Brother, You Are Not Dying Today.

Seraphine found she had to hold on even tighter with how fast he was running. Adrian had skipped talking to anyone, or looting anything and did not even light a bonfire. He was too determined to get to Artorias as soon as he could.

Right now Manus, Kalameet, and loot all were second-hand goals for him as his brother needed him. The scarecrows and stone guardians rushed to stop him, but they choose the wrong person to mess up with.

"OUT OF MY WAY YOU FUCKERS!"

He drew his greatsword and slashed and diced any foe that had the misfortune of messing with him right now. Seraphine nearly fell off that she had to wrap both her hands around his face.

Just as he was about to run onto a bridge Kalameet landed on it making the big dragon look at him. Adrian did something the dragon did not expect and jumped on his back.

"Move it, boy."

Kalameet was completely confused as he did not feel the usual hostility of everyone. Plus he could smell the scent of many dragons on Adrian, but not the smell of death. It was odd so he obeyed and he took off flying the way Adrian directed him.

Seraphine let go of his face and jumped on the back of Kalammet forced to hold onto one of his back spikes.

"How?"

Adrian looked back at her as he smiled.

"I am the dragon whisper."

Kalameet flew down toward the boss room of Artorias still in a daze about why he did not kill the two people on his back.

<Kalameet taming in progress. 40%>

Adrain ignored the system prompt as the black dragon had landed in front of the arena. Marvelous Chester pulled out his sniper crossbow and a Saw Cleaver from his back ready for a fight

However, he stopped when he saw Adrian and Seraphine jump off the Black Dragon's back without any fear. Adrian turned to look at Kalameet who was gazing at him with three eyes.

"Thank you for the lift. I will make it up to you soon."

Adrian reached out and ran his hand on the face of Kalameet. Adrian had a theory about him in-game as he did not attack the first time the player encountered him. To him, that showed that Kalameet just wanted to be left alone.

The first time he only attacked when the player intruded into his home so that was enough for him. Plus, Kalameet was too cool to give up on as another pet.

<Taming at 70%. Kalameet will obey most of your commands. He is still wary of you.>

Seraphine looked at Kalameet and also did the same as Adrian.

"Thank you for the ride. Sorry for forcing you."

Kalammet had a few thoughts in his mind. Why were they not scared of him? Why did they not treat him like the calamity he was. In the end, he sat down and waited for Adrian and Seraphine which shocked Chester more than he already was.

"If I did not see it I would not believe it."

Adrian and Seraphine looked at the shocked hunter with curiosity. Adrian was the first to call out.

"Ever heard of a place known as Yharnam."

Chester was surprised anyone knew that name. He approached both of them even though he still kept his guard as a dragon was a unique foe. Especially one like Kalammet.

"I do, now the question is how do you know when I am from?"

Seraphine looked at Chester's weapon with interest. It was not a sword, ax, or spear so her gaze was taken to it.

"Well, we are from the future as well. Of course not as far as yours I would say. Was old Yharnam burned already?"

Chester nodded.

"It was, what about it?"

Adrian shook his head.

"Nothing really. If you will excuse me, I got some personal business to take care of."

Chester started to leave as he did not want to be around Kalamaeet without his owner.

"So long."

Adrian started to walk inside with a determined look. Seraphine was about to walk in with him, but she did not. She knew this was important and personal to Adrian so she decided to wait outside with Kalameet.

Adrian looked at her as he put on his helmet.

"Well, today I see if my brother can be saved. If not, I will have to do my duty."

He drew his greatsword, but before he walked in she took his hand.

"Take that helmet off, now."

He took it off at her request as he looked at her.

"What now?"

She pointed at the ground as she made another request.

"Kneel down please."

He went to one knee until he was at eye level with her.

"Now what? I am not sure."

She squinted her amber eyes, but she saw his eyes have a joking light in them. He was messing with her and she knew it. Too bad she was not going to play into his game.

She grabbed his face and finally kissed him. It was not a small kiss as she forced her tongue into his mouth which made him wrap one hand around her back to take over the kiss.

One thing was he was far larger than she was and he quickly dominated the kiss. He pulled back after a few seconds with a big grin on his face.

"You know your saliva is actually really cold."

She licked her lips as she cleaned off any saliva on her lips.

"Well I am undead so I am not really alive."

"Does that make me a necrophiliac?"

"A little. Anyway, get going."

He stood up and entered the fog gate looking at the bobblehead that charged at him. He did not even react as Artorias plummeted down driving his massive sword into the abyss creature.

Looking at Artorias' current state made Adrian's heart pulse with rage and pain. He looked at Artorias who from the look of it was struggling to get words out.

"K-. ILL. ME!"

Adrian drew his greatsword as Artorias channeled the Abyss without any restraint throwing the corpse at him. Adrian dodged to the side as he had to deal with a backflip sword strike.

