CHAPTER 3

"I am Choi Yeonjun from Tomorrow by Together." He replied and lift his bucket hat a bit higher, I still could not make out his face in the dark alley.

"I'm Alanna Kim..." I said getting suddenly awkward, I was talking to a celebrity and thought that he was going to kill me. I looked at my shoes, embarrassed by my previous actions.

"Ugh... I am really sorry about what happened earlier. I will take responsibility if you are hurt anywhere.." He suddenly bowed making me shook my head furiously getting more embarrassed.

"No no no... I am the one who hit you, remember? I am the one to apologize. I should have not interfered with your business." I quickly said feeling bad about what I did.

Before he could speak, the dark alley suddenly lights up making me squint my eyes shut from the sudden light. I looked up to see his face, he had really nice eyes and lips. He was handsome.

"If you don't mind, I'll walk you home. " He said and looked down at me. I had an average height but he was really tall.

"It's okay, I think I can manage myself." I lied, I did not even know where I was. But I could not bother him further, what if someone saw us and got the wrong idea?

"You don't seem like you are from here, are you sure you can find your way back?" He asked again, of course not I couldn't.

"Uh.. actually, I think I'll be good if you can tell me the way back to the park," I replied, I moved from one foot to another.

He smiled, "Then, let's go?" He took a step and waited for me. I quickly nodded and followed him. We did not talk on our way to the park, but it was not awkward either.

As we reached the park he turned to me and said, "Thank you for the help."

"Huh? I was not really helping, it was all because of me your fans spotted you." I replied.

"No.. not really, if you had gone out and let them meet you, you and I are done for. So, I really appreciate your help." He stated.

"Ah... Okay then. But, is your stomach still hurting? I hit you pretty hard." I felt really guilty for hitting him even though I had no choice at that time.

"I'm okay, but you hit pretty hard for a girl." He chuckled.

"I learned MMA when I was in the States. Clearly, it was no use a moment ago." I mumbled the last sentence out.

"It's just that I am also familiar with it, don't feel bad." He said, clearly amused.

"Thanks... Uh... I think I should go now, it's pretty late." He looked at his watch and pursed his lips.

"Right, me too. I'd better go too. It was nice meeting you."

I smiled and replied, "Pretty crazy for a first meeting." He chuckled in reply.

"Good night," I said and he nodded, I turned around and walked away.

I opened the front door of our house and walked in, Mom was still busy with the papers and making phone calls. Who let her work like that at that hour? They must be crazy.

"Mom, I am going to sleep and don't work too hard," I said and walked towards my room.

"Okay... Sleep well." She said in the midst of her conversation. I went into my room and took a shower. I plopped down on my bed and thought back to the previous incident.

Choi Yeonjun

I took out my phone and search for his name. His profile came up and I looked at it. He really was a celebrity and I did not know he had yellow hair. He's much older than me too. Around three or four years.

I put down my phone and thought, What a night... I met a celebrity, hid from his crazy fans, and got to talk to him. It's not a bad night, just crazy.

A week later

I was woken up by my phone ringing, who would call me at that hour? I lift up my phone to see the name of the person who would probably want to kill me.

Norah Calling

"Hello?" I answered in Korean on purpose.

"Hey!! You!! How dare you not call me even after a week!!!!! You are so dead." She shouted making pull my phone away, and that was my best friend, I forgot to call her after we reached Seoul.

"Oh Hey!~ I miss you so much." I enthusiastically said, just to piss her off more.

"Ugh! I almost end our friendship but me being the better person called you first again." Yeah.. she did the praises too, even for herself.

Norah had so much to say and I did too, we talked all morning and it felt good to talk to a friend. I didn't tell her about Yeonjun though, I did not think I could handle her. She definitely was going into panic mode. And I got an email from the university that I tried, it was written that I was supposed to be starting classes from tomorrow. So, I need to go out today to buy some supplies.

I went to the stationary shop nearby and there were so many people gathering there. They were holding cameras and they looked like they were anxious to meet someone, probably some celebrity. I went inside the store and looked around, I bought a diary, A4 sized notebooks, pencil case, and some extra pens and pencil. I paid for my things and I went out, Lord, the screams. I literally had to stand there for a moment because of the noises.

But, the thing that surprised me the most was the people that were walking down the road. And one of them was that man I met last week, Yeonjun, and one more thing, he was staring at me. He kept his eyes on me until he got pushed by the fans. Pushing their cameras on their faces, poor them, didn't they know the word respect?

I shook my head and walked back home. Wait, but Yeonjun was staring at me. Did that mean he still remembers me? I did not even think he would know my face. But, I was sure he saw me, I was standing on the steps. Whatever he simply remembered me and it was fortunate I was there.

I waited for the third time that week, I looked down at the necklace on my hand. That night, I found this necklace on my coat, it got stuck on the thread. It assumed it was the girl that I met, what was her name? Alice? No, Allen? No, Alanna? Ah, yes, Alanna.

I came to this park for the past few days to return this to her. I kept on waiting while walking around but she never came. And I didn't know her address to send the necklace to her. Anyways, it felt good to take a walk like this.

I smiled thinking about that night, she was the only girl who ever hurt me physically. My stomach was actually sore from the hit I got from Alanna. She's pretty strong too. I shook my head, why did I keep on thinking about her? I seriously need help.

Message from Soobinie

"Manager has something to announce, you have to come back now." I guess I had to give it to her another day. I got up and walked home.

"Hyung! You are just in time, come sit." Soobin said and patted the seat next to him.

Our manager talked about the change of plans for tomorrow's schedule. He went home after he let us know all the details. I leaned back on the couch and massage my head.

"Hyung, did you see her?" Beomgyu asked and sat beside me. He always teased me about the incident with Alanna.

"No, she did not come. I'll just give it to her another time." I replied and took off my coat then used it to cover his face. He quickly pulled it off and made a face at me and runoff. Geez, that kid.

"Anyways Hyung, what was her name again?" Huening Kai asked while lying down on the couch and played with his phone.

"Alanna, I think she's half Korean. Her Korean was not very good." He sat up straight on hearing that.

"Really? Then I think I can get along with her." He said and lie down again.

"Maybe..the problem is that I cannot seem to meet here anymore," I said and walked to my room, I seriously need to sleep. I was drained from practice.

I looked at the girl standing in front of a shop, she was looking around the road, looking irritated by the noise. She turned her head towards us and locked eyes with me. It was her! Just as I was about to ask my manager if they could ask her to meet me, the fans come running at us, making it almost impossible to move.

I turned my head to look at her again but she was gone. Man.. if only I recognized her earlier. We went inside the venue to perform, it always felt good to show our performance to our dear fans. I always loved hearing their cheers, I did not think I could ever repay the love they had shown us.

Thank you for reading my book! I rewrite this chapter many times and I still do not like the outcome. But it won't be good if I keep the story pending for a long time.

Thanks again
