31 Farming and Planning.

Before they entered Anor Londo, Adrian called out all of the ones who were warriors or fighters. That included himself, Seraphine, Priscilla, Solaire, Sif, Ciaran, the Fume Knights, and even Logan.

All of them looked at him waiting for him to speak. He learned his voice and started his explanation.

"Alright, you all know that my aim is to allow the fire to fade correct? What will happen after that is the age of dark, but we are not going to live in it."

For the ones who had not heard this part, they were confused. If they were going to put the Age of Fire out into the Age of Dark where were they going to live them. Adrian now gave them the truth of what they were going to do.

"Once the fire begins to fade, we will leave this world into another one."

Logan as a sorcerer was most interested as it meant new knowledge.

"Is their sorcery in this new world?"

Adrian nodded.

"Of course there is, it is a lot like this world, but not stuck in a cycle. However, it is full of many powerful beings like gods which are extremely powerful. If we wish to make a foothold in this new world we need to be as strong as we can."

Besides Artorias, Vamos, Ciaran, and Logan everyone knew what he was insinuating. It was back to slaughtering the Silver Knights and Giants for souls. It was going to be tedius, but worth the time investment.

August nodded and steeled himself for a period of no sleep.

"When do we start? If we need to be as strong as we can, we will need to invest as much time as we can no?"

Seraphine sighed and got ready for the job.

"Fine, let's get this over with. I take we will be giving up all sleep and break time?"

Solaire nodded.

"Well most of us have no need for sleep and we do so only to relax."

Vamos looked at everyone getting ready and was confused.

"What you on about?"

Harold and Garold both looked at him and explained.

"You know that by resting at bonfires killed enemies come back no matter what right?"

Vamos nodded.

"Yeah, the curse of undead and stuff. What about it?"

Harold took the torch from his brother and continued it.

"Well here we got a small army of powerful beings we can farm for souls. By doing it over and over we got a near-endless supply of souls. Of course, if you invest the time which we got."

Adrian nodded.

"I could not have said it better myself. Come on, everyone who can fight will do so. I want no complaints. Time to work."

Ciaran and Artorias looked at each other before seeing that even Sif was getting ready. He had taken part in the very first 'farm' the world that Adrian used to refer to this.

From here began the farming which always gave 500,000 souls per run. Just as Adrian said this became a routine for the sweet souls. Vamos spent most of his time with Cough and Andre as they exchanged pointers.

He was quite pleased being here so he did not mind it anymore. He still wanted to use the Dragon Forge, but Amara was not interested. Adrian had to ask her to do it and he had not bothered to annoy her yet.

After every slaughter, he would harvest the equipment which he started to sell half of to the system for a good 5,000 souls per item which was just fine with him.

The other half he gave a large part of it to the blacksmiths for them to meltdown. Even if they felt exhausted as they only got a few minute breaks they did not stop. They wanted to be ready for DxD as he had told them of Great Red.

That was a good motivator so they pushed past their limits. Even Logan was participating as he was doing it for the knowledge of Seath and the new world. For an entire month, they did nothing but farm souls.

After a certain point, Adrian felt it was going to be enough for now as he wanted to stock pile. He was going to spend a large bit of time in DxD so he could learn magic from that world. Once he felt he was good enough he would start on Ds2 which would have increased difficulty.

He had no idea how much, so what better way than to just be as prepared as he could. They murdered the last few knights during the last run which made Adrian feel it was enough. He sat down which made everyone hope for the magic words.

"We are am done, I am exhausted. We can relax for a while."

Everyone collapsed on the bloody floor as they were tired of doing this for a whole month without stopping. It got boring and tedious as it was pretty easy with how often they did this.

August cleaned off the blood from his Swordspear as he looked at Adrian.

"Do you think we have enough?"

No one had used their souls as they preferred to use them in one go than to slow down to use them. Adrian nodded.

"For now I say yes. Of course, we got time as with the current state of this world we got a few years before the fire really dies out. We can relax for a bit."

Seraphine removed her helmet as she sat next to Adrian.

"We pick this up next month or something."

Adrian nodded as he got off the ground.

"If not next month the month after that. If we do this too often we will get bored. Use your souls, everyone, here is our reward."

Now was the good part as power was always good. They all looked at the souls they had and it was more than enough for them. The good thing was that the system allowed everyone bound to it to use the leveling function without a bonfire.

They all began to input their souls into the stats they needed. People like Logan would be focusing on intelligence, stamina, and vitality as he really needed it. It would help with his elderly state so he could handle the strain of learning the knowledge of Seath.

