Chapter 128

The three of them made their way towards me with the robed woman behind them.

"My lady, let me introduce you to Miss Emelia Green, or better known to us as Facies Milia." Sebastiene introduced the robed woman.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Lady Melody Castellan." The woman said as she took off her hood. "I am Emelia Green, an elf from the yellow wood forest."

I stared at the beautiful blond girl standing in front of me. Her green eyes stared at me directly without any hint of fear. Her pointed ears sticking out of her hair adorned with tiny hooped earrings.

"What is an elf like you doing in a place like this?" I asked her with a slight frown. "Elves never leave their homes and are always in groups, right?"

"Yes, that is true." She replied. "But in my case, it is different."

"How so?" I asked as I crossed my arms on my chest.

Milia was stunned to hear a little girl like me, talking to her. Questioning her. I can even see the side of her mouth twitch a little.

"I am a tracker, someone who could go in and out of the forest at will." She replied and let her eyes roam around behind me where the knights as taking the guards into the carriages. "I'm sorry, but what are your knights doing?"

I looked back and then looked at her.

"Those are the people who took the strengthening pills. They are suffering from the repercussions of consuming an incomplete pill." I answered her. "We are taking them back to see if our alchemist can do something to turn them back to normal or something."

"Alchemist?" She asked, puzzled.

I looked at Sebastiene and Miss Bloom, who also looked confused as Milia.

"Ehem." I cleared my throat lightly. "I mean there is someone in our ranks who studies poisons, potions and pills. I am hoping that that person is able to find a way to cancel the side effects of the pill."

"Oh." The elf stared at me for a moment before nodding. She then turned her head to look at the people in brown uniform. "You said you have a person who studies poisons, that means that she can create antidotes too right?"

I nodded.

"Are those people poisoned?" I asked nodding towards the people behind her.

"I am not sure." She shook her head lightly. "They were fed with pills and injected with different things. Some of them have already died and some have developed rashes. I am hoping that your people can help them."

"I won't hesitate to, but they are not my people." I looked at her. "I am only responsible for my people, beyond that, they are the responsibilities of their masters. If they want to get help from my people, they need to pay."

Milia looked dejectedly at me.

"I understand." She sighed. "Those people were taken away from their homes and families. They have been imprisoned since then. I doubt they have anything on them worth anything."

"They have themselves." I shrugged. "If they agree, they could get treatment now and pay later."

Milia gasped at what I said and smiled brightly. Her green eyes tearing up. "That would truly be wonderful!"

"But we are lacking carriages to move them all at the same time." I said to her and I looked at Sebastiene. "Seb, group them into three, the ones who need immediate attention, the ones who have rashes or anything on them and the clean ones. Do not let those with rashes mix with the others, they might be contagious."

"But where do we keep them, my lady?" Sebastiene asked.

"Take them to the dungeon." I answered, unbothered.

Milia was startled by my answer and looked at Sebastiene for help.

"Unlike what you are thinking, the dungeon of House Castellan have different areas, one is for prisoners and the other side is used as a quarantine area for contagious diseases. The second one has windows and proper beds and looks like any other room in an inn." Sebastiene explained.

"Oh. I-I'm sorry for misunderstanding." Milia apologized.

"It's nothing." I waved my hand at her. "The name would have worried anyone who has no idea of it."

"You should start separating them so we can send the ones who needs immediate attention first." I told them and they both nodded.

I watched as the knights load up the carriages with the things that were auctioned. I called Sebastiene over and we both went back into the main hall were the guests were still sleeping. I walked around and behind the stage where the living items for the auction are still sleeping in their cages.

"Seb, why are they still in the cages?" I asked the demon beside me.

"That.. General Haktor made them stay inside to keep them from attacking the knights." Sebastiene explained as he touched the bar or a cell which started to sizzle. "And we have no antidote for the poison on all over the cells."

"How vicious they are." I commented with a frown. "Seb, put all of them in your space for the mean time and keep them asleep there."

"First you made me put the knights inside, not these. My lady, my space is not a hiding spot." Sebastiene said exasperatedly.

"Is that a no?" I smiled at him.

"Of course not." Sebastiene waved his hand and every living item disappeared. "Done."

"Good." We went back to the main hall and saw Klent there staring at something on the floor.

We approached him and saw that he was looking at a fat man with bulging belly wearing animal fur. I looked at the man on the floor and I got this familiar feeling.
