLEASE WAIT..... Your Parents are situated in Rechas in a bunker. To the north of here if you continue going north you'll reach your destination. The distance is 1176 miles. All of them are fine but worried about you..that's all" As G7 screens turn off. As started floating near you.

"Thank you..but going straight north would mean going through that creepy forest so i should take a detour" as you walked west towards the City of Vernan where there are roads connecting to Rechas.

As you walked and walked and take some break to eat some food. You noticed that its already 3pm. If you settle now to a abandoned building you might get in trouble but if stay near the forest there might get you killed.

As you walked for 30 minutes G7 turned on and suddenly goes near you with a warning sign in its screen.

"Beware humans nearby. 2 girls..no atlas..considered safe" as the screen turned off and G7 went to your backpack.

"Girls?" you wondered as you see 2 teenagers walking towards you as one of the girls aimed her gun at you while the other gestures her to stop.

"Hey!!hi!" shouted the girl who is gesturing her friend to stop with a jolly tone with a smiling expression as she walks towards you while the other one is stopped at her tracks.

"Hi! My name is Cassandra and thats Alex..what's your name?" she asked with a bright smile and a ecstatic tone as she stretches her hand for a shake.

"Hi..My name is David..Nice to meet you in this wonderful world" you said with a half smile and you grab her hand and shakes it. Even though you don't trust them yet, the optimistic nature of Cassandra gives you hope on what's to come. Cassandra is attractive blond with a slender build and a tattoo on her arm as she wears crop top and jeans. While Alex is wearing military jacket and military pants while wearing a hat that barely covers her brown long hair and a stern look that hides her charming face.

As Cassandra chuckles while Alex walked over to you with a stern and unmoving expression suggesting that she doesn't trust you at all.

"So why are you going towards Vernan?" ask Alex with an intimidating tone while Cassandra steps in

"No..you musn't..it is crawling with monsters" said Cassandra with a pained expression and sad tone.

"Well i need to reach my parents in Rechas..so i need to take a detour and head Vernan first..i suggest you guys don't go to Dectas..its has a lot of monsters and humans battling there" you said with a worried look.

"No worries, we can handle ourselves" replied Alex with a stern and emotionless expression

"How about we follow you..since we were just wondering about anyway" says Cassandra with a big smile

"No!...sorry but we can't trust you..lets go Cassandra" Alex said as she grabs Cassandra's arm but Cassandra shakes her off with a cute pout and proceeded to walk towards you

"I mean sure.." you replied but you never let your guard down. You don't trust them yet but it is not obvious beyond your smile

"Great!" said Cassandra as she tugs your arm while Alex reluctantly follows behind.

"So tell me about yourself" asked Cassandra with a smile

"21, Engineer, how about you?" you replied with a half-hearted tone

"Oh..well 19 and im a college student and i study BS Accountant while- as Alex cuts her and started introducing herself.

"19, college student and i study criminology" says Alex as she walks past both of you. Cassandra ignored it and looked at you.

"So anything else?" Cassandra ask

"Well, what do you want to know?" You ask her a question back. As Cassandra gives you arather cute smile

"Are you single?" she ask while pointing at your face with a cute smirked as Alex turned around

"Cassandra!! Its not our business!" Alex shouted with a fit of rage but Cassandra smiled at her.

"Well its my business" as she throws you a hint

"Nope, never have time to get one...and never have one" you replied with a smile as Cassandra grows a big grin on her face

"So your a vi- as Cassandra was about to finish her sentence Alex blocks her mouth with her hand and looked at her as she grabs her hand and the both of them walked further ahead of you as Cassandra was mumbling something under her hand while you stayed there perplexed.

As the group walks for several minutes silently. Cassandra was able to escape Alex's grip as she laughs at her face as she runs toward you while Alex chases her. Cassandra circles you as well as Alex chasing her which you find kind of amusing.
