Chapter 42 - I Lava You

Revolutionary Camp.

Ninjas double their defenses and get in their positions.

Joseph is currently in the air while his arms are crossed.

"Haku-san, Zabuza-san, and Joseph-sama will launch a surprise attack in Yagura's place while we defend against his army," Ao explained.

"Don't want to," Joseph said then added, "Zabuza-san wanted to take revenge himself let him do it, I want to farm...erm...to defend the camp from the attackers," Joseph said.

"You got that right, that bastard won't know what is coming to him, " Zabuza said with a grin as he vanishes in the air.

"Haku in case of Zabuza's failure, Kill Yagura," Joseph ordered.

"As your ordered Joseph-sensei," Haku slight bow and disappeared.

The army finally arrives in the north of the camp. Hundreds of bloodthirsty ninjas are ready to attack in one command.

"Mei Terumi, it's better for the village if you surrender the bloodline holders that you are keeping, If you do we will show mercy and will only kill those with bloodline limit," The Jonin commander started to negotiate.

"Is that how you treat people? Yagura is a tyrant, I don't even know how can he have such a large army," Mei rebutted.

"We are oppressed! We are treated like ants of those with bloodlines! If you won't surrender them, war is it!" The Jonin commander shouted.

'I need to prolong the conversation for Zabuza to have time to kill the Mizukage,' Mei thought. "You maybe have an army double...maybe triple in number compare to us, but this will not go great for both of us."

"Enough talking, this is getting nowhere, Charge!" The Jonin commander runs out of patience.

"Kill!!!!"

"Defend!" Mei Release a torrent of lava towards the enemies. Multiple ninjas died just by that one attack.

"And you said we are not massacring everyone," Joseph said with a slightly amused tone.

Mei just replied with a sullen look.

Joseph flew towards the Jonin commander, Multiple enemies tried to target him while he is the air but they quickly got taken down by Joseph's air bullet.

The Jonin commander looks at Joseph, who is landing in front of him.

"And that's 45 Ninjas, this game is quite fun, right?" Joseph said.

The Jonin commander begins to shake in fear but quickly composed himself, he needs to be strong for his Kage.

"What a pleasure to see the man of steel targeting me, remember me, Shiroi Kuki, the man that will take you down," Shiroi said.

"The fuck you are talking about?" Joseph asked with a confused face. "I need you for an experiment. You will be participating in a game Shiroi-san, If you win you live."

"Sound interesting, care to explain the rules?" Shiroi fakes his curiosity. 'Chance!' Shiroi dashes towards Joseph hoping that his poisoned kunai can do the trick.

Joseph defends by grabbing the wrist of Shiroi then make his own kunai stab his stomach. Joseph then punches Shiroi's stomach and expel all the chakra in his body using his divinity.

"Help the commander!" One of the ninjas on the battlefield said gathering the attention of other ninjas.

Shiroi loses his consciousness. Joseph is planning a game to satisfy his boredom and just found his first participant.

"Vanish..." Joseph said then the commander's body got absorbed in space. He flew above them and then said, "Sorry for this but seeing your army, half is enough to have a new start."

"No," Mei hopelessly said life she knew what Joseph would do.

"Cruel Sun, " A ball of flames looking like a mini version of the sun appeared on top of Joseph's pointing finger.

Mei thought that Joseph will release his laser to fire at the enemy. 'No, this is much worse,'

"Retreat!" One of the Jonin said. He felt a dangerous amount of heat coming from that technique. Their skin is already burning without even touching the ball of flames.

"There is no escape..." Joseph said, then the mini sun in the middle of the battlefield.

The enemy ninjas realize that there is no way they can dodge that. They release floods of water from their mouth in unison. Even the revolutionary army started to fire some water techniques toward the mini sun.

A bunch of hot steam release when the mini sun and water techniques collide.

BOOOOOOOM!

The ground turned into lava as numerous ninjas died.

'Only 389 died? I'm disappointed,' Joseph thought while looking at the carnage he caused.

Mei looking at the massacre and thought, 'This is not the outcome I wanted.'

The steam fade and the ninjas saw the outcome of the battle. Not even the body of the ninjas who got hit remains. Lava...Lava and steam are all that remains...well aside from the survivors.

The enemy ninjas lose their will to fight. They let go of their weapon, then got down on their knees raising both of their hands upwards, declaring that they are surrendering.

"Seize them," Mei ordered. She looks at Joseph's with fury in her eyes. The remaining ninjas shot numerous techniques to the sea of lava to lessen the heat down.

Joseph landed in front of Mei, then said, "You see I'm actually scared of spiders, then I saw a spider on the battlefield, right there." Joseph pointed at the sea of lava. "I think I killed it."
