Chapter Twenty

At this time Jellal had bonded with Erza and pushed her into the Lacrima.

"Jellal you won't get away with this" Erza said as her body sunk into the Lacrima.

"But I already have," Jellal said

Jellal grins seeing Erza struggling. He then walks close to her and smiles "Erza I love you"

The moment he said that he receives a dropkick that sends him flying.

"The hell you do!!" Yami who had just arrived was pissed.

'what this bastard think he is doing when I haven't confessed yet"

"Yami!!" Erza was shocked to see Yami

Yami drags her out of the Lacrima.

"let me tell you this, Erza is mine and I don't plan on sharing with anyone especially you," Yami said to Jellal with an irritated voice.

Getting off the ground Jellal looks at Yami who was holding the weakened Erza.

"So you have escaped dark swordsman Yami," Jellal said

"Are you that surprised?" Yami raises his eyebrow

"To be honest no! a trap like that wouldn't have held you that long"

"Oh glad I meet your expectation then," Yami said

He then looks down at Erza "and you!!"

"Why do you look like you're giving up?" Yami asks

"But he is too strong," she said in a low voice as she was still trying to process what Yami said before.

"Is he?" Yami says while holding her "or is it just you who is scared"

"…" she doesn't answer.

"The Erza I know won't be brought down by this you know" Yami starts talking "she is strong, kind. And caring. Even though she was locking her heart away from others she is willing to stand and fight for her friends. that is the Erza I know and fell in love with"

Hearing what Yami said Erza starts to blush. She wasn't sure what to say to Yami who just confessed his feelings to her.

Seeing her like this Yami just smiles and turns to face Jellal.

"as for you" Yami stands up "you kidnapped my friends made them play your dumb game to revive some dead wizard that hasn't helped anyone"

magic energy starts gathering around Yami. "But worst of all you made Erza cry. I hope you're ready for what is coming"

Because of the Lacrima around them the amount of energy was large making Yami have near-infinite magic when using {MANA ZONE}

'This pressure!! Is like the time he was fighting phantom's guild master' Erza who was at the side was shocked. 'is like all the magic around is controlled by him'

The last time when he used his mana zone she was a distance away so she couldn't feel it much but now.

"what power. But you won't defeat me" Jellal compliments "I am chosen by Zeref"

Yami doesn't bother listening to him.

{DARK MAGIC: LIGHTLESS SLASH}

Yami proceeds to run up to Jellal swinging his blade. Jellal quickly moves out of the way dodging the attack.

Yami follows up with several more attacks cornering Jellal.

{METEOR}

Seeing that he was about to be defeated Jellal actives his {heavenly body magic}. He was then engulfed in yellow light and speedily flies away.

Jellal then appears behind Yami trying to ambush his blindside

"Oh, how fast!!" Yami says while dodging the attack and retaliating with one of his own

Jellal disappears again and then tries to attack Yami from another side. But the attack was again blocked by Yami.

"Seems you can keep up dark swordsman" Jellal smiles

"More like you are too slow," Yami said

Jellal was angry at what Yami said as he increases his speed but he still was able to touch Yami. Yami was easily able to follow all of Jellal's movements.

"Oi! oi! what wrong? haven't eaten or something" Yami teased him "let me show you how it is done"

Yami starts to move at a faster speed than Jellal.

{WILD BLUNT SLASH}

"Wha...?" Jellal wasn't able to comprehend what was happening as Yami start to mercilessly attack him.

Jellal tries his best to get away from Yami but Yami was always one step ahead. Yami kept on trashing Jellal around not letting up.

"Ahhh!!!" having enough of Yami's attack his magic flares up forcing Yami to back away a bit.

"I have underestimated you," Jellal says looking at Yami "but let me show you what power is"

He flies up then puts his hands on top of each other "may the seven stars judge you"

{GRAND CHARIOT}

Seven magic circles appear in the sky connected. Their light came together and shoot toward Yami.

"YAMI!!!" Erza shouts out for Yami as the attack hits him

"Hahaha!! How is that dark swordsman?" Jellal laughs out

"What are you yapping about?" a voice came from where the attack hit.

The dust clears up showing Yami who is surrounded by transparent dark energy.

