7 Un Un ... You're Fluffy Enough!

"So?" Kaa-chan looked at me from the opposite couch.

Don't know what I'm talking about? Well, here's the backstory.

I was talking with Kashi one day in the living room, with Bisuke on my lap, when I had an errant thought crossing my mind. "A summon, huh?", I murmured while floofing Bisuke's brown fur.

"You want to get your own summon?" He said while taking care of combing Pakkun's fur.

"Hm ... should I?" I wondered.

Just then, Kaa-chan butted it. It seem's that she overheard us from the kitchen. "Ooh~! I got to contract Katsuyu when I was fourteen, but I heard from her that the earlier you get your own summon, the better. For getting along and training with."

Beside me, Kashi nodded along.

"Well", I voiced my thoughts. "I was thinking if I should sign a known contract, or if I should just do the jutsu and see what I get ..."

"I would recommend getting one that you know of. Safety and all. I mean, look where it got Orochimaru when he tried a reverse summon!" Kaa-chan exclaimed, making me remember the creepy Manda. Gah, no! "But at the same time, doing the summoning jutsu would bring you to one which matches you best." Kaa-chan added.

Bisuke whimpers on my lap and looked up at me with watery eyes. Urk! Those eyes! I hear another whimpering on my left to where's Kashi at, and I made the mistake of looking.

Kashi held out Pakkun towards me. Kashi's eyes shone impossibly, in a way that I have never considered possible. Pakkun mirrored the look his summoner put on, along with the other summon's of Kashi's pack.

Oh no. Those puppy-dog eyes. And literally, since all of them are dogs, and the single human having their senses as a contractor. Gruk, m-my heart ...!

No ... Down girl! Down!

"I ... I! I want to learn the summoning jutsu please!" I screamed out as I clenched my eyes shut.

"Hai, Hai. Well, since you won't be summoning, but be reversed summoned, I guess its fine to do it here instead of outside?" Kaa-chan walked towards us.

"Okay. So, Boar, Dog, Bird, Monkey, Ram", she explained as she showed me the hand signs. "Got it?"

"Hai~!" I repeated the hand signs without chakra. "Is this right?" I asked both of them for confirmation, and they both nodded their heads.

"Okay. Here goes nothing!"

Boar, Dog, Bird, Monkey, Ram! "Kuchiyose no Jutsu!"

*BAM* *poof*

A whittle Kanako disappeared from the living room.

Around three hours later, Kanako poofed back into existence at the same spot.

"Aa! You're back, Kanako. So? What'd you get?" Kaa-chan asked curiously.

Kashi at the side peeked over with curiosity as well.

"Eheheheheh. You want to know?" I grinned at Kaa-chan, then turned to Kashi, grinning even more. "You wanna know? Really, really want to know?"

Kaa-chan chuckled while Kashi sweat-dropped at my antics, but nonetheless played along and nodded.

"Hehehe. I've got ...", I paused for the dramatic effect. I can even see Kashi leaning over, and Kaa-chan's head slanted over.

"I", Kaa-chan held back a grin, while Kashi froze.

"Ta", Kaa-chan started cramping her mouth, while a mysterious cloud and lightning stroke above Kashi's head.

"Chi", Kaa-chan started cackling, while Kashi turned white and a ghost of him started seeping out of his mouth.

"Eh - no no, Kashi, you okay?!" I panicked and zoomed next to him. "Shōsen Jutsu!" Heal! Heal! Heal! Get back in there, Ghost Kashi! Kaa-chan, stop laughing, help me out!

Three hours ago ...

Somewhere in a forest somewhere ...

*poof*

A wild Kanako has appeared!

Sike.

*cough* *cough* "Now, where am I ... forest?" I looked left and right as I said my thoughts aloud.

Hm? Maple ... and mulberry trees? Do those even grow together? I tried digging up my herbology knowledge. Eh ... maybe ... possibly?

Oh? Is that bamboo I see in the distance? I spot different variants of beech trees as well.

???

Do they even have the concept of climate here?

Wait. Where did those thoughts come from?

Anyways, I should just walk around first. I started walking about, trying to look for signs of life.

About half an hour later, I stumbled upon an open clearing that is filled with berry bushes.

Ooh. Blackcurrants ... and strawberries!

While engrossed with the berries, I hear ruffling's on the bushes and grass near me.

I tensed up as I slowly searched for the thing that made the noise.

*ruffle* *ruffle*

Pop! A cattish racoon red face with white and black markings popped out of the bush.

*pop* *pop* *pop* *pop* *pop* *pop* *pop*

Many other heads popped out from other bushes nearby. And it hadn't stopped.

Red pandas ... badgers, otters, raccoons, ferrets, coatis, minks, ringtails ... weasels ... and many other of the "weasel" superfamily.

Hehe.

Weasel. Get it? Hehehe.

Anyways.

The heads still has not stopped popping out of the bushes. But some has already came out fully.

Aaaa ... the ... fluffy ...

AaaaAAAaaaaaAAaaaAAA!

Socutesocuteocuteocuteocuteocuteocuteocute!

SOOKYUTE!

I started shivering and shaking in place and the worlds fluffiest fluff crowded around me.

Ahhhhh their tails are swaying about ... Gah! One tail swished against my leg ... So soft ...

"Uwahh ..." I squeal as I felt the fluff around me, so much so that I couldn't help but get down on the ground to grab one and ... *fluff* *fluff* *fluff*

Fluffiness confirmed. Softness assured. Floofy guaranteed.

The one I had grabbed is a red panda, and it sniffed my face, with its nose booping mine.

SO DAMN CUTE. The inner me raged.

"Ne, ne!" Ah. It spoke! "Are you our new contractor?"