He parried the blow and he punched Artorias in the face forcing him to the ground.

"Get up brother, you are stronger than this. Tame the Abyss, make it yours, I know you can."

Artorias roared in pure agony as he tried to force himself to control himself, but he was unable to stay sane long enough. He jumped to his feet and charged at Adrian who once again parried his blow.

"Come on, Ciaran is waiting for you man. If you don't get a hold of yourself she would be heartbroken."

That shut up his screams and roars for longer so Adrian charged at him at the moment. He dropped his greatsword and caught him in a grapple. He removed the Coevent of Artorias from his own finger and put it next to the one Artorias was wearing.

When the ring was put on him Artorias started to thrash as the magic of the two rings started to hold the Abyss at bay. Adrian did not stop as he grabbed his face and took off his helmet.

Artorias' eyes were pitch black, but now there was a small light in them. Adrian had an idea to get him mad and focused so he hit his buttons.

"It's me brother, I know you can tame the Abyss. If you don't I would have to have to add Ciaran to my growing harem you know."

His answer was a punch to the face, which launched him back.

"MINE! SHE IS MINE!"

Adrian wiped his cheek and smiled.

"Yeah, she is. Come on, show me why you were called the Wolf Knight."

Adrian picked up his greatsword and he saw something he wanted to see. Artorias stood straight up and held his sword in front of him in a proper stance. He rushed at Adrian with the agility of a wolf despite his busted arm.

Adrian smashed the handle of his greatsword into the face of Artorias which made him fall to his knees. Adrian backed away and he saw just what he wanted to see. Artorias clenched his hand with both rings and began to glow in dark light.

<Biding Artorias to the system. Protecting the mind and self-awareness. Completed. Artorias the Abyss Walker has now tamed the ramping Abyss in his soul>

Adrian walked toward Artorias who had passed out, but his eyes were different. He had a black ring around his bright blue eyes, but that was enough. Adrian picked him up and placed him on his shoulder.

Just as he was about to leave he called out.

"Ciaran, he is back to himself again. Maybe."

Like a silent assassin, Ciaran appeared behind him, but from the look of it, she was thankful.

"You really saved him. You were always close and I thank you with all my heart Adrian."

Adrian turned around to look at her, but just at a look she realized something.

"You are not from this time are you Adrian? You are from the future."

He nodded.

"Yeah, I am from the future. I came to handle a few events and take Artorias with me."

She looked at her lover with both love and worry on her face behind her mask.

"You know changing the past is not a good thing. If anything goes wrong the present will be entirely diffrent."

Adrian nodded.

"It would not change much as Artorias dies in this very spot. His grave is in this very spot even if it changes years into the future. Nothing will change if he 'dies' in this spot once again."

Ciaran removed her mask revealing a very beautiful face. She approached Artorias and gently kissed him. She started to walk away, but Adrian reached out for her arm.

"You can come with him you know. You die around this time and no one needs to know. Fake both of your deaths and come to the present with me. Be together as you deserve."

Artorias was still passed out, but he began to grumble as his face and arm hurt. Not just hurt, he was in agony causing him to grip his shattered arm.

"ARAH!"

Adrian threw him on the ground and kneeled in front of him as he started to set the shattered bones back into place.

"Oh man up, it's just a broken arm."

Adrian handed him a magic mushroom which Artorias bit into without hesitation. He felt the magic healing effect help his broken bones, but that was not all He felt the abyss force his arm back into place like venom did to Eddie brock.

Seeing his arm fixed and the fact he was not completely insane made him look around. Before he could say anything Ciaran threw herself at him and hugged his neck.

He placed his hand on her back as he looked at Adrian.

"What did you do?"

Adrian grinned as he started to walk outside.

"Saved your life. Hurry up and get up. I am faking your death right now."

Adrian began to set up a small shrine for him whcih confused him.

"Why? I am alive."

Adrian nodded.

"Yes, but I am from the future. You are supposed to die today so you don't exist from here on. You have to come with me to the future, both of you."

Artorias and Ciaran saw he was completely serious and they understood that time travel had rules. Artorias nodded as he picked up his sword.

"Fine, I am supposed to be dead so I will come. What happened to Ciaran then?"

Adrian looked at her and told her the truth.

"Ciaran, you died not long after Artorias did. A broken heart or possible suicide."

She flinched as she in fact has planed to kill herself once she was sure Artorias was put to rest.

Artorias was certainly not pleased to hear that the love of his life planed to end herself. Adrian grabbed Artorias by the leg and began to drag him outside.

"HEY! I CAN WALK BROTHER!"

Adrian kept dragging him and he explained why.

"I want to show off to my girl. She will see I am superior to you and fall even more in love."

Ciaran could barely hold back her smile as this was just like Adrian and Artorias. It was sweet to see that her life was truly safe.