As for the warriors they were going to finish on their bodies. After that, the leftover stats would follow. Adrian was ready to max his power out for now.

<Souls Count: 350 Million Souls.>

-Levels Available-300

'Alright, 20 to vitality, 15 to attunement, 20 to endurance, 20 to strength, 20 to dexterity, 75 to resistance, 3 to intelligence. I will use 183 levels and keep some souls over. Confirm.'

Soul Level: 210(393)

-Vitality: 80(100)

-Attunement: 35(50)

-Endurance: 80(100)

-Strength: 80(100)

-Dexterity: 80(100)

-Resistance: 25(100)

-Intelligence: 47(50)

-Faith: 20

The moment he hit the confirm button he felt the energy of millions of souls be absorbed by his soul. Once his soul took that energy it used it on his body to improve it completely. He felt every single organ, muscle, nerve, and cell sting as his body was perfected.

With the increased resistance he would be better off again status effects which were all good for him. He felt his heart stop for a second before starting up with more power.

His bone marrow itched as it began to produce purer and better blood which would insure his longevity. He barely contained his excitement at the feeling of power and when he got off the ground he felt better than ever.

Seraphine had down the same as him and maxed out her vitality, strength, dexterity, stamina, and resistance. She was not as strong as Adrian as he had the benefit of a higher species, but it was enough for her.

Artorias, Ciaran, and Logon felt the benefit of doing this and would not mind doing it again. The elderly sorcerer felt that he just gotten younger by a few centuries.

"What a magical feeling. I feel like I am back in my prime."

Adrian nodded as he looked at everyone who had maxed out the stats that mattered to them. Of course, he planned perfection, but for now, it was good enough. He stood up and got everyone's attention.

"Well now that everyone is refreshed and back to their peak it is time for us to get to work. This is essentially a workout and now it is time to put it to the test. Logan, I will allow you to begin reading into Seath's work."

Hearing that made the sorcerer tremble with excitement. Who said an old undead could not learn new tricks.

"You will not be disappointed."

Lucian who was the one with the books in his inventory motioned for Logan to follow him.

"We will start you on with one book. We need to make sure you won't go bat shit insane."

"Oh please, with how I am now not even the Abyss could take me."

Everyone looked at Artorias which made the poor knight feel even more shame. Adrian patted him on the shoulder and gave more instructions.

"We will now begin an invasion of old Isolith. We will first have to kill the giant demon down there. It will be me and all of the Fume Knights minus Lucian and Carnage. I want you, crazy bastards, with me."

Hearing he was staying confused him.

"Why captain?"

Adrian looked at him and explained what he had planed.

"I got a mission for you, I want you to take Kalameet along with Solaire to see if you can find a functioning kingdom. Anyone will do. Can I count on you?"

The Knight nodded with a grin.

"You know it, captain. Come Solaire, let us go on an adventure."

The Warrior fo Sunlight nodded.

"And spread the world of praising the sun."

Carnage nodded.

"Praise the sun."

Both of them got on the back of Kalameet who took off with them in toe. Seraphine and Priscilla thought he would take them with him so they were waiting for what he wanted them to do.

"Uncle what about us?"

Seraphine nodded.

"You know I do not like being left out when a fight is at hand."

Adrian also had something for them too do.

"I want you two, Ciaran, Artorias, and Sif to come with us as well. However, when we arrive I want you to go down the great hollow. I can guarantee you will not regret it."

Seraphine crossed her arms and looked at his face.

"Is there something to fight down there?"

Adrian shook his head.

"Not really, some weak foes but the surprise is going to be worth it."

Seeing how he did not plan to tell them they just stopped asking.

"Is everyone ready to go?"

All of them were so he called over Devastator for a change. He wanted to give Amara a break for a while and he was not small at all. Adrian did not notice that Amara who was sleeping a distance away opened her eyes and shot Devastator a very angry glare.

Feeling her glance made the giant dragon shiver slightly. He felt like he was a hatchling again when he would cause fires only to be disciplined by her.

He and Scorn who were brothers were like Amara's stepkids as they hatched after she was tamed. She practically taught them to be dragons and seeing her look at him like that scared him.

She was jealous that her master did not ask her to give him a ride, but she decided to let it slide. Once everyone was on Devestator's back he took off to get away from Amara. She snorted which was the equivalent of a sigh and got went back to sleep.

She felt only she was worthy to transport her master, but it seemed that was not her call. For now it was back to sleeping and waiting for his return.