"Eh. I'm not too sure?" I cocked my head. "I mean, I did the summoning jutsu and got reversed summoned here."

"Hm~..." Uuu. It's nose keeps booping mine. "Follow me then, I'll bring you to Obaa-chan."

It flicks itself off me, and landed on the ground daintily.

It dashes off, and I had to sprint to chase after it. We went back into the forest, but deeper than where I had been.

The deeper we went, small cute tree houses appeared. Some on the treetops, some hanging or on the branches, and some built near the roots. It came with cute little doors and windows, some of the fluffs were sunbathing and resting on the roofs of their houses.

The further we go, the bigger the houses are. Currently, we are passing by houses the size of a normal human village house. Wow.

By the time we reached the central of the village, there are mini stalls ... or rather, collection booths? Since there's probably no currency. The little fluffers has batches of berries, nuts, fruits, flowers and roots in each stall, and seems to be bartering? Woah. There's even a ornamental pond in the middle of the square, that seems to be man-made ... or in this case, weasel-made? Heh heh.

The red panda led me further in, away from the hubbub of the square, into the forest where there are less activity.

Five minutes in, an old stone torii gateway is visible, that led to a moss covered stone pathway upwards. It took us about another ten minutes to climb the stairs, which lowkey made me freak out. I mean - moss covered? That's a danger sign for some slippage.

We took the last few steps with much huffing and puffing, and instead of a shrine that I expected, an old tall sacred tree stood in place. It took me a while to register that the circumference of the trunk is wider than the hokage residence, and the height way taller as well. At the base of the tree was an opening in the trunk as big as the torii gateway behind us.

I looked down to the red panda at my foot, to see it plopping down with its tongue hanging out. Glad to know I'm not the only one out of breath. It saw me looking, and held its paws up towards me, enticing a hug, and putting on its own puppy-dog eyes. Like come on! This time round, it really isn't a puppy nor dog, so you've got no justification unlike Kashi and pups!

But no matter what, I had no means of resisting the fluff, so I bent down and pluck it off the grass, cuddling it. Oooh the fluff, so fluffy.

It patted my hand with its paw, and pointed to the opening. Okay then.

I walked towards the tree, and I spotted a big bunch of red fluff. Red panda? As I entered the tree, I noticed that the red fur I saw was just a tail! A big tail!

I moved my eyes upwards and upwards. Yup. A red panda alright. A giant one, that is. Easily over fifteen, maybe 17 meters high.

It was sitting on a large red pillow, with it's tail curling around it's body. The gigantic red panda was currently leaning on another large red pillow, with it's paws propping up its head, napping.

"Obaa-chan, Obaa-chan!", the red panda I'm holding started making a ruckus to attract its Obaa-chan's attention. "Hiya~! Obaa-chan!"

It finally managed to rouse the sleeping red panda, as it slowly opened it's eyes, and stared down.

"Ara, Chii-chan, it's you", it started at the red panda I'm carrying, then it noticed and looked towards me. "And you are?"

"Ah - Hello! I am Senju Kanako. I - uh, was reversed summoned here when I performed the summoning jutsu."

"I see I see, finally!" The large red panda exclaimed as she held her paws together. "It's been a while since someone was contracted to us. My name is Akaharu, the Sage of Seikatsu Forest, do you want to sign the contract?" She asked, as she poofed a large scroll, grabbed by her tail, and wagged it at me.

"Aa - Hai! Haihai! Yes please!" I quickly replied with glimmering eyes.

"Oh? Excited much?" Akaharu looked at me amusedly, and she caught my eyes following her swinging tail. "Oya?" She tried swishing her tail more for good measure, and I wasn't one to deny the pleasure of following it with my eyes and whispering "fluffy".

The Sage caught my actions and picked up my whispering started laughing out loud like an old lady in a market, breaking her image of a Sage. "Guahahahahahahaha! Ke! Keke! You're a cute one, aren't ya?"

"All of you are cuter, Akaharu-sama," I answered back with conviction and seriousness.

"Hahahaha, I like you, girl. Here, sign this." The scroll unfolded in front of me, and only the first and one name was seen : Otsutsuki Kanna.

Akaharu looked at me in understanding. "Despite what others may think, not many, out of all the summons, are discovered. Some may be known, but was never revisited. Like our Seikatsu Forest. And -" Her tail gestured to the east. "Down there, many many miles away, is our dear neighbor, the Hirano Forest. Looking at your Hitai-ate, you're from Konoha, then you must know the Nara clan? Their deer's are the descendents of that forest, but are too far apart, and too isolated, that they are only smarter than normal animals, till it is forgotten."

"By the way", she continued. "You said you're a Senju?" I nodded. "Ahahaha! So you're Kanna-chan's descendent!" She chuckled, while nudging the first name on the scroll with her tail. "Come on, sign!"

I bit my thumb, and wrote my name in blood. It glowed for a while when I was done, then settled back into a red signature.

"Yosh! Now that's done, would you like to stay and train with us?"

"Uh, I would like to return first. It has been a while, and my family must be waiting for me." I anxiously replied, remembering that it's probably over a few hours since I poofed away.

"Alright, when you're ready, summon one of us, and we'll bring you here." Akaharu reminded me. "And call me Obaa-chan. I may look young, but I'm already half-a century or so younger than Gamamaru-kun!"

... If I remember correctly, Gamamaru is the name of the Sage of Mount Myoboku, Jiraiya-ji's toad summons? And he's nearing eight hundred?! Woah.

"H-hai, Akaharu-baa-chan! Eh ... eto, how do I return?"

"Oh, right", Baa-chan clapped her paws. "Come here, dearie."

I inched towards her, and she patted me on the head, "See you again soon!"

And I poofed away once more.
