1 Prologue: Spirit Reincarnation

Within the vast darkness with numerous small glints of light spread all over the place, lies a being that could be considered God.

This particular 'God' was assigned to do some task within this place whereas the flow of paradoxical phenomenons took place which mere beings such as mortals wouldn't come to understand to in the end of the day.

God was given a task to fix this paradoxical phenomenons which directly involves the {Laws of the Universe} namely <Space> and <Time>

This is a grand feat to yet be accomplished befitting of his authority as a True God which he managed to build through eons of eons ago.

Though this is a grand task meant to be accomplished by someone with the 'skills' like his, he found this task... quite unpleasant.

The only reason God was doing this despite God's inner reluctance was that there wasn't anyone available to do it besides this God itself. He would normally pass this job to others if there was some other God capable of accomplishing this feat.

But alas, there isn't.

And so, the God ended up doing this arduous task where the God should fix this so called paradoxical phenomenons which disrupts and distorts numerous worlds all over the universe.

This God has been doing this task for nearly a thousand years already and it is apparently showing of not stopping anywhere near at the moment.

This God could only sigh in regret for having to do this job in the long run.

It was then, a rift of space and time occured at the area where this God's jurisdiction was placed onto.

God calmly blink with a flash and appeared right in front of the rift which was starting to get larger and larger.

This 'rifts' was one of the main contents of the God's job where God should seal and resolve the roots from where this rifts came from in order to prevent this from happening again. God this this countless times already only to be greeted at the realization that this task would take God forever to finish.

Just as God was about to begin to seal

"You are.... Hmm. Another pitiful child huh"

God said with a tint of sadness on his face which only showed only for a mere second before it returned to his neutral expression.

"..."

'He' did not respond to God who wasn't really expecting something out of him in the first place.

"Might as well do you a favor for appearing here. It's almost impossible for anyone to arrive here by coincidence or luck after all"

God stated as a matter of fact sounding somewhat grateful to him for relieving some of the God's stress which accumulated all over with the passage of time.

As God said, God began to rummage through 'his' mind to search for his deepest desires as God will grant it to the best of its abilities.

A brief moment sufficed in order for God to seek 'his' deepest desires. God made an amused grin as he thought about 'his' desires. God then relayed the information regarding 'him' as if it was introducing him to something.

"Let's see... Your name is Lucifer Zwei Arkanghel... What a needlessly long and interesting name. To think that your parents named you after a being that signifies evil in the most prominent religion in your world," God scoffed as he let out an amused expression to Lucifer.

"Moving to your wish... I see. Now I get the reason why your pitiful existence reached this place albeit vaguely, I suppose"

God then lifted its hand and gestured as it began to inject some of its divinity to Lucifer.

"Now that I think about it, it seems that only doing this by myself wouldn't guarantee that it will succeed without the other party's consent. Lucifer Zwei Arkanghel, relay your wish and I shall grant it!"

God commanded and Lucifer opened his non-existent mouth as he slowly told his wishes right before the almighty being right before him.

God then listened, just like a priest listening to a confession of someone. God already knew what Lucifer desires yet it was different from what God expected it to be.

Humans really have endless greed to the point that even a God would gasp in awe.

"... Now that I heard your wish or rather, wishes out from you personally, I can't help but think that...these are too many. Let's reduce it and limit it to five wishes, what you desire might clog or at worst, disrupt the <Laws> that exist within the universal plain. It would be disappointing to kill you personally if you winded up being a 'phenomenon' after all"

Lucifer didn't seem to complain since he realized that some of his wishes would be granted and he was already joyful about it. It wasn't like someone could get his innermost desires get fulfilled by some God after all.

And so, among his countless desires, he chose the five most interesting wishes that he thought off. Lucifer still thought to himself that this is some kind of dream that he will wake up from in the morning.

Little did he know that everything would be turned up side down only if he knew the reality that he tried to forget in the last seconds of his pitiful life.

"First, I want to be reincarnated in another world while retaining my memories..."

"Sigh. One of those typical novel-like tropes where the protagonist is a reincarnated individual huh. Generic-isekai novel anime shit didn't lose popularity even in your world.

Also, that's two wishes if you add your wishing of retaining your memories! Even so, I am benevolent and generous so I will let that slide and will grant both in expense of one wish!" God said in a disappointed manner adding some facts in the end in a flamboyant tone.

Lucifer on the other hand was flabbergasted on how this God even knows about those things! To think that a God would know about Isekai novel and anime settings! As expected of a God!, is what Lucifer would like to say if not for the fear and awe that he is experiencing at the moment.