{MANA ZONE: DARK SPHERE}

This is another one of the original spells that he made like {DARK WINGS}. This is where 'Fairy Tail' magic is better than 'Black clovers' as one had much more freedom to create their spells.

Erza was relieved as she thought Yami was hurt by the attack but it seems she thought wrong

'is this Yami's true power?' Erza asked herself as Yami had never fought her with his full strength. 'how big is the gap between us'

'He was able to block my attack' Jellal was shocked as very few people could take his attack without a scratch.

"Nice attack. Now, have a taste of mine" Yami said

Wings appear at Yami as he takes flight charging at Jellal. Jellal moves away while sending several attacks at Yami who kept dodging and cutting them.

Yami increases his speed, he grabs Jellal's face slamming him into the walls of the 'heaven tower'

"What is wrong? What happen it all your chosen one powers" Yami mocks him as he holds him to the wall.

"Shut up!" Jellal magic suddenly increases again.

He forcefully removes himself from Yami's grip and takes to the sky.

"I won't be defeated by the likes of you" Jellal then draws a magic circle

{ABYSS BREAK}

"Zeref is the one who will create true freedom," he said.

Yami shake his hand that was stinging a bit 'shit I forgot magic here is run by emotions. Making him angry might make him stronger

He turns to Jellal who was still taking 'let's get this over with'

Erza who was watching by the side was shocked "are you planning to take the whole tower"

"It doesn't matter I can always rebuild it," Jellal said with a crazy look "five… no!! three years"

"Like you would get that chance" Yami who had already neared him said.

{LIGHTLESS SLASH}

Yami's attack cut through the magic circle and Slashes Jellal across his chest. Blood gushes out of Jellal.

"How could you be so strong?" Jellal wasn't able to accept that Yami was this strong.

He falls crashing to the ground looking at Yami floating towards him.

Yami lands next to him and said "in the words of another 'if you want freedom start by freeing yourself'"

The reason why he wasn't cut in half is that Yami held back at the last moment

'Erza will be sad if I kill you, but I want to' Yami scratches his head in thought. 'what to do?'

*CRACK!!!*

The Lacrima around them starts to break apart causing the magic in it to go berserk.

"Huh!! Isn't this bad?" Yami said.

"Ahh!!"

Yami turn as he hears a scream from Erza. She was falling into a crack that had formed under her.

Dashing to her side carrying her princess style and flies up.

"Shit I should have held back a bit," Yami said as he was the one who broke most of the tower.

"It is going to blow up," Erza said "we won't be able to get away on time"

"ha!! Have to deal with it somehow" Yami start to think of a solution. "Ahh I have got it"

"Really?" Erza was shocked as she was thinking of fusing with the Lacrima

"Yeah but you have to go," he said to Erza.

{DARK MACIG: COCOON}

Dark magic covers Erza in a ball. Yami then pushes it away from the tower.

"Yami what are you doing!!? it is too dangerous" Erza tries to come out but she was too weak to do so.

Yami doesn't answer as the ball flew into the distance. He looks at the out-of-control mana that was about to blow up.

"It is just a large amount of mana without anywhere to go so I will just use it, simple right?" Yami said to himself.

{MANA ZONE: BLACK BLADE}

A large amount of magic gathers at Yami's sword as a blade made of darkness starts to form.

In the distance

Natsu, Simon, and the others were able to see the destruction caused by the battle between Yami and Jellal.

Now that the Etherion was going out of control they were worried about Yami and Erza.

"Do you think they are okay?" Lucy asks

"…"

No one answered.

"let's go back and get them," Natsu said barely able to talk due to motion sickness.

"It's too dangerous to go back now" Simon stops them

"We can't just leave them there," Gray said

"Ne!! what is that?" Happy points to the sky where a black ball was falling.

The ball disappears before it fell into the sea.

"Erza!!" they were surprised to see it was Erza in the sea

"Where is Yami?" they looked around not seeing Yami.

"He said he is going to stop the Etherion" Erza answered as she enters the water bubble made by Juvia.

"How is he planning to stop that?" Lucy asks in a worried voice

*Boom!!*

Suddenly a black light pierces into the sky as it creates a massive explosion covering the sky in darkness.
