Fighting the Flood Dragon(2)

Just another attack from the male flood dragon was enough to shatter Chu Yuechan's shield of ice.

Chu Yuechan had already disappeared from that spot and appeared in mid-air. She had a solemn look on her face as she targeted the male flood dragon and attempted to injure its body with her icy sword.

There was a miscalculation on her part though. Just as her icy sword was about to strike the male flood dragon, the female flood dragon suddenly hit Chu Yuechan with her huge dragon claw.

Fortunately, Chu Yuechan sensed the female flood dragon coming and immediately created a protecting layer of ice around herself.

The female flood dragon's claw wasn't able to destroy the protective layer of ice around Chu Yuechan. Still, it did manage to throw Chu Yuechan away from her husband.

The Frozen Cloud Domain slowly dispersed as Chu Yuechan's concentration broke as she crashed against a firm rock.

She had an icy look in her eyes as she stared at both flood dragons. Before she realised it, Yang Tian had appeared next to her.

"Kill at least one of them, I will deal with the other somehow." Yang Tian said to her with a calm voice.

Chu Yuechan had seen a bit of Yang Tian's fight against the female flood dragon and noticed that Yang Tian had merely grazed the female flood dragon. This already showed that Yang Tian was not capable of harming or killing the flood dragons. Did that mean…

"Is that young girl going to make her move?" Chu Yuechan asked Yang Tian, with a hint of hopefulness within her voice.

A look of disdain appeared in Yang Tian's eyes as he stared at Chu Yuechan, "She used a lot of her power when she appeared in front of you earlier… She can't appear here now."

"Is that so?" A disappointed look appeared in Chu Yuechan's eyes. She didn't think that the young girl couldn't make her move.

Didn't this mean that the two of them were going to die here? After all, Yang Tian didn't have the strength to slay a Sky Profound Beast. And they couldn't even run away as the flood dragons held the power of wind and were significantly faster than Chu Yuechan's quickest speed.

"Let you go?! Is that supposed to be a joke?! Did you let go of our son?! You, humans, are all despicable persons. If we let you go, you would just bring more people with you to hunt us and grab the Dragon God's treasure, you can definitely remove the thought of returning alive!" The female flood dragon raged out. It appeared that the death of her son had continued to linger on her mind and clouded her rational thinking.

"Leave this flood dragon to me. This one is my target. You can go ahead and kill that one… Well, if you can, that is." Yang Tian said, staring intently at the female flood dragon.

"Hmph…" She didn't reply to Yang Tian, and instead narrowed her eyes while staring at the male flood dragon, "I will ask again, let us go. Or else… I will make my last stand and definitely kill you first!"

"Last stand? Even though you are a human at the half step Emperor Profound Aura, you can give up the thought of injuring our body!" The male flood dragon seemed immensely proud of his robust body. After all, it had been refined with the aura of the Dragon God. How could a human hurt its body…

"So be it! Since I am fated to die in this place, you must also… pay dearly!" A chain of ice crystals condensed with a deafening sound, centring around Chu Yuechan's ice sword. The thick crystals condensed on the male Flood Dragon at an insane rate and extended from the centre of the Flood Dragon's body to its head and tail.

Slowly, its's entire body was sealed in the thick ice. This whole process barely lasted for five breaths' time… In only five breaths' time, the Flood Dragon, which was several tens of meters long, turned into an ice sculpture from head to tail. Everything happened so fast that the female Flood Dragon didn't even have time to react.

It had died! Under this incomparably frightening thorough ice formation, the male Flood Dragon had thoroughly died. In its entire body, not even a single cell had a trace of vitality remaining.

The female flood dragon let out angry roars which resounded in the area for some time.

"You human! You killed my husband! You killed my husband! I will definitely tear you apart into pieces!"

A cold smile appeared on Chu Yuechan's face as she faced the female flood dragon, "I told you that you should let us go. Since you didn't want to comply… Death was the only outcome!"

She had spoken with a hint of icy yet quite a helpless look on her face.

The female flood dragon got really angry and moved its dragon claw and kill Chu Yuechan in one go.

Chu Yuechan had used her forbidden move whose recoil had destroyed her profound veins. She had lost her half-step Emperor Profound Cultivation base and faced the female flood dragon. She closed her eyes as she awaited her death…
