21 chapter 20

"miss lucy!"

"w-what happened!?" lucy panicked as soon as she saw her fucked up arms. She was gonna scold her for rudely disrupting her and entering her room without knocking or asking for her permission to go in.

"I-I think I know who beat up those two!" she said while desperately enduring the pain from her elbow.

"Lisa and anthon?"

"yes...."

"who is it?"

" its Reo! Reo did this to me! He was able to defeat me with ease!" she said with a terrified expression. Just remembering reo made her fear for her life. She felt like a prey looking at a predator. She felt like a rabbit being hunted by a tiger. Seeing her shake lucy didn't doubt her words, she was doubtful for a second but the fearful expression that astrid is making made her believe every single words that came out of her mouth.

She stayed silent and starts thinking of what to do in this situation. She start to think that she is safe becuase of the fact that Reo is in love with her, but since Reo attacked her servant she starts to think that reo might go for her.

"Why did he attacked you?" she asksed calmly, right now she needs to know the situation entirely. If the violence is unprovoked and Reo just blindly attacked astrid then she might be in trouble. But if astrid started it and offended Reo she is gonna be in more trouble, either way she is fucked and couldn't think of ways to get out of thia situation. Unless she apologize to reo personally, if Reo doesn't accept her apology then she has to be on guard towards reo.

"I-I was gonna warn him to not get close yo you, b-but I got beat up instead..." she said with her voice shaking as she remembers the looks that Reo gave her.

Lucy fell down on her knees and started to despair. Being able to harm astrid to this extent is impossible for other high rankers. Even herself can't harm astrid to this extent unless astrid lets her do it.

*knock! knock!

"can I come in?" suddenly a voice that is so familiar to them could be heard behind the door. Astrid starts shaking and fear for her life, while lucy tries to calm herself down.

"g-go in" she answers after deciding that if Reo is knocking and asking to come in Reo might not be here to make trouble.

*clank!

The door creaks slowly as if tike has slowed down the two of them waited for Reo to go in. Seconds felt like minutes, minutes felt like hours.

Astrid starts to walk back as Reo walks closer towards lucy.

"I am here to make alliance with both of you"
