Chapter 137

I stared at the little demon.

He really looks like Sebastiene!! What the heck?

The boy's blank eyes slowly moved to look at me.

Hiss!

The hiss startled me but I did not move a bit and just stared at him. When he noticed that I was not reacting, he slowly moved his head to face me. His lips were cracked and his face was dirty and full of wounds. His hair was a mess, like a bird's nest on top of his head.

I slowly raised my hand, palm facing up, inviting him to touch me.

The little boy frowned and stared at my hand before moving his body. He placed his legs beneath his body in a kneeling position on the seat and leaned toward my hand carefully. He did not touch me and I also did not make any move to touch him.

He looked at my palm then sniffed the tip of my fingers. He backed off with a frown and started scrubbing his nose.

The f*ck? Does my hand smell badly for him to react like that?

I had an urge to smell it for myself but decided not to and continues to wait.

"Blood!" The little boy spoke as he looked at me. His voice was raspy as if his throat was dry. "Smell."

"I had to fight earlier to protect you and the others." I replied calmly.

"No-no put sharpies?" He asked is a raspy voice. "Sharpes put put me."

"I have a sword." I shrugged. "Is that a sharpie?"

"No." He replied with a frown. "Sharpies are put sick to me."

I did not get what he said but I just shook my head. "No, I don't."

He stared at me for some time. Then very slowly, put his tiny hand in mine.

"I black sharpies." He said with a determined tone. His face looked proud as if he did something worthy of praise.

"Okay." I nodded as I held his hand. "Good job."

The little boy smiled at me before he jumped down the seat and moved close to me with saying anything.

"Let's go out?" I asked him in a soft voice and he nodded.

I led the way out of the carriage without letting go of his hand. I went down assisted by Haktor but the little boy flinched and held my hand tightly when he saw Haktor.

Hiss!

I turned to look at the little boy. Haktor must have scared him with his oppressing appearance.

"He is safe." I told the boy and even tapped Haktor on the abdomen. "He won't hurt you."

The boy looked at Haktor and how he did not reacted when I tapped him. He then stepped closer and got out of the carriage.

I opened my other arm to carry him which surprised Haktor and the others.

I have carried my sisters when they were young so I am quite proficient with taking care of the boy when carrying him.

He was surprisingly light, too light that I worry if he is also suffering from malnutrition.

"Haktor, come with me to see Elaheh." I told the general who nodded and immediately led the way to the dungeon.

As we walked towards the dungeon, I saw the surprised looks of the knights and maids who saw me with a little boy in my arms. Some offered to carry him but Haktor immediately told them to help the others instead.

When we reached the dungeon, I took the boy to one of the rooms and sat him on the bed. He kept on holding my hand and not letting go.

"Haktor, go find Elaheh for me and tell her I have a toddler." I instructed the general as I sat on the bed beside the little boy.

Haktor bowed and quickly left to find Elaheh.

"Little boy, what's your name?" I asked him.

The little boy looked at me confusedly and frown. "Name?"

"Yes, name." I nodded and pointed at him. "Your name. What do they call you?"

The boy just tilted his head and stared at me.

I sighed.

"Mel." I pointed at myself and then pointed at him. "What is your name?"

The little boy frowned and pointed at me. "Myel." He then pointed at himself, "name."

'Ohh boy.' I thought to myself but smiled at the boy. I can't lose my patience here. I tried doing it a few more time but he does not seem to understand.

"Lady Mel, I have brought her." Hkator suddenly arrived with Elaheh by his side.

"Elaheh, can you check on him?" I asked. "He seems to be the youngest one here."

Elaheh took one look at the little boy and frowned.

"Miss, he is on drugs." She said. "A type of relaxant drug."

I looked at the little boy who was holding my hand and staring at Elaheh.

"Sharpie." He whispered coldly.

"Where?" I asked and the little boy pointed at Elaheh with his tiny finger.

Haktor and I turned to look at the calm looking Elaheh who pulled a syringe from her pocket. Seeing the syringe, the little boy flinched and hissed at Elaheh.

"Sharpie. Die"
