Meeting once again

Surrounded by darkness, that's how Christopher felt at that moment. Unable to sense his arms, legs, or any part of his body he was floating in the middle of nothingness with no light at the end of the tunnel.

' Well, that's the shittiest ending possible. Just someone, please give me the power to go back for a couple of minutes, I will beat some sense into those religious bastards. ' he thought.

He didn't even know if he could talk or if he was saying all that on his mind. Paranoia started to creep into him. Sometimes, he felt that a couple of years went by, then he felt that he was only killed by his best friends just some moments ago.

At some point, he started to see a dim light in the dark. It wasn't the usual shiny light but a slowly dying red one.

' Okay so... What the fuck do I do now? Do I swim, run, fly? just someone fucking tell me something because I'm going crazy. ' he wanted to scream but it was in vain.

After what he felt like an eternity later, a strong suction pulled him straight into that glow but he didn't even care about it anymore. What is there to be feared of? He was already dead.

Christopher reached a strange dark place again, but this time he was surrounded by multiple pictures and videos all around him. At the center of all that stood a tall person. He was pale white also with white hair and black fingernails. The strange creature was slender but at the same time imposing and his aura demanded respect from anyone.

Seeing all that, Christopher burst into laughter. " Finally someone! Alucard, you fucking bastard, are you here to torture me? Go ahead, everything is way better than the dark shithole I was in. "

Without saying anything, Alucard looked at him with pity in his eyes then he turned his back to watch the thousands of replays of his life that surrounded both of them.

" How was it? " he suddenly broke the silence.

" Huh? How was what? " said Christoper.

" Don't play stupid. Tell me how was it? How was it to be betrayed by the ones you love, to be killed without mercy by your loved ones? How was the feeling of emptiness, of powerlessness? How was it to see the ones you call humans actually being more corrupted and evil than us, demons? I want to know all that. " by looking directly into his eyes, Alucard instantly struck his sensitive cord.

" Oh, you are talking about that, yes, yes. It was nice, I want to do it again if possible, please. "

" ... "

" How the fuck do you think it was? Are you mentally ill asking those retarded questions? "Christopher almost jumped at his throat after he listen to all of those questions.

The two of them began a stare showdown that went on for many minutes until Alucard continued.

" If you want to believe it or not, you have killed me because I've wanted to be killed. "

" Bullshit, you we're clearly on your last heartbeat, don't play games with me, and also, why it should matter now? We're both dead anyway. " said Christoper

" There is a big difference between being killed and defeated. You were stronger than me but do you think that I, Alucard, the mightiest vampire from our demon realm don't have anything prepared for an escape? You are too naive.

" Is not like I'm pressed by time so we can play your game. I suppose that now I should ask you why have you done that? " he continued.

Alucard stretched his right hand in a vertical direction and pulled the images and videos surrounding him into a black ball on his hand.

" It would be better for you to see than hear this story from me. " without giving him any time to respond, Alucard threw the ball directly into Christopher's chest and with that, his vision went black again.

[...]

After he woke up, the first thing was to investigate his surroundings. Encircled by tall mountains that cracked the very blue sky, the first thing he noticed was that he wasn't on the ground. Christopher was flying between rocky mountains and his body was almost invisible.

The terrain was something he had never seen before. The mountains were bright white but not from the snow as he thought about it, that was purely the color of the rock, snow white, and surrounding the mountains was a clear green forest with a huge waterfall that anyone could have spotted from miles away.

The view from above was breathtaking but what was more surprising than that was the 2 persons holding hands while walking alongside the shore of the waterfall.

' What the hell is this... ' he was stunned to see that.

One of the two persons was Alucard and alongside him was one of the most beautiful women Christopher saw in his entire life.

Black, long hair tight in a ponytail revealed a full, joyful face. Hollow blue eyes, set low within their sockets, with curves in the right places.

Soft skin delightfully honored her eyes and mouth and left a captivating memory of her fortunate destiny.

She was wearing a black long dress that wasn't too revealing but even with that you didn't have to look more than a second for your mind to go astray because of her beauty and accompanying all that, on her hair, it was a red hairpin that matched the color of Alucard's armor.

Something was captivating about her, perhaps her tenderness, or perhaps it was simply by looking at her that you would have felt at peace. Nonetheless, the most intriguing part about her was the fact that despite Alucard being a demon, she was a human.

A sight that Christopher had never seen before. Two mortal enemies holding hands like some true lovebirds, no sane person in the world would ever believe that even if it was in front of his eyes.
