1 The new kid
Waking up in the morning is a pain in the ass,but waking up in the morning for school leaves me dead. No one wants to wake up first thing in the morning and go to a hell hole full of ugly extras! But it's what every teenager thinks in these days. I mean, it's 2019! It seems everybody's depressed.
I get out of my bed,muttering profanities the whole way to the closet. Getting my school uniform,I walk to the bathroom to get changed. I walked out of the bathroom with my uniform on and head downstairs where my mother was making breakfast.
"Good morning Katsuki,do you want some eggs?" She says,turning from the stove. "Nah,I'll eat at the cafe" I grab my backpack from the hook by the door and walked out, waving back at my mom.
Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Katsuki Bakugo, first year student at UA,a hero training course high school. I'm the coolest(and angriest) kid in my class. Ranking number one in the entrance exam and sports festival,I'm a pretty big deal if I do say so myself.
~After arriving at the school cafe~
I ordered a donut and sat down at a table. A green haired boy walked in and walked to the counter. I never saw him before so he must be new. His hair was curly and very wild,his tie was on wrong,and his freckles scattered across his face messily. It was annoying. I looked around after realizing I was staring and noticed there were no seats left. Dammit.
"Oh,uh,can I sit here?" said a small voice above me. I looked up,it was the green haired kid. "Uh, I suppose, there's nowhere else to sit.....but dont talk to me....." I respond,glaring at him,unnoticingly looking into his emerald eyes. He sat down and smiled at me. "Thanks!" I grunted in response.
The boy and I happened to finish eating at the same time and he started talking to me even though I told him not to. "Oh,uh,what's your name?" He asked me. "Katsuki Bakugo....." "Oh! Can I call you Kacchan?!" He smiled brightly at me and for a few seconds I could feel butterflies in my stomach. I'm not fucking gay,stop feeling these feelings! "Tch,Whatever....." I walk out of the cafe,glancing back at the boy. I saw him running after me "Oh! I didn't tell you my name! It's Izuku Midoriya!" I just chuckle at how much he wants to be my friend and keep on walking.
~at school~
In my classroom, I sit down at my desk doodling on the front of my notebook while everyone else is talking to eachother. The teacher walks in and settles us down. "Alright class, today we have a new student, Midoriya you may come in now." The boy from the cafe walks in and shyly waves to everyone and smiles. "I'd like you to tell them things about you. Today we will have no lesson since he is new."
"Um, I'm Izuku Midoriya. I don't have a quirk. My favorite color is green just like my hair,and my favorite food is donuts. I am 16 years old and also gay,if you dont accept that,I'm okay with that....." So that little nerd is gay,huh?
He noticed me and waved,sitting down behind me after the teacher let him sit. "You may all socialize now...imma go sleep" He walked out of the room and as soon as he did everyone started talking again. The green haired kid leaned over his desk to talk to me. "Hey kacchan! It's such a coincidence that we are in the same class! Now we can be even more of friends!" He got closer to my face and my face felt hot. "U-uh y-yea whatever...." I lean back in my chair to get away,and ended up falling out of my chair,hitting my head. "Oh my! Kacchan are you alright?!" "Tch...I'm fine,deku." "Deku? Oh we must be friends now since we have nicknames for eachother!" He said as he held his hand out to help me up. I grabbed his hand and we both pulled me up. "I'm not your friend,but you can think what you want." He just smiled brightly again and sat back down. I felt that feeling again. The one from in the cafe.....I'm not gay,am I?
