Chapter 191

I woke up to the sound of knocking on my door. I furrowed my brows as I sat up on my bed, rubbing the sleepiness from my eyes.

The knocking continued and I spoke in a low voice.

"Come in Seb."

There was silence on the other side before I heard a woman's voice.

"My lady, we are here to help you get ready." She said.

I pondered for a moment before remembering that I sent Sebastiene on a different mission. I came here without any maids and now, I don't have a butler.

Sigh..

"Come in." I told them.

Two maids came in carrying drinking water and some light snacks.

"Good morning lady Melody." They both greeted with a bow.

My morning routine was the same as it was back in Westreon. Except for not having my butler beside me, everything else went smoothly. After having breakfast with the family, I went out for some training with the knights until lunch time. While having lunch, me and my sisters decided to take a tour around the royal capital, disguised.

So that afternoon, we went out wearing commoner clothes and even changed our hair color to black and our eyes to brown. Loki and some of the knights came with us especially Haktor who has never been in the capital and Marionne who was from the capital. They all wore normal clothes, except they had light armor inside their clothes.

"Sis, look over there!" Uriel said excitedly as she pointed at a fancy dress shop.

We were going around on foot to mix with the crowd. But with faces like ours, even if we did changed our hair and eye colors, we still stood out like sore thumbs. Everywhere we go, people would stare at us and some men even tried to hit on us!

"Sister Mel, what is that?" Athy suddenly stopped and sniffed the air.

Seeing her do that made us stop and take a whiff too. That was when we noticed the savory aroma wafting through the air. It was so fragrant that even the knights swallowed hard.

"It smells so good!" One of the knights exclaimed.

"It's coming from there." Uriel pointed at a small alley beside one of the famous restaurants in the capital.

"Let's go check!" Athy walked quickly towards the alley followed by Uriel and the knights.

"Don't run!" I shouted as I followed behind them with Marionne.

Upon reaching where the scent was coming from, I saw the others standing outside a fairly small restaurant. They were all just standing there, looking at the sign.

"What are you doing? Why are you not going in?" I asked when I reached them.

Athy did not say anything and just pointed at the notice on the door.

'Nobu Ramyeon.'

I was stunned. Ramyeon was a famous noodle back on Earth, but someone was actually selling it here?

Just when I was about to ask, a tall, black-haired man came out the door carrying a bowl. He stopped in his tracks when he saw our group standing there.

"Uh. Hello." He greeted politely.

"Ehem!" I cleared my throat before replying. "Hello. Is this shop open?"

"Yes, it is, my lady." He answered politely. "You can come in and take a seat anywhere you'd like."

"Okay." I nodded and motioned for everyone to get inside. The man did not follow us immediately but I saw him put the bowl he was holding on the ground. It made me curious but I did not mind it too much and sat with my sisters inside.

The man came in after a few moments and went behind the counter.

"What would you like to order?" He asked and pointed upwards. "The menu is here."

We all looked up and read the menu on the board. That was when we realized that the whole menu was food from Earth! Me and my sisters looked at each other excitedly. This was indeed a rare find.

"I would like a bowl of beef ramen, crispy chicken, and soft steamed pork." I ordered. "Also a bottle of soju."

The man behind the counter wrote my order but looked up when he heard my last item.

"I don't serve alcohol to minors." He said clearly. "How about some orange juice instead?"

Hearing this, both of my sisters started giggling.

I forgot I was still a kid.

"Ehem." I tried to cough away my embarrassment. "That would be nice."

After taking everyone's orders, the man then went to the kitchen and we started hearing chopping noises before the wonderful aroma of food filled the air. Just the scent was enough to make us salivate while waiting.

"Sis, do you think..?" Uriel did not continue what she wanted to say and just nodded towards the kitchen.

"He probably is." I answered, looking at the menu. "I wonder where he got the soju?"

Soju is a popular alcoholic drink from Korea and gained popularity in the Asian market. It is packaged in a small green bottle and that was what we thought the man was selling too.

After almost half an hour later, the man came out of the kitchen carrying bowls of noodles and placed it on our table. He then proceeded to serve everyone else's orders.

"Smells so good!" Uriel said as she took a whiff of her food before taking her spoon and fork to eat.

The faces my sisters made when they tasted the food was obviously telling me it was good. Soon, sounds of eating and chewing filled the restaurant. The man just stood behind the counter with a nonchalant look on his face.

When we were done eating, Loki payed for everyone. We thanked the man behind the counter and went out again.

"That was really good!" Athy exclaimed while stretching her hands.

"We should come back sometime soon." Uriel added.

"Sisters.." I called the two of them which made them turn to me. "He passed me this."

I showed them a piece of folded paper that the man at the shop slipped on my hand when he served me food.