With that said, Lucifer said his second wish.

"I wish to be reincarnated in a anime world that I know..."

"What now? Fan fiction novel plot? I wonder if the author that would write your story right now would be charged with plagiarism and some copyright violations"

"...."

Lucifer who still couldn't fully recover from the shock earlier was hit again making him think that this dream is very weird. Wait? Aren't dreams very weird in the first place? So why bother, this is just normal., or so he thought.

"Next"

"... Third, I want to be reincarnated not as a human, but a [Spirit]"

"Hmm... Now that is interesting. Out of all the wishes that you can have, why would you use it to choose your species?"

"Because being human is one thing that I clearly would say that sucks in various anime worlds..." Lucifer answered.

"...you have a point. But you can't refute that being human means that you can have almost limitless potential. Not that it happens all the time but frequently if I may say. Also, what do you mean by [Spirit]? Your wish is kind of vague? What kind of [Spirit]?"

"...the one that exist in novels and animes?"

"..."

God internally smacked its head on its mind as it receive a question as well rather than an answer. Still, an answer is an answer despite it being a question right...?

"I'll make it random then. Good luck on what kind of [Spirit] you would end up to be"

"Appreciated"

"What's the fourth?"

"I want to have [Divinity] which is possessed by the Gods. To be specific, Gods like you"

"Okay, got that covered" God answered as swiftly as one could say without any problems nor questions about his request.

"..."

This left Lucifer turn speechless for a while wondering if this God knew what he meant by that wish in truth.

"What? Wondering why I accepted that wish of yours?"

Lucifer nodded.

"Because it's interesting, that's why. Right to the last point, now say say it so this could be over"

"...."

..

...

And so, an hour passed and Lucifer still hadn't made his last wish. This made God's patience slowly run out and warned him.

"Next I say! I don't have all the time to waste on playing with you, Human. I already wasted my precious time to you over doing my task. Speak faster so we can get this over to begin with!" God exclaimed in an irritated tone because of Lucifer taking over an hour saying his last wish.

"I, uh..."

Lucifer was still contemplating as for which desire he would want! Maybe a System? A harem like setting perhaps? A charm that could make any women open their legs to you? Oh, maybe a overpowered skill? Who knows what he would choose.

God coldly stared at Lucifer with zit eyes.

God couldn't clearly discern the face that the mortal was having right now since he didn't have a face at all. The mortal right before him is has a mannequin-like body that is colored pitch black with streaks of purple electricity covering it's body.

God noticed that this soul is beyond saving already and was just waiting for the oblivion at any moment. Nevertheless, why did God offer him to grant five of his wishes?

Because God was bored and so, he seriously even used some of its [Authority] to fix the poor man's soul!

That's all!

Simple and easy to understand!

Even so, God's patience was running out to the drain as it kept waiting for the mortal on his wish.

And so, after another hour passed, God snapped.

"Well, color me surprised. To think that a mere human like you would consume my patience to the drain. Kukuku, I am done with this shit!" God's voice resounded throughout the place and turned it into a pitch black void that would consume almost anything and everything with it's abysmal darkness.

It was that time that Lucifer knew, he fucked up.

"First! I will grant your damn wishes since I am a God of my word. I won't reincarnate you but transmigrate your soul in a random nobody in this void. So good luck on what nobody your soul would enter in.

Second! Your memories will be left untouched even after you go to another world! And the anime and novel, as a saving grace, I would at least random summon you instead of sending you to a place like an apocalyptic world or something.

Third, you will be a [Spirit] and that race would adjust itself no matter what world you travel into or end up with.

Fourth, [Divinity] you say? Hah! Done! This will affect your race and turn you into a Half-God Half-Spirit Hybrid! Be careful with pagan god hunters out there if you end up in a world like that.

Fifth and last! I give you the skill to travel in different worlds! Hm, complaining? Now what? Surprised? Am I generous? Well, yes and no. The world you would travel after the previous one would be random and would forcefully travel you no matter what time or condition you are in. I hope you don't end up transporting in middle of a holy war or something.

With this, it's the end!"

And so God finally granted all of Lucifer's wishes without even listening to Lucifer's words of gratitude. Not that God cared about it in the first place.

But after God transported Lucifer, fragments of [Chaos] slipped through inside the soul of the man.

If God knew this, God could say that it should kill Lucifer as fast as it can so no furthermore problems would arise since that fragments were the main cause of this paradoxical phenomenons in the first place!

But God didn't knew so it's ey okey!

And so, the advent of our protagonist's story in another world would unfold bringing changes upon the worlds he would arrive at in the present and in the future!
