Chapter Eleven

It had a week since Abby had been put in the basement and Morgan didn't seem to be doing well. The bruise looked even worse and bloated. Apparently Richard had his men whip her with some sort of device after she made a nasty comment when he came down to check on her.

After his men noticed that they had injured her badly, they stopped coming to check up on her. The only person they'd ever bring food for, was Abby, not Morgan and being the nice person she was, she'd give part of her food to Morgan who'd hungrily eat them up.

Over the past week, they'd formed a strong bond and both women had gotten to know more about each other. Morgan had been married to Richard for five years even before he went into his business. She had given him a daughter and even though he didn't welcome to the fact of having a daughter, he took Julia, his daughter, and trained her into one of his soldiers.
