Death, Fear, Guilt, & Justice

Each opponent comes within an hour gap.

I was able to compress my killing intent and reinforce my boy by using that gap.

I can say that my expression in my eyes was a level colder than when I first started, to the point where my body even released a faintly blood-reeking aura. Ice cold, bloodthirsty, and ruthless had long since become synonyms for me.

Not only are there seven zombies. When I was waiting in the centre of the arena for my opponents, a one-hour gap was critical. Zombies appeared from all over the place to attack me. I fought them as well, believing they were my true adversaries.

Looking at the zombies clearly, I noticed that the zombies who were my opponents had numbers on their left hand. Distinguishing between my opponents and the other free attackers.

Sighs. But I'm wondering how long the next opponent will keep me waiting here.

..

It took half an hour for nine zombies to enter the arena. Who knows, maybe one of my adversaries will be among them.

They surrounded me with a ghostly walking almost immediately after the nine entered the arena.

What's strange was that all of their eyes were glowing red and they were emitting strong Killing intent, just like mine. It's difficult to believe they're all zombies.

"Lets get started then!"

I readied my sword, and with a grin on my face, I unleashed my Killing intent like a pressure wave.

Even though they aren't alive, the zombies can sense my killing intent and tremble as if they were. That must be their essence, derived from their undead heart and mana core. And although I was able to compress my killing intent, I couldn't control the enjoying feeling of my opponents' trembling degenerates around me.

Snarling and hissing, nine voices rose in nine directions around me almost simultaneously. Those nine Zombies charged at me at the same time.

I opened my eyes sharply and looked at the opponents approaching me. I used my Killing intent's gravity manipulation to slow their actions, and in a split second, I had dodged in front of my shuddering opponents.

These Zombies could withstand my gravity? They ought to be tough!

The sword in my hand was already embedded in the one behind me the next moment.

Turning, kicking, and raising his hands.

Using Killing Intent and Ice Cold aura, I launched ice blades from my sword's slash, an attack created from imagining my Wind Blade technique, Surging out, cutting through the air with ear-piercing sounds. Bloodcurdling screams rose and fell in succession from the Zombie's dread voices.

After all the others were taken down, there were three of them left standing, with my Ice blades piercing their chest, hands, and head.

These three are probably my opponents.

These three moved in unison. They were all holding a body in one hand and a weapon in the other. They charged at me from three directions, the effect of their intense killing intent.

"Want More?" I said.

I quickly rotated my body one turn, raised my sword, and with a vertical slash, I heavily manipulated gravity and shot out more than seven ice blades.

The arena was compressed as it split in two, with the Ice blade swaying in the air.

This battle ended after three seconds. A blood scar was visible on my shoulder.

The corpses began to tear apart, and I assumed that everyone had been killed.

I could see that there were only two of them left, but I had no idea that the last zombie would be standing behind me.

Just when I sensed his presence behind, the zombie gave out a gasping ghost noise and stabbed me from my back.

"You Wretch!"

When I saw that zombie laughing, my killing intent took over, making me angry with the burning sensation inside of me.

I wanted to annihilate that zombie right away. After all these trials, I don't want to die in the hands of a corpse turned zombie by magic!

"You think you can kill me that easy?" I murmured as I let my killing intent took over.

My vision became monochrome, with the only colours I could see being the life particles.

*Dreadful Frost!*

The air itself seemed to freeze, forming a curtain of cold, freezing ice around me. It was identical to my Absolute Ice technique.

As the cloud of steam and debris cleared, I could see the zombie's lifeless figure lying in the bloody arena.

I'm not sure how, but my wound healed on its own. I kept walking towards the Zombie, who was still pawing at the empty space where its left arm had been.

"Ice," I roared, and my left hand erupted in a dreadful aura of cold ice.

I was only a few feet away from the Zombie as it continued to back away.

I pinned the zombie down by placing my foot on its right leg.

"Wretch, you think you can kill me!" As I manipulated the Killing intent of gravity, I said,

*Gravity!!!*

"GAHHHHH!"

The zombie spat out dead blood, its leg crumpled into a crimson mess. As it seeped through the cracks in the ground caused by the increased gravity influence of my murderous aura from my body, its corroded bone fragments dotted the pool of pale red.

Another bone-crushing crunch echoed through the surrounding air, followed by a shrill howl of pain as I did the same to its other leg.

The corpse zombie had already become spattered paste after being stomped with all my rage.

Under my feet, skulls shattered like chicken eggs, by the cold aura emitted by my feet dropping of gore, landing on that zombie.

As I kicked the zombies that was in my way, I slowly walked towards my sword and picked it up.

I was able to compress my Killing intent once more by closing my eyes and relaxing.

By then, I was standing barely with the support of my sword.

"Trial Cleared!" exclaimed the female voice that I had heard in each of the tests.

"Death, fear, guilt, and justice. Congrats! You've overcame all the obstacles and completed all of the Blood and Gore trails!"

Huh...

What do you know, I went ahead and did it. I passed a test.

As soon as the voice went off, A golden beam shot at me as soon as the voice said that, beaming me up. I guess I'm teleporting once more.

After that, I was dropped to the floor near the gate. But there was no gate; instead, the steps had been reopened. I thought I'd get out of this Holy tree, but I guess they had something else in store for me.

Sighs.
