Searching for Yuanba

Yang Tian was aware that the Palace Chief Qin had probably come because he was worried about Cang Yue. He probably wanted to personally escort her to the Blue Wind Imperial Palace.

"Palace Chief Qin, what have you told my father?" Cang Yue asked very carefully.

Palace Chief Qin wiped the cold sweat off his forehead before speaking, "How could I do that? How could I tell him that I allowed you to go with someone else? It was only after a few days that I felt like I had made a mistake in letting you go alone, but I couldn't find you around the New Moon City. So, I decided to make a trip to the Blue Wind Imperial City and wait for you here. If I had told your father… This head of mine… Hehe…"

Cang Yue realised that Palace Chief Qin seemed to be trying to hide her real identity. It was probably because he wanted to keep it from Yang Tian. A beautiful smile formed on her face as she told him, "You don't need to keep it concealed from Yang Tian. I have already told him about my real identity and my name."

"What?! Is that the truth?!" Palace Chief Qin was naturally surprised to hear Cang Yue. He rotated his head to Yang Tian's direction and saw him nodding in agreement.

"She informed me not long ago," He said with the same indifferent look on his face that Palace Chief Qin had seen when he saw Yang Tian in the New Moon City.

Moreover… Palace Chief Qin's eyes went as wide as saucers as he stuttered out, "Y-You are at the 5th Level of the T-True Profound Realm?!"

This was naturally shocking for Palace Chief Qin. It had only been a little more than one month since he had last seen Yang Tian, and to think there was such a massive transformation around him… It was simply unbelievable.

Yang Tian had broken through from the 8th Level of the Nascent Soul Realm to the 5th Level of the True Profound Realm! A breakthrough of 7 Levels, including a great realm, was a tremendous change!

Even Cang Yue was shocked to hear the cultivation base of Yang Tian. She wasn't able to sense his cultivation base since he had come out of the Phoenix's Trial grounds. She believed that he had probably broken through to the True Profound Realm at the most and was at the 1st Level of the True Profound Realm. And he was perhaps using a technique to conceal his cultivation base.

Never did she expect that Yang Tian had already surpassed her own cultivation base. Moreover, she remembered that Yang Tian had mentioned his age to be 16.

'He… He is even more amazing than I had accepted.' She then stared at the indifferent look on Yang Tian's face and couldn't help but let out an emotional sigh.

"I will be taking my leave then. I am sure you have your own tasks to do…" Yang Tian spoke, not at all interested in the chatter any longer.

"Alright, I will look for you later." Cang Yue nodded her head as she had to check up on her father's condition first. She then turned towards Palace Chief Qin and said to him, "Palace Chief, can you lead him to the Middle Palace?"

With Yang Tian's power, there was probably no need for him to be led by Palace Chief Qin. He could smoothly go through the regular assessment and still pass the Middle Palace test.

But…Once Yang Tian did get into the Middle Palace, someone could try and strike some trouble with him. To prevent that from happening, she was sending Palace Chief Qin along with him.

Palace Chief Qin (Qin Wuyou) was the younger brother of the Vice Palace Chief of the Blue Wind Profound Palace, Qin Wushang. Although Qin Wuyou wasn't as famous as his elder brother, almost all the disciples within the Middle Palace and Inner Palace knew of him.

(A/N: I will be using Qin Wuyou instead of Palace Chief Qin from now on. But in conversations, I might use Palace Chief Qin.)

Cang Yue was sure that nobody would try to trouble Yang Tian if he was escorted by Qin Wuyou.

However, Yang Tian shook his head and replied, "For now, I won't be going inside the Blue Wind Profound Palace. I need to meet someone first."

"Meet someone? Who?" Cang Yue asked with a slightly confused look on her face.

"Yuanba…" As he said that name, Cang Yue remembered Xia Yuanba. She remembered how Yang Tian had taken care of Xia Yuanba within New Moon City, and he had asked Cang Yue to even let Yuanba join the Blue Wind Profound Palace.

"Alright, please take him to the Middle Palace after he meets with Xia Yuanba, Palace Chief Qin. Also, please allow Xia Yuanba to join the outer palace without going through the strength assessment test."

"As you command, Princess…" Since there was no need to keep her identity hidden from Yang Tian, Qin Wuyou started speaking to her with a respectful voice, showing that he was a loyal subject of the Imperial Family.

"Let's go then," Yang Tian started walking towards the Blue Wind Imperial City.

The Blue Wind Imperial City was extensive. He wondered just where he could find Xia Yuanba here…

Perhaps he should have specified an inn to Xia Yuanba where they would meet. But he had no idea about which inns were there at the Blue Wind Imperial City.

'This was my error… I must think of these sorts of things as well.'

It took him half a day to find Xia Yuanba. Yang Tian had to go through a lot of inns where Xia Yuanba might have stayed.

With Qin Wuyou by his side, not a single innkeeper dared to be unkind to Yang Tian. It was because this meant that Yang Tian was the member of the Blue Wind Profound Palace. How could their small inn offend that colossal existence? It was impossible!

Yang Tian had only checked in 10 or so inns within the Blue Wind Imperial City before he found Xia Yuanba.

Xia Yuanba was truly happy to see Yang Tian and shouted out with an excited look on his face, "Brother Tian! You have finally come to the Blue Wind Imperial City!"
