Prologue

Cyberpunk Era, where most humans are replaced with machines and other futuristic gadgets. Though humans have improved a lot, a lot has also changed. With more advanced technologies, more people are hungry to stand atop. Assassination, war and mass fights broke out as people have access to advanced machineries. Having a class is a top priority of people especially on the Central Cyber City.

Lucid, as one of the most elusive cybertron, has a kill count of 999 missions. He has a rough childhood as a war orphan with two of his younger sisters he raised. At first he was just a menial worker of transporting and delivering with his best friend Lurien at that time, until he found himself a damaged chip that changed his life forever. That chip contained the 001 Deus Ex Machina data where it was stolen and lost by the hacker Viper. This gave him a chance to work as a soldier. But that changed when the Association has decided to destroy Zone 14 during the war, where his family was residing. As a result, he vowed to kill all the perpetrators regardless of their disposition. If the world won't be kind to him, then he won't be kind to it.He registered as an assasin and started missions until he finds and he kills every single one of them, one by one. As a lone assasin, that got him placed at the top 7th of the assasination class ranking. He was the most feared assasin as he has a 100 percent kill rate. At his 1000th mission, he faced off with the 9 of the assasin rankings, hired by the President of the Caleum City.

He was betrayed by his only friend, Lurien, his own friend and informant by leaking his whereabouts, plans and a tracking device. Fending off the assault of 9 people, he ran through Luriens hideout and there, met his demise. In desperation and grief of betrayal, he self destructed himself just to annoy his friend, the only friend that betrayed him due to the news of him possessing the Deus ex Machina data chip. At his last moments, he was satisfied and looks at the sky, longing for his only family.
